Repocket Review – Legit or Scam? (A Detailed Look)

Repocket Rating

Repocket is a decent platform to earn extra cash from, provided you set your expectations properly. You will not be able to earn a lot of money from it, but the good thing is that it requires very little effort to earn.

Repocket pays you $0.20 per GB for sharing your unused internet, and it practically requires no effort. In my opinion, it is a decent way to earn extra cash, provided you set your expectations properly. But you will not make a lot, and PayPal is gone.

The short answer

Repocket is a passive income app. It pays you to let its software use your unused internet connection, and it practically requires no effort. It works on almost any device and is available more or less worldwide. My review does not show a payout yet.

But you will not make a lot of money. You earn $0.20 per gigabyte, from a maximum of two devices on the same IP address, so it takes time to reach the $7 threshold. Repocket no longer pays through PayPal: you cash out through Stake, Wise or Binance.

What I like
  • You earn passively
  • Works on Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, Linux and Docker
  • Available in many countries
  • A $5 bonus when you sign up
  • Helpful support staff on Discord
What I don’t like
  • No PayPal payouts anymore
  • Only two devices per IP address earn
  • It takes time to reach the $7 threshold
  • The mobile app drains your battery a bit
  • Paid offers are no longer available

Is Repocket legit and safe?

Repocket pays $0.20 per GB for letting its software use your unused internet. But my review does not show a payout yet. Here is what you should know.

  • You will not make a lot

$0.20 per GB is a decent rate, but only two devices per IP address earn. A third device on the same connection earns nothing, unless it uses a different connection like your mobile data. It takes patience to reach the threshold.

  • No PayPal anymore

Repocket used to pay through PayPal, but it no longer does. You cash out through Stake, Wise or Binance. Stake is a crypto casino, so only use it if you know what you are doing.

  • Others use your connection

Repocket’s clients use your connection to monitor prices, search Google, monitor stock prices and do competitor research. Repocket says this is anonymous and that it only collects your IP address, ISP name and city.

  • The app drains your battery

The mobile app drains your battery a bit, so you cannot run it on your phone for a long time. Repocket works best on a computer.

My takeIn my opinion, Repocket is a decent platform for earning extra cash, provided you set your expectations properly. You will not be able to make a lot of money from it, but it requires very little effort to earn. So you need to be patient.

Repocket no longer pays through PayPal. See the passive income apps I rate higher.

How you earn on Repocket

There are 2 ways to earn now. Running the software is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Running the software$0.20 per GB
Devices Repocket works on

Install the software and let it run in the background. I find it very versatile, as it works on almost any device, so you will most likely be able to use it. It uses your internet connection for Repocket’s clients. If you are a Honeygain member, this will be very familiar.

What you earn depends on your location, device type, mobile carrier or ISP, internet speed and number of devices. Only two devices on the same IP address earn.

The software does not drastically slow down your internet, unless you do things like uploading videos or online gaming.

Referral program$5 + 10%
Repocket referral program

Share your invite link. Your referral must install and use the software. When they complete their first payout, you get $5, and you earn a 10% commission every time they earn. I think it is a good way to earn extra, if you invite people who are interested in Repocket.

Paid offers (no longer available)Coming soon
Paid offers on Repocket

When I tested the platform, Repocket had paid offers, but there were not a lot. When I checked back, they were gone, and the “Complete Offers” section says “Coming soon”.

How much can you make?

You get $0.20 per gigabyte you share. I think that is a decent rate, but with a maximum of two devices on the same IP address, it takes some time to reach the payout threshold.

This is not unexpected. In my experience with other platforms like this, you will not earn a lot of money. But since it practically requires no effort, I still consider it a good way to earn extra cash. I would say its earning potential is relatively good overall. You also get a $5 bonus when you sign up.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimum
Wise$7
Binance$7
Stake$7

You see your earnings in the member dashboard, weekly or monthly. I find the payment system relatively straightforward. Once you have $7, you can cash out. The threshold used to be $20, and I like that Repocket lowered it. PayPal is no longer an option. For sites that still pay via PayPal, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

  1. Dear Mikael,

Thank you for your latest update on this website. I’ve been following you for a long time, but I’ve never left a comment before. I wanted to express my gratitude—your reviews and guides have really helped me a lot in this information-overloaded internet era.

I really like your new website UI design; it’s clear and more aesthetically pleasing. Regarding Repocket, I also tried their Offerwall section recently. For example, Adjoe on their Android app tracked my progress successfully, but the incentives never showed up in my account balance. I sent an email to their customer service and a message on their Discord, but got no reply. I completely agree with the score you gave. Until their customer service gets back to people, I’d say it’s best to refrain from using their app.

Thank you, and wish you all the best!

    Warm regards,
    Ying

    • Thanks for commenting and sharing your experiences. I am happy to hear you like my new website design.

And I hope you hear back from their support soon. Be aware that for some offers it can take a few days for the earnings to show in your account balance as they need to be approved first. Let me know how it goes.

    • Depending on the country you live in, you can just create a free PayPal account. Or you can just use platforms that offer other payout methods.
