Is Five Surveys legit and safe?
Yes, Five Surveys is legit. I have been paid, and I show it on video. But legit does not mean problem-free. Here is what you should know before you start.
- You can be screened out late in a survey
Before a survey, you answer qualifying questions. Several readers report being disqualified or timed out after spending a long time on a survey, with no reward. This happens on most survey sites. If it happens after a long time, contact support.
- You may have to verify your phone number
Readers report that Five Surveys asked them to verify their phone number, around their first cashout. A few readers wrote that they could not withdraw or got no more surveys after that, and were waiting for support.
- Only available in some countries
When I wrote this review, Five Surveys was available in 15 countries on Android and 9 on iOS. Search for it on Google Play or the App Store to see if it is available in your country.

PayPal is the most common payout option. Others, such as Venmo, are only available in certain countries.
My takeIn my opinion, Five Surveys is a good site to earn extra cash from. It offers a simple way to earn, it pays well per survey, and once you request a payout, you get paid immediately. The only real downside is that it is only available in a few countries. They do say they plan to open the site to more countries.
How you earn on Five Surveys
There is one way to earn: paid surveys.

Log in to the member dashboard to see the available surveys. Each survey shows its estimated time and a rating from members who already took it, so you can pick the best ones if you are in a hurry.
You first answer qualifying questions. If you qualify, you take the survey. If not, you move on to the next one. There are a good number of surveys available at any given time.
Each completed survey pays $1 (less in some countries). You see the money in your account once you have completed 5 surveys, and at that point you get $5 and can cash out. Most surveys take around 5 to 15 minutes.

How much can you make?
You earn $1, €1 or £1 for every survey you complete, depending on your country. It does not matter how long the survey takes. In some euro countries, you get €3 per five surveys instead of €5.
That is a higher average rate per survey than most other survey sites I have tested. With a good number of surveys available, you should be able to hit the five-survey target easily. The overall earning potential is pretty good, in my opinion.

You earn in steps of five surveys, so that is the minimum everywhere. In some countries you can withdraw less, but there you also get less per survey.
During my testing, my earnings arrived within a couple of minutes, as my withdrawal video shows. I did not use every method.

I recently signed up for Five Surveys after using similar sites like Prime Opinion and reading good things online.
I earned over the £5 withdraw threshold but when I went to withdraw, like many other it seems, I received a popup saying “Technical Error, please contact support”. This is particularly annoying considering I made an in app purchase on an offer in order to gain more points.
I then proceeded to verify my mobile number as requested but it still will not let me withdraw!
I have emailed support through the website and also the email listed by Five Surveys in replies here, but have not yet received any response. Up to this point I had really enjoyed the app, however after some online digging it seems this is a common theme.
I will hold out for support to help me resolve this and if so I would be more than happy to change my review, but until then, I would avoid this website and use more trusted services.

I do like this app in this convenient. You can pick the service that you like. And the payout is quick, not like others. It is one of the best survey platforms around. Easy process all the way through. The surveys I have completed so far were all relatable. The payout system/process is very smooth and stress free especially if you are in silver or gold which is not hard to reach if you’re consistent.

It is terrible when that happens. It is actually the survey provider’s fault and not the survey site itself. But they should do what they can to remove surveys from providers who use this trick. I suggest you contact their support and let them know you have this issue with certain providers, and hopefully they will take that serious.

Yeah, this happens here, and it sucks, but I have completed 250 surveys, so I see a lot more happen on the site than others might experience.

Great mobile survey app thus far with desktop capabilities as well if you’re interested in participating that way. Decent way to voice your opinions & experiences while earning some cash or gift cards. They also have promotional periods that can boost earnings. If my experience changes I’ll return to update.

After completing four surveys, I need my phone number to verify the information. After verification, no matter which question I click on, I am not eligible to participate. Why is this?
You need to contact their support about this.
Way too many glitches with surveys. You could waste over 25 minutes and a survey will either time out or say you don’t qualify AFTER spending so much time answering the questions. You don’t get any credit for your time wasted, not even a lousy 10 cents. Almost not worth it

Absolutely spot on, Claire. I just wasted 2 hours of my life on that garbage. They don’t mind waiting until you’ve filled out 30 questions before telling you ‘you aren’t eligible’ or just kicking you out of the survey. I feel thoroughly violated.
