One way to earn a decent amount of extra money online is to join survey sites. All you have to do is answer a few questions and you automatically get paid. That’s a pretty easy way, right?
Well, that is, unfortunately, not always the case as it can take a lot of patience to earn on some sites.
The main reason for this is that you won’t always get to earn for every survey you get invited to answer. Survey sites will actually screen its respondents to find out if they are really included in the demographic group the survey is intended for and you will therefore not always qualify.
It can be frustrating but it’s part of the process and something you can’t avoid. However, there are some survey sites that actually still pay you even if you get disqualified. So, you can say your time wasn’t completely wasted because you still earn something.
This guide is meant to help you figure out the best survey sites that offer a disqualification bonus. That way, even if you fail to qualify for a survey, you will still earn something.
All the sites I will be including in this guide are legit and free to join. All you need to do is sign up and you can start earning right away.

As mentioned above, survey sites will screen you first before they will actually let you answer the survey. But why do they need to do this?
Well, the main reason for this is they want to make sure their clients who actually ordered and paid for the survey, will be able to get useful and appropriate data. You see, the data gathered from these surveys will be used to make decisions regarding products and/or services.
For example, let’s say a detergent company hired a survey site to create a survey for the detergent they are selling. The survey site will then have to make sure the people who will answer the survey are people who actually do the laundry or those that actually do the shopping for detergent.
Otherwise, the data they will collect will be useless since the people answering the survey can’t really provide useful or relevant answers. This is the whole reason why survey sites will screen their respondents first before they will allow them to answer the actual survey.
How to earn the most?
Now, in order to earn the most from these survey sites, you have to answer as honestly as you can. Survey sites value honesty above everything else because they really want to make sure their clients get quality answers.
Most of their systems (the good ones anyway) are designed to recognize if you are just answering randomly so you can finish the survey as soon as possible or if you are really taking the survey seriously and answering it honestly.
But aside from taking all surveys seriously, another thing you can do to maximize your earnings from these sites it to participate in all the earning opportunities they offers. Many survey sites offer other ways for you to earn in addition to paid surveys, like referral programs, paid offers, or even contests.
And lastly, you should join around 5 to 7 sites as you will then get access to more earning opportunities but without getting too overwhelmed with what you need to do. This is a great starting point if you are just getting into survey sites.
Later on, when you feel you can handle more sites, you can then join more so you can earn more rewards.
9 best survey sites that offer a disqualification bonus
The sites I will include on this list aren’t the only sites that offer a disqualification bonus. Instead, these are the sites that I think are worth your time based on my experience after having tested hundreds of paid survey sites.
They are also relatively user-friendly and they offer convenient payment methods. I will keep updating this list so make sure to bookmark this page and check back from time to time for new opportunities.
Available in: Available in 32 countries from Asia, Australia, Europe, America, and Africa Payout methods: PayPal Payout threshold: $5 More information:Read full Viewfruit review
Short summary: Viewfruit is a good survey site that will allow you to earn by answering surveys, creating polls, inviting other people to join the site, and joining contests. What’s great about this survey site is, if you get disqualified for a survey, you will instead earn 1 entry for their prize draw.
Their prize draws offer some great prizes, for example, an iPhone, Kindle, or extra cash. The exact rewards change from time to time and will depend on your country though. And speaking of countries, it is available in 32 countries from Asia, Australia, Europe, America, and Africa.
It also has a low payout threshold of $5, so you can easily withdraw your earnings. Once you hit the threshold, you can withdraw your earnings via PayPal.
Short summary: Another good survey site you can join is called Univox Community. This survey site is available more or less worldwide, so you can join regardless of where you live. It offers several earning opportunities aside from paid surveys.
You can join contests, invite people to join the site, and claim bonuses from time to time. Their disqualification bonus is $0.05, which can definitely help relieve some of the frustration for not qualifying and it can help you reach their payout threshold a bit faster.
And speaking of payout threshold, theirs is quite low ($10). So, you won’t have to wait that long to withdraw your earnings. Once you reach the threshold, you can withdraw it via PayPal or you can convert it to a prepaid Mastercard or gift card. And if you join through the link below, you will also receive a joining bonus of $2 once you have filled out your profile.
Available in: Most opportunities in the US, UK, Canada, Australia Payout methods: PayPal Payout threshold: $15 More info:Read full PaidViewpoint review
Short summary: PaidViewpoint is one of the better survey sites out there. The main reason for this is, PaidViewpoint will never offer you a survey you will not qualify for. So, you won’t get disqualified and therefore I have added it to this list even though you do not as such get a bonus when you do not qualify – you just simply always qualify.
The only downside to this kind of system is, you won’t be invited to answer surveys often. But at least, once you do get invited, you are guaranteed to earn. Their threshold is $15, but they do pay a decent amount for every survey you answer. So, you won’t have a hard time reaching the threshold.
In theory, you can join from any country, but you will only really find surveys here if you live in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.
Available in: UK Payout methods: PayPal, gift cards, prepaid Mastercard Payout threshold: £20 for PayPal and gift cards, £50 for prepaid Mastercard More info:Read full InboxPounds review
Short summary: InboxPounds is more of a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site rather than a survey site really. That’s because it offers multiple ways for you to earn. Aside from answering surveys, you can also complete paid offers, read emails, join their contests, download apps, and more to earn rewards.
It does have a relatively high payout threshold of £20 for PayPal and gift cards, which is more than I would prefer, but since it offers plenty of ways for you to earn, you won’t have a hard time reaching the threshold.
The threshold is even higher if you choose to redeem a prepaid Mastercard (£50). The site is only for UK residents though. So, if you don’t live in the UK, then this site is not for you. As for their disqualification bonus, you will earn a “Spin the Wheel” entry where you can win prizes like Survey Tokens worth £0.06 and £0.03 or Cash Bonuses at £5.00, £1.00, and £0.01. You can only spin 10 times per day though.
Available in: United States, Canada, and Australia Payout methods: PayPal, gift cards Payout threshold: $5 More information:Read full Survey Junkie review
Short summary: Survey Junkie is a survey site that is available in the US, Canada, and Australia. Aside from answering surveys online, you can also earn from this site by testing products, participating in focus groups, and doing phone surveys.
If you get disqualified for a survey, you will still receive $0.03, which isn’t bad, in my opinion. But what makes this a good site to join is really its low payout threshold of $5. You won’t have to wait very long to withdraw your earnings.
Once you reach the threshold, you can then withdraw your earnings via PayPal or convert them to gift cards. So, it’s pretty easy to get to the threshold the first time.
Available in: More or less worldwide Payout methods: PayPal, gift cards Payout threshold: $5 More info:Read full Poll Pay review
Short summary: Poll Pay is a survey site where you can earn by answering surveys and getting referrals. If you end up not qualifying for a survey, you will still receive a $0.01 disqualification bonus. It’s not much, but at least it’s something.
It has a low payout threshold of $5 and when you reach it, you can withdraw it via PayPal. In some countries, you can also redeem gift cards instead. It is available more or less worldwide. So, compatibility won’t really be an issue.
Poll Pay also has an app that is very user-friendly, so you won’t have a hard time getting used to how it works.
Short summary: Eureka Surveys is another survey app and website where you can earn simply by answering surveys or polls. You can also earn by inviting other people to join.
It’s a fairly straightforward app and website. When you fail to qualify for a survey, you will still receive $0.02. It only pays via PayPal but their support team told me they are planning to add gift cards as a reward option.
You can withdraw your earnings once you’ve earned $10, which is a relatively low threshold, in my opinion. It is only available in the US, though. But the app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Short summary: The Panel Station is a fairly straightforward survey site. You answer surveys to earn points. You can then use the points to redeem various gift cards. If you fail to qualify for a survey, you will instead receive 20 points.
The disqualification bonus isn’t much and just to give you perspective, 1,000 points is equivalent to around $1.5. But it is still good that you receive something when you do not qualify for a survey, in my opinion.
Their threshold is around $5, but to be specific, you will need to earn at least 3,000 points before you can redeem a gift card. The availability of gift cards will also depend on the country you live. If you want to know which countries, it is available in, just click the link to the review above.
Available in: Depends on the site it is offered on Payout methods: Depends on the site it is offered on Payout threshold: Depends on the site it is offered on More info:Read full TheoremReach review
Short summary: TheoremReach isn’t really your typical survey site. It is technically a survey router. It is being offered as a way to earn rewards on many GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites. How good TheoremReach is will mostly depend on the site you will join that offers it as a survey router.
That’s because the rewards you will earn from TheoremReach surveys can only be redeemed from the GPT site it is being offered from. The same goes for the payout threshold required to redeem rewards as well as the payment method being offered.
It does have a disqualification bonus, but again, it will mostly depend on which site you are taking TheoremReach surveys. Usually, it will be a certain number of points, in my experience. But don’t expect it to be a very significant number. If you are going to convert it to cash, it will usually only be around $0.01.
So that wraps up the guide for the best survey sites that offer a disqualification bonus. Keep in mind that all the sites listed are legit and free to join. So, just sign up and you can start earning right away.
As I’ve recommended earlier, you should join around 5-7 of the sites to gain access to more earning opportunities. You can always join more later on when you feel like you can handle more workload. I will keep updating this list if there are any new good sites to join so make sure to bookmark this page.
If you have any comments, questions, or know of survey sites that offer a disqualification bonus that is not on the list, I would love to hear from you in a comment below.
