BuzzBack is a survey site that promises to reward you for answering their surveys.
It has been in operation since 2000. But is BuzzBack a scam or one of the legit survey sites?
Let me just reveal right away that BuzzBack is legit. The many years it has existed is proof enough that it is a legit survey panel.
But the question is if this will be a good survey panel to join. Answering this question will involve examining all the details about the site.
This BuzzBack review will do exactly that. After reading this review, you will know exactly what to expect and can decide for yourself if joining the survey panel will be worth your time.
What is BuzzBack, and what does it offer?
As mentioned above, BuzzBack.com is a survey site that will reward you for completing their survey offers.
This US-based survey site has received many awards over the years, which certainly makes it impressive at first glance.
It is run by Cint, and if you have joined survey sites before, you have likely seen panels that are very similar as they run quite a few sites, and they are all very similar in the way they look and work.
But to truly gauge BuzzBack's earning potential, we have to examine how you will earn from this survey site.
So, here's how you can earn from BuzzBack.
Option 1 – BuzzBack Surveys
The main method of earning from BuzzBack is by completing paid survey offers.
When you become a member of BuzzBack's survey panel, you will receive invitations to answer surveys from time to time. You will be able to see all the available surveys you can take once you log in to their site.
You will also receive a notification email informing you that there are surveys available for you.
The process of answering a survey on BuzzBack is pretty much the same as what you would expect from other survey sites. When you click on a survey offer, you will first have to answer a set of qualifying questions.
BuzzBack does this to check if you belong to the group of people the survey is targeting. If you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey. If you don't qualify, the process stops there. You simply move on to the next survey offer (if there is any).
Typically, their surveys will take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete, which, in my opinion, is quite long. Other survey offers will take longer to complete.
Once you complete the survey, you will receive a certain amount, which will be credited to your BuzzBack account (I will talk about how you will be able to withdraw this amount later).
Option 2 – Product Testing
From time to time, you will also receive invitations from their clients to test certain products.
You won't find any information on their website about this earning opportunity (which is one of my main concerns about their site), but long-time members say if you get lucky, you will be asked to review a product from one of their clients.
They will mail you the product so you can test it. You get to keep it, too, which is a nice bonus.
I'm not sure how you will provide feedback about the product, but in my experience, they will usually include a prepaid envelope you can use to send back your feedback on the product or simply fill out an online questionnaire.
Option 3 – Sweepstakes
BuzzBack also holds sweepstakes regularly, where you get the chance to win significant prizes. Unfortunately, there isn't any information about how they conduct their sweepstakes.
In my experience, sweepstakes on survey sites are usually done every month. You will be able to earn entries to their sweepstakes when you complete some survey offers.

How do you get paid?
For every survey offer you complete on BuzzBack, you will receive a certain amount, which will then be credited to your BuzzBack account.
Once you've reached $15 in your account, you can then request payment, which can be done via PayPal.
Based on feedback from long-time members, it will take around 3 to 4 weeks before the payment will be processed and credited to your PayPal account.
You also have the choice to redeem Amazon gift cards instead of withdrawing your money via PayPal.
In my opinion, the payout threshold is a bit high, which makes it a bit harder to withdraw your earnings quickly. But, it is good that they offer a convenient way to withdraw your earnings (via PayPal).
But compared to the fastest paying survey sites, having to wait for 3-4 weeks to get the reward after you have requested it is a very long time and a shame it takes this long, in my opinion.
How much money can you make?
Typically, the amount of money you can make from survey sites will depend on whether you get a lot of survey invites.
This is because more survey invites will lead to more surveys being completed. And the more surveys you complete, the more money you will make.
Of course, you have to earn a good amount per survey completed to get to the $15 threshold (which is relatively high, in my opinion).
Based on what long-time members say, the average amount you will receive per survey will be around $5. That, in my opinion, is a relatively significant amount. Not a lot of survey sites offer that kind of reward per survey.
But if you remember, most of their surveys will take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete, which makes the reward justifiable. And as you already know, the longer the survey, the more money you will receive.
So, be happy if you ever receive a survey that takes longer to complete because that will mean you will earn more.
All in all, BuzzBack rewards you handsomely for each survey you complete.
The only drawback is that you won't always qualify for the surveys you will be invited to answer, and you won't receive survey invites regularly. So, it will still take some time to reach the payout threshold.
Can you use it on mobile?
One good thing about BuzzBack's site is that you can access it on a mobile device.
You have to use a mobile web browser, though, to do this because they don't have a standalone mobile app you can download.
However, the mobile version of their site is optimized for mobile use, so you won't really have a hard time navigating through their website.
Their site is fairly well-designed, but there is one significant issue they have. What I'm talking about is the lack of information about their survey panel.
You won't really know what their survey panel can offer unless you sign up and become a member (I will talk about this next). This, in my opinion, significantly reduces the chances of site visitors becoming interested in signing up as members.
In fact, if you visit their site, you won't have a clear idea that they offer this kind of opportunity unless you scroll down and see the “Sign Up For Online Surveys” link at the bottom of their website.
The information you can find on their site is mostly geared toward getting clients to partner with them, which is not necessarily a bad thing. But in my opinion, it would have been better if they at least provided a page that talks about their survey panel.
That would have, at least, made it more enticing for site visitors to sign up and become members of their panel.
Who can join BuzzBack?
And speaking of signing up as a member, only residents of the US are eligible to become a member of BuzzBack's survey panel. You also have to be at least 18 years of age or older to become eligible.
As mentioned, to sign up as a member, you have to scroll down and click on the “Sign Up For Online Surveys” link.
This will take you to the registration form shown in the photo above. Once you hit submit, you will then have to answer several profile questions.
You have to answer honestly because BuzzBack will use the information you've provided to build your profile, so they will know which surveys to send your way.

Can you get support?
If you want to get in touch with their support team, you can use the contact form provided on their Contact Us page.
If you want to speak to a BuzzBack representative, you can also call the number provided on their contact page or email them at info@buzzback.com for more general inquiries.
Overall, they provide a decent way for you to get support. I like that they have a number you can call if you need to speak to a representative directly.
Final Verdict
BuzzBack is a legit survey site that will pay you for completing their survey offers. It is a typical survey site where you can earn a bit of extra money by answering surveys.
But let's finish this review with a summary of its pros and cons so you can get an overview of what the site has to offer before deciding if you should join or not.
Pros:
- Offers a relatively high reward for each survey completed
- You will be able to withdraw your earnings conveniently
Cons:
- Their site lacks information about their survey panel
- Relatively high payout threshold
- Slow payout processing
All in all, BuzzBack is a decent survey site to join because it pays well per survey. That is its main strength.
However, don't expect to earn quickly from it because, based on feedback from long-time members, you won't always get survey offers.
Their site could also benefit from providing more information about their survey panel, in my opinion.
If you are looking for survey sites that will allow you to earn a decent amount regularly, I suggest you check out the top survey sites in your country instead.
The survey sites on this list all have good earning potential. And all of them provide information about their survey panel right from the start. Plus, you will certainly find a survey site for you regardless of where you live.
