Option 1 – Paid Surveys

One way to earn from Pirate Pay is by answering surveys. When you log in to the app, you will immediately see all the survey providers to choose from.

However, as you can see in the photo above, it’s hard to identify what the icons stand for. They are actually the logos of the survey providers that have partnered with Pirate App. I was able to recognize them because I had tested all of them before.

But if you are new to online rewards apps and sites, you might have a hard time figuring out what these icons are. So, you won’t have any idea what to do.

Now, to start earning, just pick an icon and press it. You’ll then see all the available surveys you can answer. If it is your first time choosing a survey provider, you’ll be asked to provide some information about yourself first before you can proceed.

Once you’ve done that, you should be able to see all the surveys you can answer (as long as there are surveys available). When answering a survey, you’ll have to go through a qualifying process first. If you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey.

If you don’t qualify, you just have to move on to the next survey available (if there are any). There’s a decent number of partner survey providers, but there aren’t a lot of surveys available. So, don’t expect to earn regularly from this opportunity.

After you complete a survey, you will earn a certain number of coins, and it will be credited to your Pirate Pay account balance. Later, I will discuss what you can do with the coins you’ve earned.

Option 2 – Playing Featured Games

As mentioned earlier, you will be able to earn by playing mobile games.

To start earning from this opportunity, you need to go to the Play section of the app. You need to click the icon with the eyepatch, and then you have to click the controller option.

As soon as you’ve done that, you’ll have to enable Pirate Pay to track the usage of apps. It’s a simple step, so you shouldn’t encounter any issues doing it. Once you’ve done that step, you will see all the available games you can play.

For this opportunity, you have to pick a game you want to play. For each game, you can only earn a maximum number of coins. The way it works is that after choosing a game you want to play, you have to install it on your mobile device.

Once it is installed, it will appear in the My Apps section. You need to click the game under My Apps to open it. This is a very important step because if you open the app directly from your mobile device’s menu, Pirate App won’t be able to track how long you’ve been playing the game.

Now, for every minute you play the featured game, you will earn a certain number of coins. However, the longer you keep playing the game, the fewer coins you will receive. This is designed to motivate you to play other games to earn more because that’s how Pirate Pay earns.

They get paid to get people to play various mobile games. The games you can play are quite fun, but the rewards you will earn from this opportunity are very low.

So, it’s not exactly an efficient way to earn, in my opinion.

Option 3 – Offerwalls

You will also be able to earn more rewards through Pirate App’s offerwalls. In case you don’t know what this is, an offerwall is an in-app advertising platform that will let you earn by completing offers that are designed to promote other mobile apps or websites.

To start earning, just pick an offerwall you want to work on. Compared to other GPT apps, Pirate Pay doesn’t have a lot of options to choose from. Once you’ve chosen an offerwall, you’ll see all the offers available.

Most of these offers will ask you to download another mobile app, answer a survey or quiz, watch a video, sign up for a free trial, and more. Each offer has a set of instructions you need to follow. Make sure to take note of these instructions because if you miss even one of them, you won’t be able to complete the offer and earn the reward.

After you complete the offer, the coins will be credited to your account balance.

Option 4 – Referral Program

Lastly, you can also earn by inviting other people to join Pirate Pay through its referral program. All you have to do is share your referral code with the person you want to invite, and when they sign up, they have to input your code. When they do, they will become your referral.

They will receive bonus rewards after they input your referral code. Unfortunately, the app is not quite clear about how much your referral will receive. As for you, you will receive 500 coins as a reward per referral you get.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you will earn coins from the earning opportunities Pirate Pay Offers. But what can you do with the coins you’ve earned, exactly? Well, you can convert them to cash via PayPal.

As you can see in the photo above, you will be able to withdraw as soon as you’ve earned at least 3,000 coins. That will be worth $0.2, which is a very small amount, in my opinion.

You also have the option to exchange your coins for various gift cards. The type of gift cards you can redeem will depend on the country you live in, though. But when I was testing the payment system of Pirate Pay, I encountered an error when I attempted to withdraw my earnings.

The problem is that the error won’t tell you exactly what caused it. So, you are left wondering what you need to do to withdraw your earnings. This is a very bad experience, in my opinion. They should at least provide a reason for the error so you will know what to do to move forward.

That is why I would say the payment system of Pirate Pay is very bad. Although it offers payment via PayPal, the fact that it is very buggy makes it an unusable app, in my opinion. Instead, I suggest you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal for apps and sites that offer a more seamless withdrawal of earnings.

How much money can you make?

While Pirate Pay does seem like it offers a lot of opportunities to earn, you still won’t be able to earn a lot from this app. That’s because the app doesn’t pay well. It will take quite a bit of time to earn a decent amount from this app.

So, I would say the earning potential of Pirate Pay is very low, which is why it is not something I would recommend to my friends. It’s not an app that will let you earn efficiently, in my opinion. So, you need to invest a lot of time just to earn a few dollars, which is not a good use of your time.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Pirate Pay is a mobile-only app, so you will need a mobile device to earn from it. The app is only available to Android users, so if you are an iOS user, then Pirate Pay is not for you. I suggest you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

As explained earlier, Pirate Pay is not a very user-friendly app. The user interface is not very intuitive, so if it’s your first time on a GPT app, you’ll have to spend some time figuring out what each icon does. The only upside to the app is that you won’t encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using it.

But overall, the user experience it offers is not good. As mentioned earlier, you will potentially encounter errors, especially when trying to withdraw your earnings.

Pirate Pay doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but from what I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. But the best way to find out if it is available in your area is to search for it on Google Play. If it appears among the results, then that means it is available in your country.

To sign up as a member, you can just use your Google account. You will actually have to sign in using your Google account every time you close the app, which I find a bit annoying. Normally, with other apps, you’ll be logged in immediately unless you uninstall the app.

Can you get support?
