Monami Review – Worth It? (Pros & Cons Revealed)

Monami Rating

Monami is not for everyone. If your goal is to find a platform where you can immediately earn money or crypto that has monetary value, then this is not for you since it is still in its early stages, so its token doesn’t have any monetary value yet.

I have recently come across a platform that supposedly lets you turn your unused internet bandwidth into real rewards. It’s called Monami, and it is fairly new.

Now, the big question is, is it worth it?

In this Monami review, I will give you an inside look at how it works, so you will know exactly what to expect from it before you even sign up. I will also reveal the pros and cons of the platform, so you will know if you should go for it or not.

So, let’s dive in, shall we?

What is Monami, and what does it offer?

As mentioned above, Monami is a platform that lets you earn rewards by sharing your unused internet bandwidth. It’s similar to another platform called Pawns, with slight differences. And yes, it is legit, since you can really earn rewards from it.

However, that doesn’t immediately mean you should hit the sign-up button. The best way to find out if it is worth it is to understand how it works. And the only way to achieve that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers, so you will have a clear idea of how good it is.

So, here’s how to earn from Monami.

Option 1 – Mining

The primary way to earn from Monami is by sharing your unused internet bandwidth through mining. You can do this by logging in to the member dashboard.

how to earn from monami
You have to mine by sharing your unused internet bandwidth through a web browser to earn rewards.

Once you are in the dashboard, just go to the Total Nodes section (refer to the photo above) and click the Connect button. This will start the mining process, where you will be sharing your unused internet bandwidth through your browser.

If you close the browser tab, the mining will stop, and you’ll have to click the Connect button again to resume the mining process. That’s all you need to do, which makes it a passive form of earning.

Now, as a new member, you’ll be given one free Lite Node, but if you want to increase your mining rate, you can buy Lite Nodes using crypto. The price of one Lite Node will vary because the value of cryptocurrencies fluctuates, so don’t expect it to have a fixed price.

When I was testing Monami, one Lite Node was priced around $35, which is a bit on the expensive side, in my opinion. Now, it’s not exactly clear how much your mining rate will be increased per Lite Node you purchase, but the site does say it significantly increases your mining rate, which kind of makes sense.

But, in my opinion, they should be clear about exactly how much it will increase, so you can calculate if it will be worth it. If not, it just becomes suspicious.

When you are mining, you will earn Monami tokens, which are the native token of the Monami Network. As mentioned, it’s a new platform, so don’t expect Monami tokens to have monetary value just yet.

This is why you need to understand that you are not exactly earning money yet from this platform. But if the Monami token ever starts being traded in the market, then that’s the time you can convert your Monami tokens to money or other cryptocurrencies.

Option 2 – Referral Program

The other way to earn from Monami is by inviting other people to join the platform. You can do this by sharing your referral link or code with them. Then, when they click your link and sign up for the platform, they will become your referral.

monami referral program
You can earn more rewards through its referral program.

As a reward, both you and your referral will receive 10 Monami tokens. Aside from that, you’ll receive a 5% commission when your referral buys Lite Nodes from the platform. Later, I will discuss how you can receive your commission when your referral buys Lite Nodes.

It’s a relatively generous reward, in my opinion, since you will earn a reward as soon as the person you invited signs up through your link or uses your code when they register.

But again, I have to reiterate that the reward you will earn won’t have any monetary value yet (since you’ll only be getting Monami tokens).

How do you get paid?

As explained above, the earning opportunities Monami offers will reward you with Monami tokens. This is the native cryptocurrency of the Monami Network, and as of the writing of this review, it is still not being publicly traded, which means it doesn’t have any monetary value yet.

So, technically speaking, you won’t get paid. As for the commission you will receive from your referrals when they buy Lite Nodes, the platform will let you connect a compatible crypto wallet (refer to the photo below).

monami payout options
You can withdraw your earnings to any of the supported crypto wallets.

As you can see in the photo above, you have four options: Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, and WalletConnect. This means your commission from the referral program will be converted to a crypto of your choice.

Now, if you prefer sites or apps that will let you earn cryptocurrencies that already have monetary value, then your best option is to check out the top sites that will let you earn Bitcoin for free.

But if you prefer to earn cash, I suggest you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal instead.

How much money can you make?

It’s hard to gauge the amount you can earn from Monami because, as mentioned, the Monami token doesn’t have any monetary value yet as of the writing of this review. As for the amount of Monami tokens you can mine, that will depend on how many Lite Nodes you have.

As explained earlier, you’ll get one free Lite Node when you sign up. However, this will only let you mine at the lowest rate. So, if you stick to this free node, the earning potential of the platform will be quite low.

And if you decide to buy more Lite Nodes, it will cost a significant amount, and there’s no guarantee you will earn back the money you spent. That being said, if the value of the Monami token is very high when and if it launches, then you might have struck gold, so to speak.

This is why I would consider Monami as an investment and not really a way to earn crypto. And as you probably already know, all investments come with a risk, and something like this can especially be seen as a risky investment, in my opinion. But it’s up to you if you want to take that risk or not.

Can you use it on mobile?

Monami is only currently applicable to web browsers for your computer. So, to answer the question above, NO, you can’t.

But who knows, it might become available to mobile devices soon. Only time will tell.

Who can join Monami?

The website doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. So, you should be able to sign up as a member anywhere in the world.

how to join monami
You can sign up using your email address or Google account.

To sign up, you can use your email address, or you can also use your Google account. After registering, you can log in to the member dashboard and start earning.

However, before you do so, I suggest you connect your crypto wallet. That way, you won’t have to worry about how you will receive your referral commissions in the future. But, as a rule of thumb, if you connect your wallet to anything like this, make sure to use a fresh wallet and not your main wallet, just to be on the safe side.

It’s a very straightforward registration process, which was actually quite surprising, in my opinion. Most of the platforms I have tested, which are similar to Monami, usually require additional steps like verifying your identity to register. This is called a KYC (Know Your Customer) process and is usually required when dealing with crypto.

Monami does not currently ask for this, but since Monami is relatively new, my guess is that they will implement the KYC process at some point in the future when you can withdraw your Monami tokens.

Can you get support?

As of the writing of this review, the website still doesn’t have a Help or FAQ section you can check out. All it has is a “How it works” section. It’s not surprising since it is a fairly new platform.

However, it would still have been better if the website had at least provided a Support section for potential members to check out. That would make the overall user experience a bit more pleasant, in my opinion.

Now, if you have questions, you’ll need to join its Discord channel to submit your inquiries because this is the only way to communicate with a representative. To join its Discord channel, you must log in to the dashboard first.

Overall, I would say it does provide the minimum required support since it offers a way for you to ask for assistance. However, it would still have been better if it had a Support section you could check out or a contact form you could use to contact support.

Final Verdict

Monami is a platform that will let you earn Monami tokens passively by sharing your unused internet bandwidth. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has some limitations you must consider.

To help you with your decision, here’s a summary of its pros and cons, so you can see a clear overview of what it offers.

pros

Pros:

  • Offers a passive form of earning
  • Has a very simple registration process
cons

Cons:

  • Doesn’t currently offer monetary rewards
  • Doesn’t have a Help or FAQ page
  • You have to pay to earn, and you do not yet know if you will get a return on your money

In my opinion, Monami is not for everyone. If your goal is to find a platform where you can immediately earn money or crypto that has monetary value, then this is not for you. Monami is still in its early stages, so its token doesn’t have any monetary value yet.

But if you are looking for an investment, it can be an option. Just make sure that you understand the risks before you dive in, and make sure to do your own research.

Now, if you are looking for a surefire way to earn crypto, I suggest you check out the top sites that will let you earn Bitcoin for free instead.

But if you prefer to earn cash regularly, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead.

The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount in a short time. Plus, most (if not all) of them offer cash rewards.
