In this 24Task review, I will show you what you need to know so you will have a clear idea of what to expect from it before you even sign up. And let me tell you right now that there are a few important things you need to know about this app.

24Task is an app that offers freelance opportunities so you can earn extra cash. It is a legit app since you can really earn from the jobs found inside this app. But as mentioned earlier, there are a few things you need to know about 24Task.

The earning opportunity – Jobs

Once you become a freelancer for 24Task, you just have to log in to the app to view all the available jobs. You will immediately see all the available jobs you can apply for.

When you find a job offer you are interested in, just press it to see the full details. You will then see the complete details of what the job entails. You will also see the potential money you can earn from completing the job.

If you want to give it a go, you will have to place your bid. This bid is actually your way of informing the employer how much you are willing to get paid for the job and when they can expect you to finish it.

As shown in the photo above, you just have to indicate the amount you are willing to be paid for doing the job, as well as when the expected delivery date is in days or hours (it’s up to you). During this step, you can use the information provided on the details page to guide you on what amount to offer.

Just make sure not to place a too small amount so that you won’t get underpaid. This is the tendency with freelance platforms where freelancers tend to compete with each other by offering lower rates. You need to figure out the right rate to offer so that you also won’t end up on the losing end.

If the employer likes your bid, they will hire you. You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal or Payoneer (as shown in the photo above) once you’ve earned at least $100, which is also quite a high payout threshold, in my opinion. The amount will be credited to your PayPal or Payoneer account after 10 days.

The payment system of 24Task is relatively straightforward. However, as you can see, there are a few drawbacks. One, the service fee is very high; second, the wait time is also a bit long. And lastly, the payout threshold is also very high.

So, you really have to be patient when withdrawing your earnings from this app. If you prefer an app or site that will let you withdraw your earnings quickly, I recommend you check out the fastest paying sites instead.

How much money can you make?

One important thing you need to know about 24Task is that there are a lot of job offers that are just scams.

I read all the reviews on their app page and found that there were plenty of complaints regarding employers not paying freelancers.

You will immediately know that they are scams because employers will ask you to pay some sort of fee for them to release your pay. This is why I mentioned earlier that you have to be careful when choosing jobs through this app.

While I’m not saying that all the jobs offered on 24Task are scams, what I’m trying to point out is that you will have a hard time finding real opportunities to earn. This is why I would say the earning potential of 24Task isn’t really that good, in my opinion.

Plus, as explained earlier, their service fee is very high. In fact, it is one of the highest I’ve encountered in all the years I’ve been testing these kinds of sites and apps.

Can you use it on a desktop?

For booking jobs, you will really need to use the app because that’s the only place where you can view all the available jobs. But as for the work you need to do, you will definitely need to use a computer because most (if not all) tasks will require the use of a laptop or a desktop.

Some jobs even require additional equipment like headphones and a microphone (customer support jobs).

As for the app, it is available for Android and iOS users, and it is relatively easy to use. Just remember to search for the freelancer version and not the employer version.

However, members also complain that the app has quite a lot of bugs. I never got to experience it, though, since I didn’t end up using the app for a long time, and later I will explain why.

Who can join 24Task?

24Task is available more or less worldwide, so you can sign up as a freelancer regardless of where you live. The registration process is also relatively straightforward.

You just have to download and install the app. When you open it for the first time, you’ll be asked how you want to sign in. You can choose to sign in using your Facebook or Google account. You can also provide your own login details.

After the sign-up stage, you can log in to the app, but you still have to complete a few verification steps to start earning.

A support representative will then answer your question. When I tested the app, the representative replied to my messages within 10 minutes, which is quite a decent turnaround, in my opinion.
