The earning opportunity – Jobs
As mentioned above, you can work on virtual assistant jobs to earn from Fancy Hands. Once you become a virtual assistant for Fancy Hands, you can log in to the member dashboard and look for jobs you can apply for.
As you can see from the photo above, the typical jobs found on this site are the usual jobs you can expect as a virtual assistant. These jobs involve making phone calls, doing data entry tasks, scheduling appointments, doing research, and more.
When you log in to the member dashboard, just click on “Jobs” at the top of the page and you will immediately see all the jobs available. Sometimes, though, it will say that there is no job currently available.
This is normal. This means all the jobs requested by Fancy Hands clients have already been assigned to other virtual assistants. When this happens, you just have to check back in at a later time to see if there are jobs available.
The jobs offered are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so it is in your best interest to keep checking if there are jobs available. While this is normal with most freelance sites, it also means that you’ll have to spend a lot of time checking if there are available jobs, which isn’t an ideal situation, in my opinion.
Every job offer will tell you how much you can earn for completing it. When you click on a job offer, you will see how much you will earn and the complete instructions. Hit the apply button and indicate your preferred time to work.
If the client agrees with your work schedule, then he/she will accept your application. Then, all that’s left is to do the work you agreed to do. Once you submit the deliverables, Fancy Hands will review them, and if they meet the standard, Fancy Hands will send them to the client.
If the client is not satisfied with the result, he/she can ask for a revision. You’ll have to complete the revision and go through the same process again until the client is satisfied.
When the client is satisfied with the work, you will receive the compensation promised, and it will be credited to your Fancy Hands account balance. (I will discuss how you can get paid in the next section.)
Simple jobs can take 20 to 30 minutes to complete, while complicated jobs can take several hours to do. But as you can see, there’s a possibility that you have to add more hours if you need to do revisions.

Every time you complete a job, you will earn a specific amount. And as explained above, it will be credited to your Fancy Hands account. Now, the question is, how will you be able to withdraw your earnings from the site?
Well, Fancy Hands will process payments every other Tuesday automatically. So, whatever you’ve earned during that period will be deposited to your bank account via Dwolla.
This means you don’t have to reach a threshold to withdraw your earnings. Any amount you’ve earned within two weeks will be deposited into your bank account.
Overall, the payment system of Fancy Hands is relatively straightforward, and I like the fact that you can get paid via direct bank transfer because it is a very convenient option, in my opinion. But the issue with Fancy Hands is that sometimes, jobs can take several hours to complete, especially if you need to do revisions. When this happens, you won’t get paid an extra amount. So, the time-to-money ratio significantly drops.

But I do wish they would provide more useful information on their site for virtual assistants. In my opinion, this would decrease the instances of having to get in touch with their support team.

Fancy Hands is a legit website for virtual assistants that will pay you for completing jobs. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has a few drawbacks you need to consider.
