Eureka Surveys Review – Legit Cash for Surveys? (Inside Look)

If you have been looking for a paid survey site that pays in cash, you have maybe come across Eureka Surveys.

But is Eureka Surveys legit, and can you earn cash as a member?

I decided to put it to the test and compare it to the hundreds of other paid survey sites I have tested. And let me just reveal right away that it is a legit site that does pay.

But that does not necessarily mean it is the right survey site for YOU. There are several details you need to consider to find out.

This Eureka Surveys review will give you an inside look and show exactly how it works and what it offers so you can easily find out if you should join or not.

What is Eureka Surveys, and what does it offer?

Eureka Surveys started as a survey app but has recently also launched a website so you can take surveys on most devices as a member (more about this later).

And let me just reveal right away that Eureka Surveys is a legit survey site. I have been paid by it myself, as you can see in the video below.

This does, however, not mean it will be the right site for you to join. So, let's dig deeper so you can see exactly what to expect and how it works.

Option 1 – Paid Surveys

The main way to earn on Eureka Surveys is, not surprisingly, to take surveys.

Once you log in, you can immediately see the available surveys and how much you will get for the surveys.

As you can see in the image above, you can also see how long each survey approximately is.

The rewards will vary from survey to survey, but in general, the rewards are quite decent for a survey site. And you are guaranteed to earn a minimum of $1 for the very first survey you complete after joining.

In my experience, the time estimate is fairly accurate, and the rewards you get per survey are quite good compared to many other survey sites.

And you can find a good number of available surveys here more or less every day. But you will find the most Monday-Friday.

As on most other survey sites, you will not qualify for all the surveys. But they do have a quite high qualification rate, so it does not take as much patience to qualify as it does on some other survey sites.

Eureka Surveys also offer a nice extra touch that not many sites do – you will get paid when there is a survey you do not qualify for.

You will get 2 cents every time you do not qualify. It is not life-changing money, but, in my opinion, it is still a nice touch, and it makes it less frustrating when there is a survey you do not qualify for.

And it can be hard to find survey sites that give a disqualification bonus, so it is a plus that it offers this.

Option 2 – Daily Polls

You also get access to a daily poll on Eurekasurveys.com.

It is a very short question, and you can see an example in the image below.

It only takes one second to answer, and you will then get 1 cent.

So the reward is not huge but you also only have to spend 1 second. So, if you decide to become a member, it can be worth doing the daily poll, in my opinion.

Also, as soon as you have answered, you will see an overview of how other members have answered, and this can be quite interesting.

As the name suggests, you can take this poll daily, and there will be a new one every day.

Option 3 – Joining Bonus

When you join Eureka Surveys, you will be able to earn your first $1 very easily.

You just have to take a welcome survey, which is more like a short tutorial, and then you will get $1 into your account right away.

It only takes a couple of minutes at the most to take this welcome survey and get $1 right away. It is a great start and will take you fairly close to the payout threshold, which we will talk more about next.

How do you get paid?

As you can see, Eureka Surveys is fairly easy to use and offers some good survey opportunities.

But before deciding if it is the right site for you or not, you, of course, need to know how you can get paid.

You get paid in cash for every survey you complete, and you can see the earnings in your account right after having completed a survey.

Once you have earned $10, you can then redeem your earnings via PayPal.

As long as you have done everything honestly, you can expect to get your money instantly, which is great, in my opinion.

On some sites, you have to wait several days (or in some cases weeks) to get your money, but that is luckily not the case on Eureka Surveys.

At the moment of writing this review, the only way you can get paid is via PayPal. But I have been told when I talked to their support that they will also introduce gift cards as a reward soon. They also have the option in the reward section, but there are just not yet any gift cards to choose from – at least that is the case for me.

Overall, I think the payout methods and payout conditions on Eureka Surveys are great, and they make it easy for you to get your earnings as a survey site should. How much money can you make?

Eureka Surveys offers quite a lot of surveys, and they also pay quite well for the surveys compared to some other sites.

So it can be a way to make some nice extra cash on the side by sharing your opinion.

But if you are looking for a way to make a living online, this is not the right option for you. In fact, paid surveys are not the right option for you, in general, if you want to make a living online.

It can give some nice extra cash, it can be fun, and you will have your opinion heard, but you just need to do it with the right expectations.

Can you use it on mobile?

As mentioned earlier, Eureka Surveys started as a survey app. It started as an iOS app but has since expanded and now also has an Android app (and a website).

So you can download the Eureka Surveys app both in the App Store and Google Play. And as you know, you can also take the surveys on their website.

A small tip if you decide to download the app is to turn on your location, as that can give you access to more surveys.

Also, if you turn on notifications, you will be told when there are new high-paying surveys available, and that will increase your chances of getting to the surveys before they fill up, as each survey usually has a maximum number of needed participants.

Who can join Eureka Surveys?

It is not very clear when you first come to Eureka Surveys' website who can join.

But it is only available if you live in the US. But if you live in the US, you should make sure to also check out the best survey sites in the US, as Eureka alone will not give that many opportunities to earn.

I have been told that they might also open up for the UK at some point. But at the moment of writing this review, you can only join if you live in the USA, and it has been like that for a few years, so I'm not sure if it will ever happen.

Can you get support?

Being able to get support is important on any survey site, in my opinion. You need to know that you can get help if you have problems with your account in any way.

And luckily you can get support as a member of Eureka Surveys. You need to send them an email at support@eurekasurveys.com.

Their goal is to reply within 2 days, but I have been in contact with them several times, and, in my experience, you will often get a reply faster than that. So the support is good, which is a big plus.

Final verdict

As you can see, Eureka Surveys is a legit survey site. But that does not mean it is necessarily the right option for you.

So, let's finish this review with a summary of the pros and cons so you can get a good overview before deciding if you should join or not.

Honestly, there were not a lot of cons I could find about Eureka Surveys when I tested it.

It is easy to use, has a good number of surveys, it pays decently per survey, and you can get paid in cash.

The only thing is that it would be great if they made it more clear on the website who can join. And there are not a huge number of earning opportunities.

Overall, I would say that if you live in the US and are looking for an extra survey site or app, then Eureka Surveys can be worth considering, in my opinion. You can join it here.
