Is Rewardia a Scam or Legit? (How I Lost $174)

Rewardia Rating

Rewardia has plenty of ways to earn. However, it gives quite low rewards + they still owe me $174 and I have been unable to get a reply from them about this despite trying many times. Therefore, I would recommend using other sites instead.

Rewardia is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site that offers to pay you for completing different online micro-tasks.

At first, it seems like a genuine and safe site to earn some extra cash.

But is Rewardia legit and really a way to earn or a scam to stay away from?

This is important to know before joining any online rewards site, as there are many sites that will just waste your time and end up scamming you.

When it comes to Rewardia, this question is, however, not that simple to answer as I have had both good and some very bad experiences with it. I have both been paid by the site but I have also been cheated for money there.

So to find out if it will be risky for you to join and really worth your time, we need to look at both the pros and cons of it in detail.

This Rewardia review will do just that and take a look at everything the site has to offer so you will know exactly what to expect when you become a member. That way, you can properly decide if you should join this site or not.

What is Rewardia and what does it offer?

As mentioned above, Rewardia is a GPT site that will pay you for participating in different activities on their site.

To truly gauge the earning potential of the site (which is one of the most important factors to consider), we need to take a closer look at the earning opportunities it presents.

This is the best way to determine if a site is indeed profitable or not.

I have created a small video that shows my exact results with Rewardia and how you can earn. You can also read all the details below the video:

Option 1 – Rewardia Surveys

For most GPT sites, one of the ways you can earn rewards is by answering paid surveys. With Rewardia, it is no different.

Rewardia Surveys Examples
You can find many surveys on Rewardia – but they do not pay very well.

If you've been a member of a survey site, you will know what to expect with paid surveys. If you are new to this, then paid surveys are basically surveys you can take in exchange for rewards.

The process for answering paid surveys will involve answering a set of qualifying questions first. This is done in order to make sure you belong to the group the survey is targeting.

If you qualify, you will then get to answer the actual survey. If you don't, you simply move on to the next available paid survey offer.

Once you complete the paid survey, you will then receive the reward promised, which will be credited to your Rewardia account.

As you can see in the photo above, you will know right away how many points you will receive for completing the survey offer. You will also know how long it approximately will take to complete the survey.

Overall, Rewardia offers quite a lot of surveys so it is definitely one of the earning methods to make sure you take advantage of if you decide to join after reading this review.

However, compared to the highest paying survey sites, Rewardia does just not pay very well for the surveys and this seems to have become worse since I first tested it. But I will go more into detail about this later.

Option 2 – Play Games

Another way to earn rewards from Rewardia is to play games.

This can be great as you can have fun while earning.

rewardia play games
Playing games is another way to earn rewards on Rewardia. It doesn't pay much but it sure isn't boring.

When you log in to Rewardia.com, you will quickly see all the games you can play. Each game will have specific conditions you have to meet in order to earn the reward promised.

Once you meet the condition, you can stop playing because the reward will then be credited to your account. The rewards you earn from this opportunity though won't be that high compared to the best sites where you can earn by playing games.

In fact, the rewards for these games are actually very low so it will take a lot of patience to earn this way. It should, therefore, only be an earning method you use if you really like playing the games anyway.

Option 3 – Other Activities

There are other activities on Rewardia you can do to earn rewards. You can answer polls, watch videos, and even check the weather.

By completing all of these activities, you will receive points.

However, don't expect to earn a lot of points from these activities.

The good thing though is, it really doesn't take much effort to complete these activities. So, it's a fair exchange, in my opinion.

Overall, you can find a lot of options on Rewardia. At first, this can be a bit confusing as it is not that easy to get a good overview.

But if you take the time to just click around the site, you will quickly figure out where to find the different option and then there are plenty of activities you can do to earn.

Option 4 – Promo Codes

Promo codes aren't exactly earning opportunities but more of a bonus.

rewardia promo codes
You can get promo codes by visiting their Facebook page.

As shown in the photo above, you can get the promo codes from their Facebook page or through emails they send to you from time to time.

All you have to do is input the promo code and you will receive the reward.

Usually, they post these promos codes every day. So, contrary to many other sites that use promo codes, it is something you can find very often.

However, usually you will only get 5 points which will be worth $0.005 so it is not a lot so do not expect to earn a lot from these promo codes.

But if you decide to become a member after reading this review, then it can be an easy way to earn a bit extra.

Option 5 – Referral Program

Most GPT sites also have a referral program and Rewardia is no exemption.

rewardia refer program
Inviting people to join Rewardia will allow you to earn passive income.

You can invite other people to join Rewardia and receive 10% of their earnings as a reward. Of course, this means they will have to be active on the site in order for you to earn something.

As an added incentive for them joining the site through your referral link or code, they will receive 3,000 bonus points once they earn their first 3,000 points.

That's a huge bonus for them, in my opinion, which makes joining the site much more enticing.

You can invite people to join by sharing your referral link or posting your referral link on Facebook or Twitter.

You can also give them your referral code so that they will get a bonus when signing up.

If you prefer to invite people to join via email, you can also do that. All in all, their referral program is quite decent, in my opinion, because the bonus your referral will receive is quite significant.

This can be a good selling point to convince them to join the site and stay active.

How do you get paid?

As you can see, every activity you complete on Rewardia will earn you points. This is their platform's currency.

You can then use the points you've accumulated and exchange them for rewards.

rewardia payment
You can exchange the points you've earned to gift cards or withdraw it via bank transfer.

You can get gift cards or exchange the points for cash through bank transfer.

If you want to exchange the points for gift cards, you will need to have at least 5000 points (equivalent to $5) to do so. They do have a relatively extensive list of gift cards you can get.

If you choose to withdraw your earnings in cash, you will need to accumulate 50,000 points (equivalent to $50) in order to do so. That, in my opinion, is a very high payout threshold to reach.

And considering how low the rewards on Rewardia in general are, it will take you a lot of patience to get paid if you want to get paid in cash.

There are many great sites that also pay via direct bank transfer that has a payout threshold that will be a lot easier to reach.

Overall, I think Rewardia's payment methods are decent but the high threshold if you want to get paid in cash is definitely a big minus.

How much money can you earn?

The amount of money you can earn from Rewardia will mostly depend on how active you are on the site.

Based on the offers available on the site, you will be able to earn a decent number of points by doing paid surveys. These are the highest paying offers available on the site.

And as mentioned, playing games and doing other activities won't pay quite as well. But the good thing is, there are always offers available.

And the rewards for the Rewardia surveys are just not very high compared to how they are on many other survey sites.

So, you need some patience and effort to get paid.

Also, as I will explain later, I have actually experienced not even being able to get paid myself and this is definitely something you need to consider.

So make sure to read the section later where I describe exactly what happened so you can avoid losing money as I did as a member.

rewardia status tiers
The more points you earn in the long run, the more benefits you get as a member.

If you still end up joining, you will receive certain bonuses once you qualify for being upgraded to one of their tiers.

The premise for these tiers is basically, once you move up one tier, you will receive discounts when redeeming gift cards using points. The higher the tier, the higher the discount you will get.

In other words, it will cost you less to redeem a certain amount of gift cards. That's a nice bonus to have, in my opinion.

However, this bonus program is very poor compared to a bonus program on a site like PrizeRebel.

Because the only benefits you get from moving up a level on Rewardia is to get a discount when you redeem gift cards of a high amount which will take a lot of patience to reach.

Can you use it on mobile?

rewardia mobile site

If you were hoping to work on Rewardia from a mobile device, you will be able to do so by using a mobile web browser.

That's because they don't have a standalone Rewardia app you can download and install on your mobile device.

The good thing though is, their website is optimized for mobile use. This means you will be able to conveniently navigate through the site without having to zoom in or scroll left and right.

The links to get to other pages of the site are also quite big, so you won't have a problem tapping it even on a mobile phone.

This is a good sign because this will help you become a more efficient earner since you don't need to sit in front of the computer to earn.

Who can join Rewardia?

Rewardia is available to residents of Australia, New Zealand, and the US.

You also have to be at least 18 years of age in order to be eligible as a member.

I have been told that they are planning to expand to further countries in the future but as of writing this review, the countries mentioned above are the only ones available and it has been like that for several years so I am not sure if they ever will open up for more countries.

rewardia registration
Fill out the registration form to become a member and receive a bonus.

To register as a member, all you have to do is fill out the registration form located on their homepage.

Then, you just have to activate your account by clicking the activation link in the email you will receive from them.

Once you've done that, you can start working on the offers available to receive rewards.

One good thing about their registration process is, you will receive a 100 point bonus once you finish the registration process.

It's not much, but it's a nice bonus to have because not a lot of GPT sites offer sign up bonuses.

Can you get support?

If you need to get in touch with their support team, you can do so by using their contact page.

rewardia support
To contact their support team, just fill out the appropriate contact form.

As you can see in the photo above, their contact form is streamlined for the type of question you want to ask. You can choose the general topic you want to ask and then fill out the form.

You can also check their FAQ section if you want to look for the answers on your own. They also have a Facebook page which is quite active.

Overall though it, at first seems like they provide a decent method of getting support.

However, in my experience, it is very random when the support will answer – sometimes you might get a fairly quick answer but other times it takes a long time before you get an answer or you might not hear back from them at all.

This is a big minus and also one of the reasons I no longer recommend Rewardia because the support has refused to get back to me even though they owe me money – but I will explain all this next.

Rewardia warning + complaints

So far Rewardia seems like a fairly decent way to make a bit of extra money – and I also thought so when I first tested it.

However, as I have already mentioned a few times, since then I have had some really bad experiences with them.

After I first tested it and found out it actually pays, I decided to also recommend it to people visiting my website as I do with some of the legit and good sites.

I used their referral program for this so I could earn a bit extra and for a while, everything worked fine and people I heard from that joined it had a good experience.

But then suddenly something happened when I tried to contact their support to ask about my next payment from them.

I simply did not hear back from them. Of course, I did not just try to write once as they owed me $174 but I tried several times and to several email addresses and even to a Skype address I found.

Finally I heard back that they would look into this right away. However, NOTHING happened.

I have written again, of course, but I do not get any reply. In total, I have written them probably 8-10 over the last 2-3 months but have now given up getting my money.

So it seems I will never be getting the $174 they owe me.

Therefore, I want to warn you if you decide to join. Yes, Rewardia often pays and I have been paid by it myself.

But as you can see from my story, it is not always the case and they have terrible support if you need help with things like this.

If you still decide to join, then make sure to cash out as soon as you can so at least you will not lose that much if you suddenly will not get paid.

Final Verdict

Rewardia is a GPT site that pays you for completing the activities they offer. It has some good qualities but it also has some big drawbacks you need to be aware of.

So let's finish this review with a summary of its pros and cons to give you a clear picture of what the site has to offer to help you make a decision on whether you should join this site or not.

pros

Pros:

  • It offers a joining bonus
  • You can always find available offers
cons

Cons:

  • Limited payment methods available
  • High payout threshold for bank transfer
  • Only available in 2 countries at the moment
  • Low paying surveys and offers
  • At times really terrible support
  • I lost $174 that they never paid me

As you can see, Rewardia is a GPT site where you can earn a bit of extra cash. However, it also has some huge drawbacks.

My main issue with Reardia is obviously that they owe me $174 that I have given up ever getting as they keep not getting back to me.

However, it does regularly pay and before this, I was paid by them myself. But because of my experience, I would say that it is too risky to accumulate earnings there.

Also, the rewards you get in relation to the time you spend on surveys and offers are quite low compared to many other sites.

Therfore, I would suggest you check out the top GPT sites instead as they all give better opportunities and higher rewards, in my experience.

The GPT sites on this list all have good earning potential. Plus, you will be able to find a GPT site you can join regardless of where you live.

If you have any comments, questions, or have any experiences with Rewardia yourself, I would love to hear from you in a comment below.

  1. I have accumulated over $50 in rewards but when I try to claim the rewards, the response I get is that there was suspicious use on my site. I have replied numerous times explaining that I was in another country but they kept asking for a copy of my drivers license. When I forwarded this my computer was hacked and I was the victim of phishing. I tried again after about a year to claim my reward but the same problem continues. If I am not able to claim my reward I am going to post on every site my very bad experiences with Rewardia.
    Please help me!!!
    Thank you

    • Sorry to hear that but thanks for sharing your experiences.

As you can see in the review above, I have also had some bad experiences with Rewardia myself. But hope you will get your money.

  2. I am newer to Rewardia and have faithfully been doing many surveys every day. Yesterday, because I have done so many surveys I was offered a reward of pots and pans, all I had to do was pay a small shipping fee. I entered my credit card number to pay for this. Later in the afternoon I got a call from the fraud department of my credit card company due to suspicious activity. Yup, someone was trying to use my card. And since then I longer receive email invitations to do more surveys. I will never again trust any on-line survey. My search prior to joining said it was legit. I now have my doubts.

    • Thanks for sharing your experiences. But do not let one bad experience stop you – there are many legit survey sites that will never do this. Also, even though Rewardia is not a site I recommend, as you can see in the review above, I highly doubt they would do something like this as that would be way too risky for them. But it does seem like a starnge coincidence. Are you sure the pots and pans offer was from them? Because it is usually not something they will offer so it almost seems like someone was misusing the name of the platform to get your contact info- How did you get that offer? Was it sent via email? If it was, check to see if it was actually from the official Rewardia address.

Also, you can try contacting their support to get more info about this and to see if there might be an explanation.

Let me know how it goes.

  3. I am waiting to cash out with Rewardia. Been doing surveys for about two weeks now and managed to get $10 in points doing a couple of surveys here and there in my spare time. It was very hard to get these points which is why I am cashing out then closing my account. Each 1000 points = $1. However when I go to cash out my $10,000 points it’s telling me that I only have $3,000 and my other $7000 points are pending, it’s been that way for about four days now.

    Issues I have with rewardia:
    – 7/10 surveys kick you out for not meeting their criteria, often half way through the survey or never the end of the survey, which is a massive waste of time.
    – They ask a ridiculous amount of questions to answers that are already in my rewardia profile such as my age, country, household income. They often ask 20 questions before they even get to the main survey. you think you are in the survey but then you find out that all of those questions are just the qualifying questions.
    – There is a ridiculous amount of questions that prove you are not a robot. Like every third question. Really?
    – Also, new surveys sometimes redirect you over and over again to other surveys that are hosted from a separate platform, OR, it keeps redirecting itself into circles. For example you might answer four questions and press ‘continue’ and redirected to a page that says ‘finding you a survey’ and then it redirects you back to the same page.

If you go to your account to claim missing points (from the surveys that redirect you over and over), they do not give you your points because its our fault that we left and chose not to complete it, when that’s not the case at all. They simply state that we are the ones who left early.

I am patiently waiting for most of my reward points to not be pending anymore.

  4. I was a subscriber to Rewardia for a long time. A year ago I went to Australia and continued to do Rewardia surveys. I accumulated over $50 but when I tried to cash out they kept replying that there was suspicious activity on my account from another destination. I sent them countless replies saying that it was from me but they refused to pay me out, unless I provided a picture of my driver’s license. I eventually did this and then started getting suspicious emails that included the details of my license which made be suspect that someone hacks their site. Rewardia continued to refuse my pay out.
