I recently came across an app called Lucky Miner that claims you can get paid every minute you play mobile games.
Sounds like a very interesting way to earn extra cash, right?
Well, I have encountered many apps that offer the same kind of earning opportunity over the years, so I tend to be cautious when I encounter one. That’s why I decided to test this app first to see what it offers and to compare it with other apps to see how it stacks up.
In this Lucky Miner app review, I will share everything you need to know about the app so you will know exactly what to expect before you even install it. Then, you can properly gauge if it is an app worth using or not. So, let’s get this review started right away, shall we?
What is Lucky Miner and what does it offer?
Lucky Miner is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will pay you for playing the games it features. It is indeed a legit app since you will really get paid to play mobile games.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is worth using. To figure out if Lucky Miner is worth your time or not, the first thing you need to do is to understand how it works, and the best way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers.
That way, you’ll have a good idea of how much time and effort is required to earn money from this app.
For that, I have made a video showing you exactly how Lucky Miner works. You can also read the details below the video.
Option 1 – Playing featured games
The primary way to earn from Lucky Miner is by playing the mobile games the app features. When you log in to the app, you will immediately see all the featured games you can play.
To start playing a game, just press the one you are interested in, and it will take you to the app page of the game. Just download and install the game and make sure you allow Lucky Miner to track the data usage.
Once the game is installed, it will now show up under the “My Apps” section. Now, this is a step you shouldn’t forget. When you want to play a featured game, you should open it through the My Apps section of the app instead of opening it directly from your device. This is to ensure that Lucky Miner can track how long you play the game.
As mentioned earlier, the app claims to pay you every minute you play a featured game. It’s actually true, but it’s not the whole story. You see, the only time Lucky Miner will pay you per minute of playing a game is during the first few minutes of playing the game.
Afterward, it will take longer and longer for you to get paid. So, you’ll have to play the game longer if you want to keep earning from it. At this point, I would highly suggest you move on to the next featured game so you can earn more efficiently.
This system is by design. It is meant to prevent people from sticking to just one game. You see, Lucky Miner is paid by app developers to get people to use their apps. So, if Lucky Miner can make people play more games, they will earn more. It’s a smart and understandable system, in my opinion.
Other apps that offer the same kind of earning opportunity also employ the same kind of system, so it comes as no surprise.
Option 2 – Offers
Another way of earning rewards from this app is by completing offers. These offers are just short tasks you can do to earn rewards. Usually, you’ll be asked to answer a survey or quiz, play a game, or register for a site or app.
Every offer will have a set of instructions you need to follow, so make sure you read them first before working on one. Once you complete an offer, you will receive the promised reward.
One thing I can say, though, is that the availability of offers will depend on your country, and based on my experience, people who don’t live in the US, UK, or Canada will have fewer opportunities to earn. While I was testing the app, the only offers I encountered were survey offers.
Option 3 – Referral program
Lastly, you can earn by inviting people to join the app through Lucky Miner’s referral program. All you have to do is go to the “Invite” section of Lucky Miner and press the invite button (refer to the photo below).
Then, you can send the invitation link using any of the communication apps installed on your mobile device. Once the person accepts your invitation and registers as a member, they will become your referral. You will then receive 100 coins as a reward.
Aside from that, you will receive a 25% commission every time your referral earns something from the app. Your referral will also receive a 25% commission if you earn from the app. So, it’s actually beneficial for both parties.
How do you get paid?
As mentioned above, you will earn a certain number of coins when playing the featured games or participating in the other earning opportunities the app offers. But what can you do with the coins you’ve earned exactly?
Well, you can use them to redeem various rewards. As you can see in the photo above, you can convert your coins to cash via PayPal. The required number of coins to do a PayPal withdrawal will depend on your location, though, but usually, it will be around 2,000 to 4,000 coins, which will be worth around $0.2 to $0.4.
The currency the app will be using will be set to your local currency as well. Aside from PayPal withdrawals, you can also redeem various gift cards, but again, the type of gift cards you can redeem will depend on where you are located.
Overall, I would say the payment system of Lucky Miner is relatively straightforward. I like the fact that it offers a payment system like PayPal because it is one of the most convenient payment methods available today, in my opinion.
If you are looking for more sites that use a convenient payment method, I would recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal.
How much money can you make?
The amount you can earn from Lucky Miner will be quite small, I will tell you right now. It’s not surprising because this is the issue with apps that offer the same kind of earning opportunity. The earning potential is very low.
While I was testing the app, I earned around 500 coins in half an hour. If you convert that to money, that would be roughly $0.05, which is such a small amount. That’s why I would say Lucky Miner is no different from the other apps that offer the same kind of earning opportunity.
The earning potential is very low, which is why I don’t recommend you join this app if your intention is to find a good source of extra cash.
Can you use it on a desktop?
Lucky Miner is a mobile-only app, so you need to use a mobile device to earn from it. As for the app, you can only download it from the Android app store. It doesn’t have an iOS version.
So, if you are an iOS user, I would recommend you check out the best money making apps for iOS instead.
The app is user-friendly. You will be able to navigate it easily. You also won’t encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using it, which is the one upside I found about the app, in my opinion.
Who can join Lucky Miner?
Lucky Miner doesn’t really tell you which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available worldwide. You shouldn’t encounter any problems installing it. To be sure, you can go to the Android app store and search for the app.
If it shows up among the results, the app is available in your country. If it doesn’t, then it means Lucky Miner isn’t available in your country.
To sign up, you have to install the app first. Then, once you open the app for the first time, you have to go through the registration process. You can sign up using your Google or Facebook account, but you can also sign up using your own email address and password.
Once you are done with the sign-up process, you can log in to the app and start earning. But as I’ve mentioned earlier, you have to allow Lucky Miner to track the data usage if you want to earn from playing the featured games. So, make sure to do that before you play any game.
Can you get support?
If you have any questions about the app or your account, you can check out the Help page first. It discusses some of the basic topics you need to know about the app.
If you can’t find what you are looking for, you can just get in touch with their support team using the contact form provided by the app. It can be accessed through the Help page as well.
Overall, I would say the app has a decent support system in place for its members since it offers a convenient way for you to communicate with their support department.
Lucky Miner is a legit GPT app that will pay you for playing their featured games and participating in other earning opportunities. It does have a couple of good features, but it just has a few too many drawbacks to be considered a good option, in my opinion.
Let me wrap up this review with a summary of its pros and cons to give you an overview of what the app has to offer. Then you can decide if it is truly worth using or not.
- Offers payment via PayPal
- The app is user-friendly
- Limited earning opportunities offered
- Low rewards
- The app only works with Android devices
If it weren’t clear enough, Lucky Miner, in my opinion, is not an app worth using. It will take quite a long time before you will be able to earn a decent amount from this app. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with this app, there are simply just better ways to earn extra cash online.
If all you are looking for is a source of extra cash, I would recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites on this list all have good earning potential, so you will be able to earn a significant amount in no time. In other words, you will get the most value out of your time with these sites.
