Option 1 – Remote Jobs

As explained above, micro1 essentially acts as a recruitment platform that helps connect companies with remote workers. Now, it is important to note that there’s no guarantee you will ever earn from what micro1 offers, because, as you can probably tell, you’ll need to apply for the job opportunities it offers.

When you go to the Jobs section of the website, you will immediately see all the available job offers. Keep in mind that these job offers are from various companies that have partnered with micro1, so you won’t exactly be working for the website if you get hired.

There is a wide variety of remote jobs available. When I was looking around the site, there were job offers for QA analysts, audio engineers, software and web developers, financial data analysts, and a whole lot more.

So, you could say there’s really something for everyone, in my opinion. If you see a job you are interested in, just click it to see the full details. Then, if you want to apply for it, you must fill out the application form and upload your resume.

Once you are done, you’ll have to go through the skill certification process so that micro1 can identify which job offers are right for you. If you pass the certification, you’ll be scheduled for an interview. Aside from that, you’ll also be added to micro1’s talent pool for future job opportunities.

Now, what surprised me when I was testing this platform was that an AI did the interview. It’s definitely one of the weirdest job interviews I’ve encountered, but that’s how their system works.

To do so, you must log in to the member dashboard and go to the Opportunities section. Then, click the Refer and Earn button for the job opportunity you are interested in. This will show your referral link for that job offer.

All you have to do is share the link with the person you think is a good fit for the job. If they get hired and work for at least 10 hours, you will receive the referral reward.

The reward will depend on the job opportunity you refer the person to. The highest I saw while exploring the job opportunities was $2,000, which is a pretty significant amount.

So, in terms of how good the referral reward is, I would say it’s pretty good, but you must also keep in mind that earning that reward is easier said than done, because the person you invite must land the job for you to earn it.

How do you get paid?

As mentioned earlier, the job offers will come from various companies and not from micro1. So, the payments will be handled by the company that will hire you.

As for the payment methods used, it will all depend on your employer. Based on my experience, it will usually be through a convenient payment method like bank transfer or PayPal. Aside from that, payments will usually follow a schedule like a normal job would.

This is why I would say that you should expect the payment method to be quite straightforward and convenient.

How much money can you make?

Most (if not all) of the job opportunities found on the site offer competitive pay. This is not surprising because all the jobs require certain skills, so you should also expect competitive pay.

Aside from that, the referral program also offers pretty significant rewards. In my experience, this is a sign of how hard it is to look for the right person for the job.

Overall, I would say its earning potential is quite good, but landing a job will be quite hard. But if you do manage to get hired, you stand to earn a significant amount. That’s the reality of what micro1 offers.

Can you use it on mobile?

micro1 doesn’t have a mobile app, but its website is optimized for mobile use, so you can browse job offers conveniently on your phone. However, if you are going to apply for a job, I urge you to use your desktop or laptop instead.

You’ll have to do a lot of typing, so it would be better if you do it using your computer to avoid any errors. The best thing you can do on your phone is to check if there are job opportunities you can refer to your friends, because this will just involve copying and sharing your referral link.

But apart from that, you will definitely need a computer to earn from what micro1 offers.

Now, if you get hired and have concerns about your job, it is best to address them with your employer, because micro1 won’t be able to help you.

Overall, I would say it provides the minimum required support to its members, as it offers an easy way for you to ask for help. I just wish it had a Help section you can check out to reduce the instances of having to contact support.
