Option 3 – Quick chat
This opportunity is similar to their quick polls since there’s no guarantee you will earn if you participate. Quick Chat is almost like a poll as well, the only difference is that you provide your answer. It sort of works like a forum post.
But every quick chat will have only 1 winner. To join, you just need to post your comment before the deadline. When the deadline passes, a winner will be selected and will be awarded a certain amount (usually around $25).
Your opinion will usually award the prize to the member who posted the best comment (or most relevant). So, you really need to make sure you post quality comments to increase your chances of winning the prize. If you win, the prize will be credited to your account balance.

It’s fairly easy to do, but the drawback is, as you can see, there are no guaranteed earnings, unlike most other referral programs where you will usually receive a commission every time your referral earns on the site. That, in my opinion, is the more profitable referral program structure.
But nevertheless, 10 entries to their quarterly prize draw can improve your chances of winning.

How do you get paid?
For every survey you complete or quick chat you win, you will earn a certain amount, and it will be stored in your account balance. Then, when you’ve earned enough, you can claim various rewards.
You can claim various gift cards from Coles, Myer, and more if you’ve earned at least $5. You can also choose to withdraw your earnings via PayPal if you want to receive cash instead. But, to make PayPal withdrawals, you will need to earn at least $20. That’s also the only amount you can withdraw if you choose PayPal as the mode of payment.
You can also redeem EFTPOS gift cards if you’ve earned at least $23. And if you are feeling charitable, you can donate your earnings to any of the charities Your Opinion supports.
As for their quarterly prize draw, the grand prize is $1,000, which, as I’ve mentioned earlier, is a pretty significant amount. That’s why it can be worth it to answer their daily polls since you can win that kind of amount.

How much money can you make?
The amount you can earn from Your Opinion will mostly depend on how many surveys you can complete since the other earning opportunities don’t offer guaranteed earnings. And unfortunately, you don’t have any control over how many surveys will be made available for you.
The best thing you can do to improve your chances of receiving survey invites is to answer all their profile surveys immediately. In fact, I would suggest this is the first thing you do after you become a member of the site.
That way, Your Opinion will have more information about you and will be able to determine what kind of surveys to send your way as soon as possible. And the good thing about their profile surveys is, if you answer them, you will earn 10 entries to their quarterly prize draw (for each survey).
So, it’s not a total waste of time, which is a good thing. However, there’s one thing you need to keep in mind with Your Opinion. They actively try to avoid sending a lot of surveys to each member because they limit the number of surveys you can complete in a month.
They do this to avoid the “professional survey taker” issue which their clients are very concerned about. So, don’t expect to answer a lot of surveys from this site, which, in turn, makes their earning potential quite low, in my opinion.
The amount you can earn from each survey will also depend on how long the survey is. Usually, you will earn around $1 to $5 for every survey. If a survey offers more than that, expect it to take a bit of time to complete.
Can you use it on mobile?
Your Opinion doesn’t have a mobile app you can use, but you can still access their website from a mobile device by using a mobile web browser. And the good thing is that their site is mobile-friendly. So you won’t have to zoom in to read the content properly.
That’s why I would say that Your Opinion is very convenient to use since you can basically just answer polls from your mobile device. And if you ever receive survey invites, you can still conveniently answer them even if you are not in front of your computer.
