Over the years, I have seen so many articles and videos online claiming they know the best CPA marketing strategy that will allow you to earn hundreds of dollars quickly. Most of these videos and articles, however, have fake claims.

Most (if not all) of these articles and videos offer a quick way or shortcut to succeed in CPA marketing.

But in my experience and knowledge (I have been doing CPA marketing for several years now), there’s no shortcut to success, especially in CPA marketing.

This is why I decided to write this guide on the best CPA marketing strategy that you can employ so that you can avoid those fake claims, which are very abundant nowadays. It will be a step-by-step guide on how to potentially earn a full-time income from CPA marketing.

What is CPA Marketing?

Before we start talking about the strategy, we have to discuss what CPA marketing is, so you can fully understand the concept of this type of earning opportunity. CPA means cost per acquisition or cost per action.

CPA marketing is a form of affiliate marketing employed by companies of all sizes to scale their marketing efforts so that they can reach a wider audience.

They do this by partnering with bloggers, influencers, and CPA marketing platforms. The idea behind this form of marketing is to share the link to an offer and earn when somebody clicks the link and fulfills the action required by the offer.

These actions can be like signing up for an email list, buying a certain product, and more. When the action has been completed, you will receive compensation as a reward for promoting the offer.

Many of the videos and articles I’ve found online will not only waste your time but your money as well. These videos and articles will always claim that you can earn easy money quickly if you follow their CPA marketing strategy.

Most of these claims will focus on showing you the best offer to promote because it pays a good amount. But this is not the approach you need because some of the CPA networks online that are being promoted by these videos and articles have a ton of really poor offers.

Now, the question is, how do you do it properly? Well, that’s what I will discuss in the following sections.

Step 1 – Identifying your topic and medium

The first step to a successful CPA marketing strategy is to build sustainable traffic to the medium where you’ve chosen to promote your CPA offers (it can be a website, YouTube channel, social media page, etc). And to do this, you have to first find out what kind of topic you want to talk about.

When choosing a topic, you have to pick one that you are knowledgeable about, so you can impart actual value to your audience. Because as I’ve mentioned above, the idea is to provide value to your audience. The reason for this is to build trust. When your audience trusts you, they will also trust what you are promoting.

After you’ve figured out what topic you want to talk about, the next step is to find out how you want to do it. If you prefer speaking in front of a camera, you can create a YouTube channel. If you are good at writing, you can create a blog or website and write articles about the topic instead.

Whatever medium you choose, the most important factor will be comfortability. You have to be comfortable with the medium you’ve chosen so that you can create good content. If you can do both or other methods as well (like TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), you have to choose which one to focus first.

If you are a beginner, you might be tempted to employ the services of websites that claim you can buy cheap and fast traffic.

This is not a good idea, in my opinion, and the reason is that although you will really get traffic from these sites or platforms, the traffic you are getting will not offer any real value to you.

You will not get any conversions from the traffic you are getting because the people who will usually visit your link will have no interest in availing of the offer you will be promoting. You see, the people who visit your links are just there either to get paid by the site/platform offering paid traffic (these are usually PTC sites) or to promote their own offers.

There are also other paid traffic sources like Google or Facebook ads. While these platforms are legit, this method will require a lot of skills and experience and a huge budget for testing to earn from it. So if you are a beginner, paid traffic is a quick way to burn money because for this approach to succeed, you need to know exactly what you are doing.

#2 – Email Marketing

While this can be a good way to promote your offers, you need to be careful with how you do it. You need a traffic source to use email marketing effectively.

Now there are a lot of sites claiming you can just buy an email list. I highly recommend you stay away from these sites because you’ll just end up wasting your money.

These sites might even be illegally collecting email addresses from other people, so you will just end up condoning these sites for the unethical things they are doing.

The best way to approach email marketing is, as I’ve mentioned, to build up a sustainable traffic source first.

Once your site/channel/social media gains sustainable traffic, you can set up an email list where they can just sign up if they are interested in more info from you.

This is the organic way to execute email marketing. But again, this is something that a beginner should avoid because this method requires a lot of knowledge and experience to execute properly. But most importantly, it requires you to have traffic, so focus on this first.
