Cash Cow App Review: Legit or Scam? (Full Details)

Cash Cow Rating

Cash Cow is not worth your time. It simply doesn’t provide any reason for you to use it. It doesn’t have a lot of earning opportunities, and it offers very low rewards, so it will take a long time to earn a decent amount.

Cash Cow is a mobile app that claims you can earn money by playing games.

Over the years, I have tested hundreds of apps like Cash Cow, so I know, based on experience, that most of them are not worth your time, and some are not even legit.

So, the question now is, is it legit or just another scam?

In this Cash Cow app review, I will not only address that concern but also reveal the full details of what it offers, so you will know exactly what to expect from it.

Then, you can properly identify if it is worth your time or not. So, let’s dive in.

What is Cash Cow, and what does it offer?

Cash Cow is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will let you earn by playing mobile games. It is legit since you can really earn rewards from it. However, it doesn’t immediately mean you should use it.

To figure out if it is worth your time, you must first understand how it works. And to do that, we must take a look at the earning opportunities it offers, so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort is needed to earn from it.

So, here’s how to earn from Cash Cow.

Option 1 – Playing Mobile Games

The main way to earn from Cash Cow is by playing the mobile games it features. When you log in to the app, you will immediately see all the available games you can play. However, when I tested Cash Cow, there were not a lot of games available, so your earnings from this opportunity will be relatively limited.

To start the earning process, just pick a game you want to play and click it. Then, you’ll be asked to download and install it on your device. Once it is installed, you must go back to the Cash Cow app and click the My Library section.

You’ll now see the game you installed. This is a very important step you must remember. You must make sure that you open the game from Cash Cow and not directly from your phone’s menu because this is how Cash Cow can detect how long you’ve been playing the game.

Now, why is it important that Cash Cow knows how long you've been playing a game? That’s because you will earn a certain number of coins per minute of playing a game.

However, the longer you keep playing a game, the fewer coins you will earn. This system is designed to force you to try out different games if you want to maximize your earnings. It’s a very common system employed by this kind of app.

Now, there will come a time when you earn next to nothing while playing a game. When this happens, I recommend you move on to the next featured game (if there are any) to continue earning coins.

That’s all there is to it. It’s a relatively simple process, but the downside is that there aren’t a lot of interesting and fun games you can play, so it’s not the best earning opportunity, in my opinion.

Option 2 – Paid Surveys

You can supplement your earnings from playing games by answering paid surveys. But again, there are not a lot of surveys available, so your earnings from this opportunity are, again, very limited.

cash cow paid surveys
You can earn more rewards by answering surveys.

When you see a survey, just click it. Then, you’ll have to answer a set of qualifying questions so that the survey provider can determine if you are the right person for the survey. If you fail to qualify, you just move on to the next survey available (if there are any).

But if you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey. Once you’ve completed the survey, you will receive the promised coins as a reward.

However, I did notice something strange while testing it. As you can see in the photo above, it says you can earn a certain number of coins per minute by answering a survey. Based on my experience, surveys don’t usually pay by the minute but reward you with fixed rewards. So, this detail is a bit confusing in my opinion.

I do have to be honest, I wasn’t able to find out how it rewards you because, as mentioned, there weren’t a lot of surveys available. And when I answered the surveys, I never qualified for any of them. But regardless of how it rewards you, the bottom line is that you’ll only earn if you manage to complete a survey, which will be quite hard to do since there aren’t a lot of them available.

Option 3 – Referral Program

Cash Cow also had a referral program when I first tested it. However, there's one huge update about this opportunity when I checked the app after a year since I first tested it.

I found out that its referral program is no longer available.

So it is no longer a way to earn, but I still wanted to mention it here as some people have been asking about it.

How do you get paid?

All the earning opportunities Cash Cow offers will reward you with coins. But the question is, what can you do with the points you’ve earned?

Earlier, I mentioned that you can supposedly earn cash from it, but when I tested the app, that didn’t seem like the case.

The only type of reward you can redeem is discounts for various stores.

The only rewards you can redeem using the coins you’ve earned are discounts for various stores like Amazon, Sephora, Zalora, and more. Some members say that they were able to redeem cash via PayPal before, but that was not an option while I was testing it.

So, it’s either Cash Cow removed it as an option, or it is only available in certain countries. However, since the first time I tested the app, it now offers PayPal and other gift cards as a reward. The threshold required will still depend on your country and the reward you want to redeem.

Its payout system has become a bit better, in my opinion, and I like the fact that it now offers PayPal as an option. If you are interested in more sites that use this payout method, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal as well.

How much money can you make?

I will say right now that you will not earn a lot from Cash Cow because it offers very low rewards. Plus, the earning opportunities it offers are quite limited, which is quite surprising for a GPT app, in my opinion.

This is why it is not something I would recommend to someone else, because it will take a very long time before you can earn a significant amount from it. This is why I would say its earning potential is very low. You’ll have to invest a lot of time just to earn a decent amount from it.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Cash Cow is a mobile-only platform, so you will need to use a mobile device to earn from it. As for the app, it is only available to Android users, so if you are an iOS user, I suggest you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

The app will only work with Android devices.

The app is relatively easy to use, and you won’t encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using it. The overall user experience it provides is generally decent, in my opinion, but the design of its user interface seems a bit outdated.

Who can join Cash Cow?

The app doesn’t tell you which countries it is available in, but from what I can see, it is available more or less worldwide. To make sure it is available in your country, just try searching for it on Google Play. If it appears among the results, then that means it is available in your country.

It used to be that you could sign up using your Google account or your email address. However, as of updating this review, you won't have to go through a registration process after installing the app. You'll just be asked to set your age and gender, and you're good to go.

It's a simpler process, but it also means your account will be locked to the device you installed the app on, which is not ideal, in my opinion.

Can you get support?

The app doesn’t have a FAQ or Support section you can check out, so if you have any questions, you must get in touch with the support team to resolve them. The problem is that the app doesn’t provide a contact form you can use to submit your questions.

I had to check their Google Play page just to find the contact information for their support department. Apparently, you can send your inquiries via email directly to contact@appstation.online.

Overall, I would say it doesn’t provide great support to its members since it doesn’t even have a FAQ or Help section you can check out. Plus, it doesn’t even provide any contact information inside the app, which almost makes it appear like they don’t want to entertain any inquiries, in my opinion.

Final Verdict

Cash Cow is a GPT app that will reward you for playing mobile games and answering surveys. It doesn’t have a lot of upsides, just a few glaring drawbacks.

Let me finish this review by summarizing its pros and cons so you can get a clear overview of what it offers. Then, you can understand why it is not something I would recommend you go for.

pros

Pros:

  • Available more or less worldwide
cons

Cons:

  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Doesn’t provide good support
  • Low rewards

In my opinion, Cash Cow is not worth your time. Even with the changes, it simply doesn’t provide any reason for you to use it. It doesn’t have a lot of earning opportunities, and it offers low rewards. Plus, it doesn’t provide good support to its members.

You are better off using other apps or sites to earn extra cash. For a list of these sites and apps, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country. The apps and sites on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount pretty quickly.

  1. I earned coins by playing app games from Cash Cow. Then I couldn’t find PayPal and Binance account was an option there and I wanted to cash out my rewards with my coins. Then Binance asked for my Gmail ID. Then I gave my Gmail ID. Then my bonus went to my Gmail ID. But now I can’t get that bonus in my Binance account. Can you give me any solution for this? How can I get my bonus in my Binance account?
