Opinion Edge Rating

Opinion Edge is a good survey site to join. If you are looking for a new survey site to join, I recommend you join this one because it has a good earning potential and is easy to use.

Opinion Edge is a site that claims you can earn rewards by sharing your opinion. Over the years, I have tested hundreds of survey sites and apps that offer the same earning opportunity, so I know that not all of them are worth it or even legit.

Now, the question is, is Opinion Edge legit and worth it?

In this Opinion Edge review, I will show you everything it has to offer so you will know exactly what to expect from it before you even sign up.

Then, you can make an informed decision on whether you should join this platform or not.

What is Opinion Edge, and what does it offer?

Opinion Edge is a relatively new survey site that will let you earn rewards by answering surveys. And yes, it is a legit site since it will really pay you. I know as I have been paid by it myself, and you can also see payment proof in the video below.

However, that doesn’t mean it is necessarily worth joining for you. If you want to figure out if you should join, you must first understand how it works.

And to do that, we must take a look at the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear picture of how much time and effort is needed to earn from it. The video below explains exactly how the earning opportunities of Opinion Edge work. You can also read the full details below the video.

Option 1 – Paid Surveys

The main way to earn from Opinion Edge is to answer paid surveys. When you log in to the member dashboard, you can view all the available surveys by clicking on the My Surveys link.

You can earn rewards by answering paid surveys.

When I was testing Opinion Edge, there were a good number of surveys available, so you will almost always find opportunities to earn, which is a good thing, in my opinion.

Each survey will tell you the reward you will earn, as well as the estimated time it will take to finish it.

To start earning, just pick a survey you want to answer and click it. Then, you’ll go through a set of qualifying questions so that Opinion Edge can find out if you are included in the demographic the survey was made for. This is to ensure that Opinion Edge’s clients will get useful data from the surveys.

If you qualify, you get to answer the survey. If you fail to qualify, you’ll just have to move on to the next survey available. But the good news is that you will still receive a small compensation if you get disqualified (2 to 10 points).

Not a lot of survey sites do this, so it’s a good thing because your time won’t be completely wasted. Now, if you manage to complete the survey, you will receive the promised number of points as a reward. Later, I will discuss what you can do with the points you’ve earned.

Option 2 – Referral Program

The other way to earn from Opinion Edge is through its referral program. It’s a common earning opportunity among survey sites, and the way it works is that you invite people to join the site by sharing your invite link with them via email.

You can invite other people to join to earn more rewards.

When the person you invite clicks the invite link and signs up as a member, they will become your referral. Opinion Edge says you’ll immediately receive 20 points as a reward, but based on my experience, there are usually additional requirements your referral must meet for you to earn the reward.

Usually, they’ll have to complete a survey or verify their email address, and then that’s the time you’ll receive the reward.

The most important thing you need to remember is that the people you should invite are those who are really interested in earning from Opinion Edge. Otherwise, this opportunity will be a bit useless because you won’t earn anything.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you’ll earn a certain number of points for every survey you complete and referral you get. But what can you do with the points you’ve earned?

Well, you can use them to redeem a Tango gift card.

You can redeem Tango cards using the points you've earned.

As of writing this review, this is the only reward option Opinion Edge offers, but I managed to get in touch with them and asked them what their plans were for their payment methods, and they did say that they are planning to add PayPal as a payment method, in the future.

Now, to redeem a reward, you’ll need to earn a specific number of points depending on your membership level. You see, Opinion Edge has three membership levels available, and you will start at level 1.

opinion edge membership level
The threshold you need to hit to redeem a reward will depend on your membership level.

As a level 1 member, you will need to earn at least 1,500 points to redeem a $15 Tango card. If you reach level 2, you’ll only need to earn 1,000 points to redeem a reward. Finally, if you reach level 3, you’ll only need to earn 500 points to redeem a Tango gift card worth $5.

To level up your membership level, you just need to keep answering surveys. Opinion Edge does reveal exactly how many surveys you need to complete before you can reach the next level.

Overall, the payment system of Opinion Edge is relatively straightforward. Although, you need to be a bit patient in the beginning because the threshold is a bit high when you first join. But if you keep being an active member, you’ll eventually be able to redeem rewards a lot quicker.

Now, if you prefer to withdraw your earnings quickly right from the start, I suggest you check out the fastest paying sites instead.

How much money can you make?

The amount you can earn from Opinion Edge will depend on how active you are on the site. As mentioned earlier, there’s a fairly good number of surveys available at any given time, so you will find plenty of opportunities to earn.

As for how much you will earn per survey, that would depend on the length of the survey. For the surveys that take about 10 minutes to complete, you’ll usually earn 50 to 100 points. For surveys that take more than 15 to 20 minutes to complete, you’ll earn around 150 to 200 points.

It’s really quite varied. Some surveys pay well, while some surveys don’t pay a lot. But overall, I would say the earning potential of Opinion Edge is pretty good, mainly because there are a good number of surveys available at any given time.

Can you use it on mobile?

Another good thing about Opinion Edge is that it has a mobile app you can download so you can answer surveys conveniently using your mobile device. So, you don’t actually have to sit in front of a computer to earn from Opinion Edge.

opinion edge app
The Opinion Edge app is available to both Android and iOS users.

As for the app, it will work with both Android and iOS devices, so compatibility won’t be an issue. Its user interface is also quite intuitive, so you will easily be able to navigate it. The overall user experience it provides is quite good, in my opinion.

And if you are planning to maximize your earnings from Opinion Edge, I highly recommend you also install the app because you can then answer surveys anytime and anywhere.

Who can join Opinion Edge?

Opinion Edge is available in many countries, but most of the opportunities will be for people who live in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

However, they did say when I contacted them that they are planning to add more countries to the list soon. So, by the time you read this review, it might already be available in the country you live in, even if you live in another country.

Can you get support?

The only slight drawback of Opinion Edge is that it doesn’t have a FAQ or Help page you can check out if you have questions about the site or your account. However, you can easily get in touch with its support team by sending your inquiries via email at support@opinion-edge.com.

You can also use the contact form provided by the website to submit your inquiries. Overall, I would say the site does provide decent support since it offers a couple of convenient ways for you to contact support. Plus, the support team is fairly quick to respond as well, based on my experience.

Final Verdict

Opinion Edge is a legit survey site that will let you earn rewards by answering surveys. It has a couple of good features, but it also has some limitations you need to consider.

To help you with your decision, I have summarized its pros and cons so you can get a clear overview of what Opinion Edge has to offer.

pros

Pros:

  • Has a decent number of surveys available at any given time
  • The site and app are both user-friendly
  • You get a reward even when you do not qualify for a survey
  • Pays fairly well compared to many other survey sites
cons

Cons:

  • Doesn’t offer cash rewards as of writing this review
  • Some surveys don’t pay that well

In my opinion, Opinion Edge is a good survey site to join. If you are looking for a new survey site to join, I would recommend you join this one (as long as you are eligible, of course) because it has a good earning potential.

Plus, its member dashboard and mobile app are both user-friendly. Just keep in mind that it only currently offers Tango cards as a reward. However, they do say that they plan to add PayPal soon, so it’s something to be excited about if you are looking to earn cash.

Now, if you are interested in more survey sites with good earning potential, or if you are not eligible to join Opinion Edge yet, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead.

The sites on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount in no time. Plus, you will definitely find a site you can join regardless of where you live.

  1. Hi, When I receive email and log on to surveys I am told the site isn’t private and could be stealing my information passwords, messages, credid card. Also I have 1355 points and when I try to cash in for £10 or £5 I am told I do not have enough points

    • The payout threshold starts higher when you first join, as I explain in the review above. If you have any technical problems, you need to contact their support.

  2. Hi Mikael,
First, they delayed delivering the withdrawal card. But their support was fine, so we received our cards from the support team. Now their support team hasn’t responded to our emails. What’s going on with this site? Can you please tell?
It’s been 15 days since I last requested a withdrawal, and their support didn’t reply to my query.

    • I do not know your exact situation, so I cannot say. But if you do everything honestly, you should be fine. But only their support can help you, so if you have not heard back from them after 15 days, I suggest you contact them again.

      • I also emailed them seven days ago, but yet they didn’t reply. My withdrawal is still showing as pending that I made on January 30, 2024.

        • Which country do you live in? And have you used VPN to take surveys? because if you have, it is fraud and you will get banned and then they will not get back to you.

          Reply
          • In USA. If they banned me, then why did they send me the survey request through my email? There are lots of surveys on my dashboard that I can do. How can I know they banned me?

          • It is just because your comment here shows that it is not coming from the US, so if you are actually in the US, then something is strange with your connection. If that is the case, then the survey site will likely see this as a flag also.

If you are actually located in the US, then you need to contact them about this with proof likely. But first you need to make sure to look into your connection.

I cannot really do anything else than suggest that as I do not know the details and do not have access to look into anything like that. Hope you find a solution. Keep me updated.
