The site is not quite clear about how their payment system works. I personally couldn’t find out, and later, you will know why. But from what I can gather, HandyPro pays its craftsmen via check.

Since the company has local offices in cities where it is available, you can possibly claim your check from their office. Anyway, the payment details will all be clarified if you get hired as a HandyPro craftsman.

That being said, I’ve read feedback online from craftsmen that the pay isn’t that good. That’s why I would say that even though the opportunity sounds very promising, the earning potential is still not that good, in my opinion.

One reason I can think about why HandyPro used a different name for their app is that, as mentioned earlier, there’s a similar site called Handy, and it also has its own mobile app. So, to distinguish their app from their competitor, they probably decided to use a different name.

Anyway, the app can be downloaded from the Android and iOS app stores, so compatibility won’t be an issue. As explained earlier, as a craftsman, you’ll have to use the app to check if there are bookings for you. Fortunately, the app is relatively easy to use, so you shouldn’t encounter any issues while using it.

Who can join HandyPro?

Here’s the most important part you need to take note of. HandyPro is only available in the US and only in certain cities. You can find the list of locations it is available in here.

As of the writing of this review, HandyPro is only available in 12 locations, so this opportunity is not for everyone.
