Scrambly is a platform that claims you can get paid by trying out new apps and games.
So, if you are in the market for a platform where you can earn extra cash, then you might be interested in joining it. But the question is, is Scrambly legit or a scam?
This Scrambly review will address that concern among other things. It will show you the full details of what the site has to offer so you will know exactly what to expect from it before you even sign up.
Then, you will be able to decide if it is truly worth your time or not.
What is Scrambly, and what does it offer?
Scrambly is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site that will reward you for testing various mobile apps and its other earning opportunities. And yes, it is indeed legit since you can really earn from it.
However, that doesn’t automatically mean that it is worth your time. To find out if you should sign up for this, you must first understand how it works. The only way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers so you will know exactly how much time and effort is needed to earn from it.
So, here’s how to earn from Scrambly.
Option 1 – Apps and Games
The main way to earn from Scrambly is by trying out various apps and games. To view the available apps you can try, you must log in to the member dashboard. Then, you must click the Earn & Save link at the top to see all the choices (refer to the photo below).
Take note that you must use a mobile device to earn from this opportunity. There is a Desktop option, but I never found any opportunity to play desktop games, so it’s not something you should expect to earn from.
To start earning, you must open the mobile app since you will mostly be trying out other mobile games and apps (more on this later) and get to the Earn & Save section. Then, you must choose an app or game you want to try out and click it. You’ll then see the instructions you need to follow to earn from the app or game.
After you’ve taken note of the instructions, you must install the app or game. Then, you must do everything the instructions tell you to do to earn the rewards. Each app or game has a maximum number of points you can earn. Once you’ve earned all the rewards, you will never be able to earn from that app or game again.
So, it’s best to move on to the next app or game you want to try. Later, I will discuss what you can do with the points you’ve earned.
Option 2 – Paid Surveys
Another way to earn from Scrambly is through its paid surveys. However, keep in mind that this opportunity will only become available once you’ve completed your profile and made your first payout (refer to the photo below).
Now, what you need to know is that Scrambly doesn’t have its own surveys. Instead, it has partnered with other survey panels to provide its members with paid surveys. So, to start earning from this opportunity, you must pick a survey panel you want to work on and click it.
After you’ve chosen a panel, you’ll be taken to the survey panel’s platform, where you’ll have to set up your profile if it’s your first time choosing the survey panel. Once you’ve completed your profile, you’ll be able to see all the available surveys from that survey panel.
Just choose which survey you are interested in and click it. Then, you must go through a qualifying process where you’ll have to answer a series of questions to determine if you are eligible for this survey. If you are, then you get to proceed to the actual survey.
If you aren’t, then you simply have to move on to the next survey available. Once you complete the survey, you will receive the reward promised. There weren’t a lot of surveys available when I was testing Scrambly, so it’s not something you should expect to earn from regularly.
Option 3 – Referral Program
Lastly, you’ll be able to earn passively through Scrambly’s referral program. In case you are not familiar with this kind of earning opportunity, the way it works is that you must invite other people to join the platform.
To do so, you must share your invite link with the person you want to invite. Then, when they click the link and sign up as a member, they will become your referral. Your referral will then receive a total of 600 points as a reward.
For your reward, you’ll receive a 10% commission every time your referral earns from Scrambly. It’s a decent form of passive earning, but you need to make sure that the people you invite are really interested in earning from it. Otherwise, you won’t earn anything from this opportunity.

How do you get paid?
As explained above, you’ll earn points from the earning opportunities of Scrambly. But what can you do with the points you’ve earned?
Well, the good thing about Scrambly is that it offers multiple options. You can use the points to redeem various gift cards or a prepaid Visa card. You can also convert your points to cash via PayPal.
To cash out, you will need to earn at least 1,000 points, which will be worth $1 in gift cards or PayPal cash. It’s a very low payout threshold, so you shouldn’t have a hard time reaching your first payout.
Overall, the payment system of Scrambly is relatively straightforward. I like the fact it has a very low payout threshold because you can withdraw your earnings rather quickly. If you are interested in more sites that have low payout thresholds, I suggest you check out the fastest-paying sites as well.
How much money can you make?
Based on what I’ve found while testing Scrambly, you won’t earn a lot from it because it has a limited number of opportunities to earn for a GPT site, in my experience. It pales in comparison to the most popular GPT sites around today.
Even though it pays a decent amount (you can mostly earn around 5,000 to 10,000 per app or game), you still won’t be able to earn a significant amount from it because of the limited opportunities it offers. This is why I would say the earning potential of Scrambly is relatively low, in my opinion. That being said, it can serve as a decent secondary site to earn from.
Can you use it on mobile?
As mentioned earlier, Scrambly has a mobile app you can download so you can earn using your mobile device. The app is available for Android users only. If you are an iOS user, you can still access the member dashboard by using a mobile web browser. It’s not as convenient as an app, but it does the job fairly well since the site is mobile-friendly.
The app is relatively easy to use as well. You’ll be able to figure out how to navigate it quickly. You also won’t encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using it, which is why I would say the overall user experience it offers is generally good.
Who can join Scrambly?
The site doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in. But from what I found out, it is only available in the US or Canada. So, if you live somewhere else, then Scrambly is not for you.
To sign up, you must use your Google account. Even if you are an iOS user, you’ll still need to use a Google account to join. So, if you don’t have one, then you better create one if you are interested in becoming a member.
After you are done registering, you must also provide a selfie and a photo of your ID (government-issued). Once you’ve submitted these requirements, you’ll be able to earn from Scrambly with no problems.
Can you get support?
If you have any questions, you can check out the FAQ section of the website. It discusses some of the basic topics you need to know. But if you can’t find the answers you need, you can get in touch with the support team instead.
To do so, you must click the Contact Us link, and it will open the Help dialogue box. Just click the “How can we help you today?” link to submit your question. Overall, I would say Scrambly provides the minimum required support to its members since it offers a convenient way for you to get help.
Final Verdict
Scrambly is a legit GPT platform that will let you earn by trying out apps and games, as well as participating in the other opportunities it offers. It has a couple of good features, but it also has some drawbacks you need to consider.
To help you with your decision, I have summarized its pros and cons to give you an overview of what it offers.
Pros:
- Offers payment via PayPal
- Low payout threshold
Cons:
- Limited earning opportunities
- Only available in a couple of countries
Scrambly is a decent GPT platform, in my opinion. It offers a convenient payment method, and it has a low payout threshold. However, it doesn’t offer a lot of earning opportunities, so you still won’t be able to earn a lot from it even though it pays quite well.
That’s why if you decide to join, you should do so with the proper expectations. At best, it can only serve as a secondary platform to earn from, in my opinion.
Now, if you are looking for primary ways to earn, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites on this list all have good earning potential, so you should be able to earn a decent amount regularly.
Plus, you will definitely find a site you can join regardless of where you live.
