Fortunable Review: Legit or a Scam? (An Inside Look)

Fortunable Rating

Fortunable is not a great site to earn extra cash from. It doesn’t offer many opportunities to earn, and it’s not something you can regularly earn from.

Fortunable is a website that claims you can earn up to $5 per survey you answer. It’s certainly a bold claim because, based on my experience, not many survey sites pay this much per survey. So, I understand if you are interested in joining this site.

Now, the question is, is it legit or just another scam?

Before you hit the sign-up button, I urge you to read this Fortunable review because it will not only answer that question but it will also give you an inside look so you can see what the site truly offers.

That way, you’ll know exactly what to expect from it before you even register. Then, you can decide if it is worth signing up for.

What is Fortunable, and what does it offer?

Fortunable is a survey site that will reward you for answering surveys. And yes, it is legit. However, that doesn’t always mean it is worth your time. To figure out if you should join Fortunable, you must first understand how it works.

And the best way to do that is to take a look at the earning opportunity it offers so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort is needed to earn from it.

So, here’s a video that gives you an inside look and shows exactly how it works. You can also read all the details below the video.

The earning opportunity – Paid surveys

The only way to earn from Fortunable is to answer paid surveys. However, before you can answer one, you must complete your profile.

completing your fortunable profile
You must complete your profile to increase your chances of receiving survey invites.

As you can see in the photo above, you’ll have to answer quite a number of questions to complete your profile. You also won’t be compensated for answering these questions like other survey sites do. And you must spend around 10 minutes or so just complete your profile.

You need to do this because this is how Fortunable determines which surveys to send your way. Once you are done with your profile, all you have to do is wait for an invite from them. The invite will be sent via email, so make sure to check your email regularly.

Now, this is very important. When you receive an invite, it will include the link to the survey. This link is only clickable once. If you click it and then close the browser tab that opened without finishing the survey, you can’t get back to it anymore.

That is why I advise you to only click the link to the survey when you are ready to answer the survey. When you answer a survey, you'll have to go through a qualifying process first. The site does this to ensure you are the right fit for the survey. If you qualify, you get to answer the survey. If you don't qualify, you simply move on to the next survey available, if there are any.

When answering a survey, make sure to also finish it quickly because if the page is inactive for a long time, the survey will be aborted and you won’t be able to get back to it.

This system is quite strange, in my opinion, but that’s how Fortunable works. Now, you must also not wait a long time before clicking and answering a survey because each survey has a limited number of respondents.

If that number is reached, you will not be given access to it anymore. So, if you receive an invite, make sure to accept it as soon as possible.

After you complete a survey, the payment will be credited to your Fortunable account balance. Sometimes, it can take some time before the amount will be credited to your account, so don’t worry if you don’t immediately see your reward.

In the next section, I will discuss how you can withdraw your earnings. Now, when I tested the site, there were not a lot of surveys available. So, it’s a bit hard to earn regularly from this site, in my opinion. This is to be expected, though, since Fortunable pre-qualifies you for surveys. So, don’t expect to receive a lot of invites from it.

How do you get paid?

As mentioned above, you’ll earn a certain amount when you complete a survey. But how will you be able to withdraw your earnings?

payout methods of fortunable
You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal or convert them to gift cards or prepaid Visa cards.

Well, you can withdraw them via PayPal or convert them to Amazon gift cards or a prepaid Visa card. You can also donate your earnings to charities supported by Fortunable. To cash out, you must earn at least $10, which is a relatively low payout threshold.

Overall, I would say Fortunable's payout system is relatively simple. I like the fact that it offers a convenient payment method like PayPal. If you are interested in more sites that use a convenient payment method, I suggest you also check out the top sites that pay via PayPal.

How much money can you make?

Let me be honest with you. It’s quite hard to earn a good amount of money from Fortunable because it doesn’t offer a lot of surveys.

So, even though you can earn up to $5 per survey, the overall earning potential of Fortunable is still quite low, in my opinion.

You can consider yourself lucky if you get invited to a survey at least twice a month. When I tested the site, I never got an invite, even after several days. But of course, it will still all depend on your profile. The best thing you can do to increase your chances of receiving invites is to always answer surveys honestly and accept invites as soon as possible. That will show Fortunable that you are serious about answering their surveys properly.

Can you use it on mobile?

Fortunable doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but you can still answer surveys using your mobile device. That’s because, as explained earlier, you will receive the invites via email. So, you can just open your email inbox from your mobile device and open the survey that way.

However, it would still be more convenient for you to do it on a computer, in my opinion, since the site is quite strict with how you can answer surveys. As explained earlier, you can only open a survey once, and if you open it on a mobile device but have to do something else immediately, Fortunable will abort the survey due to inactivity.

That’s why I suggest you only answer them using your laptop or desktop so that nothing can distract you from completing the survey.

Who can join Fortunable?

In the menu bar of the website, you can see the countries Fortunable is available in. From what I can see, it is available more or less globally.

how to sign up for fortunable
You must provide your email address and create a password to sign up.

To sign up as a member, you must provide your email address and password. Then, Fortunable will send you a confirmation link via email. You must click that link to complete your registration. Once you are registered, you can log in to the member dashboard.

However, as explained earlier, you must complete your profile before you will be qualified to answer surveys. I suggest you do this right away so that the site can start to determine which surveys to send your way.

Can you get support?

If you have questions about the site or your account, you can check out the FAQ page. It discusses some of the basic topics you need to know about Fortunable.

If you can’t find the answers you are looking for or if you experience any technical issues while using the site, you can contact support instead. You can do so by emailing them at support@fortunable.com.

Overall, I would say the site provides the minimum required support to its members since it offers an easy way for you to contact support.

Final Verdict

Fortunable is a legit survey site that will reward you for answering surveys. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has certain limitations you need to consider.

Let me finish this review by summarizing its pros and cons so you can get a clear overview of what it offers. Then, you can decide if it is a site worth your time or not.

pros

Pros:

  • Offers a simple way to earn
  • Offers convenient payment methods
cons

Cons:

  • Limited earning opportunities
  • You must finish answering a survey in one sitting

In my opinion, Fortunable is not a great site to earn extra cash from. That’s because it doesn’t offer many opportunities to earn. So, it’s not something you can regularly earn from. At best, it can serve as a decent secondary site to earn from, provided you adjust your expectations accordingly in terms of earning potential.

That’s why if you are looking for great sites to earn from, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites on this list all have good earning potential, so you will be able to earn a decent amount in no time.

  1. Good day Sir. I really appreciate your posts and the insights you give. I first saw your videos on YouTube before learning of this your website. It was all just recently though. I have been trying to find some sustainable and at least decent means of earning online for a long time now, but it seems more difficult to gain access into some that meet these requirements especially for a Nigerian like me. Restricted access and few jobs seem to be the biggest issue. I am Looking forward to learning a skill in the direct of content writing, etc but before I can grow there I need a something that can kind of support. I’d check the link you posted down for best free earning opportunities in my country, but if you still have any advice for me I’d appreciate it. Thank you once again.

    • Fortunable is a smart scam.
For one if they ask you to register, they will ask for your email and then the password they suggest their own which they say it’s strong. The moment you click on it they will say it has been taken. You can repeat this process a million times but still they will say it’s taken. How if it had suggested by them a million different password. Even if you can your great grand parents names they will say it’s taken. Let them go f..ck with their 50c

  3. Nice to be on this site, There are lots of challenges here in Nigeria where I am . Most of the challenges are lack of trust, insecurity, lack of good governance and breaking down of laws and order etc. Unemployment rate is very high so how can you help so that one can be self reliance? ??

    • More or less all free earning platforms will ask for verification before they pay you. They have to do this to avoid fraud. So if you do not want to verify your identity, you should honestly not expect to be able to earn from these platforms.
