BitDegree App Review – Worth It? (Details Explained)

BitDegree Rating

BitDegree is not that great, in my opinion. Mainly because of the low earning potential it offers. It also doesn’t help that the platform is not clear about its payout system and how much you earn.

BitDegree is a platform that claims it offers a fun and smart way to earn rewards.

But is it worth it, though?

I have tested many platforms like this over the years, so I have plenty of experience with what to look for.

In this BitDegree app review, I will explain in detail what it offers, so you will know exactly what to expect. That way, you can properly figure out if it is worth your time or not.

And let me tell you right now that there are some important details that other reviews online about this platform have failed to mention. So, let’s dive in.

What is BitDegree, and what does it offer?

BitDegree is a reward-based online platform where you can learn about crypto and Web3 concepts by completing bite-sized, interactive tasks called missions. And in case you are wondering – it is legit since you can really earn rewards from it.

But just because BitDegree sounds cool doesn’t mean it’s automatically worth your time. The only way to know if it’s a good fit is to see how it works and what kind of earning opportunities it offers.

The video below shows my testing of the app and explains exactly how it works. You can also read the full details below the video.

Option 1 – Missions

As mentioned above, you’ll have to complete missions to earn rewards. These missions are also the way you learn more about Web3 and the crypto industry, in general.

bitdegree missions
You will need to answer questions correctly to complete missions.

To start earning, just pick a mission to work on. These missions will ask you certain questions, and you must choose the correct answer to earn Bits, which is the currency BitDegree uses.

The good thing is that if you don’t know the answer, you can click the Search button at the bottom to look for the answer. There’s a 15-minute time limit for each mission, so you can’t leisurely look for the right answer.

If you have finished answering all the questions, BitDegree will give you another chance to answer the questions you missed. It will continue to do this until you answer all questions correctly. However, the more you repeat the questions, the lower your reward will be.

So, it is best to always give the correct answer the first time. After you finish the mission, the number of Bits you’ve earned will be revealed. The fewer tries it took to answer the questions correctly, the higher the reward you will receive.

So, don’t be in a rush when answering the questions. When I tested the app, 15 minutes was enough to answer all the questions of the mission correctly.

The best thing about this is that there are a lot of missions available, so you won’t run out of opportunities to earn.

Option 2 – Bonus Tasks

You can also earn additional Bits by completing bonus tasks. Just go to the Bonus section of the dashboard to see all the tasks available.

You can work on bonus tasks to earn more rewards.

As you can see in the photo above, most of the tasks will involve following the social media accounts of BitDegree and its partner platforms. After completing the task, you’ll receive the stated number of Bits as a reward.

The number of tasks available is quite limited, so your earnings from this opportunity will also be quite limited.

Option 3 – Referral Program

Lastly, you can earn rewards through its referral program. All you have to do is invite people to join the platform by sharing your referral link.

bitdegree referral program
You can invite people to join the platform to earn more rewards.

When they click the link and sign up as a member of BitDegree, they will become your referral. As a reward, you will receive 1,200 Bits. Your referral will also receive 400 Bits as a reward for using your referral link.

It’s a win-win situation for both parties, and if you’ve accumulated enough referrals, the tier of your referral program will increase, and you will receive a monthly bonus of up to 10,000 Bits (the highest tier).

If you want to maximize your earnings from BitDegree, you must focus on this opportunity, in my opinion. However, BitDegree is really not something I would recommend to my friends, and later, you will know why.

How do you get paid?

Now, here’s the part most reviewers don’t mention in their reviews.

The way BitDegree’s payout system works is that the Bits you’ve earned will be converted into shares of the crypto Airdrop that happens every season.

bitdegree payout method
You'll need to wait for the airdrop to receive your earnings.

However, as explained in the photo above, you’ll need to earn at least 10,000 Bits to be included in the Airdrop. If you fail to reach that number, you’ll have to wait next season for another chance at earning.

Once the Airdrop is distributed, which happens at the end of every season, you can withdraw your earnings (which will be in the form of USDC) to any crypto wallet like Binance or Coinbase.

If you think about it, it’s a simple process, but the problem is that BitDegree is not clear about how the sharing/staking system works (more on this later).

Now, a season can last a couple of months or so, which means it will take time before you can withdraw your earnings. Aside from that, there’s also no guarantee you’ll be included in the Airdrop, because as mentioned, you need to reach the threshold to be included.

So, if you prefer a site that will let you earn crypto easily, then I suggest you check out the best sites to earn Bitcoin for free instead.

How much money can you make?

The amount you can earn from BitDegree will mostly depend on how much time you are willing to invest in it. When I was testing the app, the highest amount a member earned from the previous Airdrop was $135 worth of USDC.

It might sound like a lot, but you have to keep in mind that this was earned in a couple of months or so, which makes it a small amount, in my opinion. Plus, as mentioned earlier, BitDegree is not clear about how its staking system for the Airdrop works, so you won’t know the value of the Bits you’ve earned until after the Airdrop happens.

So, you can’t really tell how much time the top earners spent on the platform and how many Bits they’ve accumulated to earn that kind of amount. But based on my experience testing the platform, it will take quite a long time to accumulate enough Bits to earn that kind of amount.

This is why I would consider its earning potential to be quite low, which is the reason why it’s not something I would recommend to my friends.

Can you use it on a desktop?

BitDegree’s member dashboard can also be accessed using a web-based browser, so you don’t actually need to install the app to earn from it. However, in my experience, it would be better to use the app instead of the web-based platform, because it is more convenient, in my opinion.

Plus, using the app will let you earn anytime and anywhere.

The app works on both Android and iOS devices.

As for the app, it works on both Android and iOS devices, so compatibility won’t be an issue. You also won’t encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using it, so the overall user experience it provides is generally pleasant.

Who can join BitDegree?

The site doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide (except in countries where crypto is banned).

how to join bitdegree
You must use your email address to sign up as a member.

To sign up, you can install the app or use the web-based platform. If you use the app, you must sign up using your email address. But if you use the web-based platform, you can also sign up using your MetaMask or Coinbase wallet.

After the registration process, you can log in and start earning immediately.

Can you get support?

BitDegree doesn’t have a Help or FAQ section, you can check out if you have questions. So, you’ll need to contact support for inquiries or concerns. To do so, you’ll need to send your inquiry via email to hello@bitdegree.org.

You can also join its Discord channel if you want to interact with a representative or other members. Overall, while it does provide a way for you to ask for help, it would have been better if the website at least had a Help or FAQ section that discusses everything you need to know about the platform.

That would significantly reduce the instances of having to contact support, in my opinion.

Final Verdict

BitDegree is a legit platform that will let you earn crypto by completing missions and tasks. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has a few drawbacks you need to know.

To help you with your decision, here’s a summary of its pros and cons, so you can see a clear overview of what it offers.

pros

Pros:

  • Offers an interesting way to earn crypto
  • Free to join
cons

Cons:

  • The payout system is not very transparent
  • You’ll have to wait a while to receive your earnings

In my opinion, BitDegree is not really worth your time, mainly because of the low earning potential it offers. It also doesn’t help that the platform is not clear about its payout system.

Aside from that, the platform is not so much about helping you learn more about crypto and Web3, but more about promoting its partner platforms, in my opinion. So, if you truly want to learn more about the crypto industry, there are better options out there.

If your main goal is to earn crypto for free, you are better off finding other platforms. For a list of great options, I recommend you check out the best sites that let you earn Bitcoin for free instead.

But if your goal is to just earn extra cash regularly, then I suggest you check out the best survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount quickly and regularly.
