Well, the only way to find out is to understand how it works. The best way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear idea of what you need to do to earn and how much time you have to invest in it.
So, here’s how to earn from Boomco.
Option 1 – Ladder Ranking
Ladder ranking is one way to earn rewards from Boomco. The way this opportunity works is that you participate in daily missions or answer questions in the Quiz Module. By doing so, you will earn a certain number of points.
Then, at the end of the season, which lasts a month, if I’m not mistaken, you will earn a certain number of LER coins according to your rank.
Daily missions and challenges will usually involve answering quizzes or just going through the courses the app offers. You can check out the missions and challenges by going to the My Account section of the app.
At the end of the season, you can use the LER coins you’ve earned to level up, upgrade, or take courses and assessments. Essentially, what you will gain if you participate in this opportunity is to earn enough rewards to take courses that will help you learn Korean.
This is an important thing to keep in mind. This opportunity will not allow you to directly earn crypto or cash. All you’ll get from this is an opportunity to learn Korean. And I do have to say that their courses will help you learn the language, so if learning Korean is your goal, this is one way to achieve that goal.
But if your goal is to earn, then you should go for the other earning opportunity Boomco offers, which I will discuss next.
Option 2 – Backpack Learning
In the Backpack Learning mode, you can earn rewards for a solved quiz. To do so, just log in to the app and go to the quiz section to see all the available quizzes.
You will need to have enough mana when you answer a quiz if you want to earn from it. A quiz solved without any mana left will not affect rewards. Every day, you will be given 20 free mana you can use to solve a quiz. Every question in a quiz will consume 1 mana, so you have to be careful when answering quizzes if you want to maximize your earnings from them.
For every correct answer you get, you will receive 1 SATS coin (Satoshi). If you run out of mana and you still want to continue earning from a quiz, you can charge it by watching a video ad. By doing so, you will receive 5 mana. You can do this every 10 minutes, so it will take some time before you can fully charge your mana (40 minutes, to be exact).
If you don’t want to wait 10 minutes to recharge your mana by watching a video ad, you can just log in the next day, and your mana will be fully recharged.
It’s quite a slow process to earn from this opportunity, in my opinion. Plus, it is also very challenging, especially if you are new to learning Korean since all the quizzes will be about the Korean language.

How do you get paid?
As explained above, the only way you can earn is by answering quizzes. The ladder ranking opportunity is only really used for taking courses to learn Korean. And let me just tell you right now that if you are expecting to earn cash from this app, you will be disappointed.
All you’ll get from Boomco is crypto in the form of SATS (Satoshi tokens). The problem is that even though Boomco has a built-in wallet you can use, as of writing this review, it still doesn’t allow you to transfer your SATS coins to other crypto wallets so that you can trade them for cash.
So, in the end, all your earnings will be stuck in the Boomco app. That being said, Boomco does have its own marketplace. The only problem is that you have no way of accessing this marketplace (at least, that’s what happened while I was testing the app).
It only says that you will need KLAY coins to purchase anything from the marketplace, and you don’t have any opportunity to purchase these coins from anywhere in the app. My guess is that you can somehow earn these KLAY coins when you progress through the courses you take on Boomco. I personally wasn’t able to reach that point, so I really can’t say.
Overall, if your goal is to earn, then Boomco is not the right app for you because, as of writing this review, you will not be able to withdraw any of your earnings. Instead, if you are interested in earning crypto, I suggest you check out the best sites to earn free Bitcoin.
How much money can you make?
Boomco's earning potential is very low. As explained earlier, the process of potentially earning from this app is very slow, so it’s not a good way to earn crypto.
But if you just want to learn the Korean language, then this can be a decent app to use, in my opinion. If your goal is just to earn, you should find other apps or sites to earn from.
Can you use it on a desktop?
Boomco is a mobile-only platform. You will need to use a mobile device to earn from it. Fortunately, the app is available for both Android and iOS devices, so compatibility won’t be an issue.
The app is relatively easy to use, but my main issue with this app is that the user interface is not very intuitive. For example, it will take quite some time to figure out how you will be able to earn from it because there isn’t a lot of information explaining how you can earn.
In my experience, apps like this usually take you on a tutorial on how it works so you can get a clear picture of how you should use it. But with Boomco, all you get is a few introductions, and you are left to fend for yourself.
Overall, I would say its user experience isn’t very pleasant. Figuring out how to use the app will take a lot of guesswork, and if this is your first time using this kind of app, it will definitely take quite some time to do so.

The one decent thing about Boomco, in my opinion, is that it is available more or less worldwide. To sign up, you have to download the app first.
Once the app is installed, you’ll be taken to the member dashboard immediately. But to save your progress and the rewards you will earn, you will have to log in. To do so, you have to click the My Account icon and log in using your Google or Apple account (refer to the photo above). After you’ve done that, you can proceed with using the app as you are supposed to.
Can you get support?
Another issue I found with Boomco is that its app and even the website don’t have a Help page or even a FAQ page, so if you have any questions about the app or your account, you will have to find the answers another way.
All you get from the website is the whitepaper for the platform, which isn’t exactly useful, in my opinion. I had to do a little bit of research to find the contact info for the app. Apparently, you can email their customer service if you have any questions or encounter any issues while using the app. You can send your email to cs@boomco.org.
