Now, the question is, is it worth it or not?

In this Webflow Experts review, I will show you what the site and the program offer so you will know exactly what to expect from it. Then, you can decide if this is a good fit for you or not.

What is Webflow Experts, and what does it offer?

Webflow Experts is a program designed by Webflow.com to help web developers and designers find earning opportunities. It is essentially a network of freelancers who provide services to SMBs (Small and Midsize Businesses) and mid-market customers.

Now, the question is, is it worth it or not? Well, the only way to find out if you should go for it is to understand how it works. And the best way to do that is to take a look at the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear picture of what you need to do to potentially earn and how well you can earn from it.

So, here’s how to earn from Webflow Experts.

Option 1 – Leads

What the Webflow Experts program offers are leads, so technically speaking, it’s not a guaranteed way to earn. You have to convert the leads you get from the program to earn.

Once you become a professional partner of Webflow, you will be asked to provide information on what type of service you can provide, the budget for the project you are willing to work on, as well as your availability.

These will serve as the basis for the leads that will be sent your way. The number of leads you will receive will vary. Sometimes, you’ll only receive one, and sometimes, you’ll receive more. Now, it’s up to you how you will be able to convert those leads into paying clients.

From what I’ve observed, the quality of the leads you will get is actually pretty decent, so there’s a good chance you can convert them into paying customers. Of course, you also have the option to reject the lead if, for example, the client’s budget doesn’t fall into your preferred budget range.

Option 2 – Revenue Sharing from Site Plans

When you become a professional partner, you are entitled to a percentage of your clients' site plan subscriptions. The details aren’t exactly clear because Webflow’s website doesn’t elaborate on it clearly, but the idea is that you’ll receive a 20% commission whenever your client avails of a site plan from Webflow.

Just take note that this will only be for the first 12 months of the subscription period, so it’s a bit limited.

Now, you may be wondering, what are site plans? Well, a site plan is the hosting plan for the client’s site. When a client asks Webflow to create a website for them, they will have to avail of a site plan to get a custom domain.

It’s a nice addition to the income you will receive for creating a website for a client. Of course, as mentioned, you’ll only earn from the first year of the subscription, so it’s not a regular way to earn.

How do you get paid?

When you convert a lead into a paying customer, you’ll have to also let them know how you will get paid. So, it’s really up to you how you will get paid. You can choose to get paid via direct bank transfer, PayPal, AirTM, or any other payment gateway. You just need to make sure the client agrees with the payment system you prefer.

As for the earnings from revenue sharing, it’s not quite clear how Webflow will send you the money because, as mentioned, there’s not a lot of information about it on their website. However, I would assume that the payment method that will be used will be quite convenient (like direct bank transfer or maybe even PayPal).

And since you have control over how much you will earn from the jobs you take, then you are guaranteed to earn a good amount every time you convert a lead.

You just need to make sure you have a solid strategy to convert leads, which can take time and experience to develop, so you must be patient with it.

Overall, I would say the earning potential of Webflow Experts is quite good as long as you can convert leads. Plus, there’s an added value of prestige because when you become a Webflow Expert, more people will trust you, and you will eventually land more web development or design opportunities.

Can you use it on mobile?

I would say that for what Webflow Experts offers, you will definitely need to use a computer due to the nature of the work that needs to be done. Even though the dashboard is mobile-friendly, there’s really no need to log in to it using your mobile device.

So, to answer the question above, NO, you can’t, and you don’t really need to, in my opinion.

Who can join Webflow Experts?

Now, here’s the hard part. Becoming a professional partner for Webflow is not an easy task. You will have to apply for a spot in their Webflow Experts program. To become a Webflow Expert, you must demonstrate both proven expertise in the Webflow product as well as a successful history in building sites for clients.

The first step is to have all the certifications needed to qualify as a Webflow Expert.  As shown in the photo above, four certifications are needed. The good thing, though, is that you can take all the exams in the Webflow dashboard. You can log in to the dashboard using your Google account or email address.

Once you are on the dashboard, you must go into the Certifications section and take all the tests. Make sure to take your time when answering the tests for the certifications because becoming a Webflow Expert hinges on you passing those certification exams.

If you pass all the certification exams, the next step is to fill out the application form. Then, as mentioned, you’ll have to provide proof of your experience as a web developer/designer. Then, you must also share your brand presence (your website or blog or anything that shows that you are a good web developer or designer).

After completing these steps, you must submit your application and wait for approval from Webflow. If you get accepted as a professional partner, you’ll receive an email with the instructions for the onboarding process. This is where your journey as a Webflow Expert begins.

As you can see, becoming a professional partner takes a lot of preparation, so it’s not for everyone. In my opinion, it is best suited for developers/designers who already have an extensive experience in the field.

If you are just starting as a web developer or designer, then there’s a very low chance you will get accepted into the program.

Webflow Experts is a legit site that will help you find opportunities to earn as a web developer/designer. It has some good features, but it also has quite a few limitations you must consider.
