Finding an app that will pay you to listen to music is quite rare. Over the years of testing various ways to earn online, I have only encountered maybe a couple of legit apps that offer this kind of earning opportunity.

So, when I came across Givvy Radios, which claims you will get paid to listen to music, I immediately became curious.

That’s why I tested it to learn more about its features and to see if it is really worth using or not. In this Givvy Radios review, I will show you exactly what to expect from it so that you don’t have to try it out on your own to find out if it is worth it, or if it is just a waste of time.

What is Givvy Radios, and what does it offer?

As mentioned above, Givvy Radios is a mobile app that will pay you for listening to music. It is indeed a legit app because you will really get paid to listen to music.

I have also used other apps made by the same developer who created Givvy Radios and have received payments from those apps too.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is worth using. To properly gauge if Givvy Radios is worth it or not, you must first understand how it works, and the best way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers.

Option 1 – Listening to the Radio

Once you log in to the app for the first time, it will ask you to allow it to share your data when using the app. You need to allow the app to do this; otherwise, you will not earn anything.

I’m not exactly sure what type of data you will be sharing with them as they do not explain this, so it’s something to consider when you decide if you should join or not.

Once you’ve done that, you can start earning. All you have to do is pick a radio station to listen to.

You can choose the country you prefer and then pick a radio station listed under that country and play it.

Now, what will happen is that from time to time, you will receive a certain number of coins while the app is open. Aside from that, a gift box will randomly pop up when you are listening to a radio station.

You can just open this gift box and watch an ad. Once you finish watching the ad, you will receive a certain number of coins as a reward.

This is the one downside of their earning method. The ads will disrupt your listening experience. Plus, you need to close the ad because you will not be able to keep earning coins if the ad is still open.

That’s all you really need to do. Again, I have to emphasize that Givvy Radios hands out coins randomly, so it’s quite hard to determine when to expect rewards. You just have to keep using it if you want to continue receiving coins.

Option 2 – Offerwalls

Givvy Radios also has a few offerwalls you can work on to earn additional rewards.

These offerwalls have paid offers that are just short tasks that will ask you to answer surveys, play games, or register for a site or app. Each offer will have a set of instructions you need to follow, so make sure to read them carefully before working on one.

Once you complete all the requirements, you will receive the reward indicated in the offer, which will be a certain number of coins. When I was testing the app, there were 10 offerwalls available, but not all of them had paid offers.

You also have to keep this in mind. The availability of paid offers will depend on where you are located. In my experience, countries like the US, the UK, or Canada have the most potential to earn, while other countries will be offered fewer opportunities to earn.

Option 3 – Referral Program

Another way to earn from Givvy Radios is through its referral program. In case you are not familiar with this kind of earning opportunity, the idea is that you invite people to use the app by sharing your invite link.

Once they click the link, install the app, and register as a member, they will become your referral. Then, as a reward, you will receive a 10% commission every time your referral will cash out his/her earnings.

Your referral will also immediately receive a $0.02 bonus as a reward for signing up using your link.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you will earn coins randomly by listening to radio stations found inside the app.

In the photo above, it says I’ve earned 47%, so I will only need 53% to cash out. As you can see, I’ve earned more than 90,000 coins, which seems like a lot, but it actually isn’t. You see, 10,000 coins are only worth $0.01, which is surprisingly low.

I personally don’t understand apps that use this kind of conversion method. Anyway, the payout threshold you need to reach to cash out will depend on the payment method you choose. For some payment methods, the threshold will be $0.19 (Payeer, Airtm, or Coinbase), worth 190,000 coins.

Other payment methods like PayPal, Perfect Money, or Advcash have a threshold of $1.04 or 1,040,000 coins. Overall, the payment system of Givvy Radios is relatively easy to understand, and I like the fact that it offers convenient payment methods.

How much money can you make?

I will tell you right now that the amount you can earn from it won’t be much. When I was testing the app, I earned around 90,000 coins in an hour. Keep in mind that 90,000 coins are only worth $0.09.

Plus, you have to keep closing ads which will disrupt your listening experience, so it really doesn’t have a lot of upsides, in my opinion. Its earning potential is quite low. It will take a lot of time to earn a decent amount.

That’s why I would say your time is better spent on other apps that offer better earning potential and more value for your time.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Givvy Radios is a mobile-only platform, so you will need to use a mobile device to earn from it.

As for the app, it is only available for download through the Android app store. It doesn’t have an iOS version. If you are an iOS user, I would recommend you check out the top money making apps for iOS instead.

The app is relatively easy to use, but as mentioned earlier, you will encounter a lot of pop-up ads while using it, so you need to be patient. That’s why I would say the overall user experience it offers isn’t that great.

Who can join Givvy Radios?

Givvy Radios doesn’t mention exactly which countries it is available in. But from what I can gather, it is available more or less worldwide.

To register as a member, you must first download and install the app. Then, when you open the app for the first time, you can go through the registration process. You can sign up using your Google or Facebook account. Once you’ve finished the registration process, you can log in to the app and start earning.

Can you get support?

If you have any questions about the app or your account, you won’t be able to check out their FAQ or Help page because they don’t have one. Instead, you can just submit your inquiry to their support team by using the contact form inside the app.

Overall, I would say the app offers the minimum required support because it at least offers a way for you to communicate with their support team. But I wish they would at least provide a Help or FAQ page that discusses most of the basic topics you need to know about the app.

That would decrease the frequency of having to contact the support team, in my opinion.

Final Verdict

Givvy Radios is a legit app that will pay you for listening to radio stations and for participating in the other earning opportunities it offers. It has a few advantages but also some drawbacks you need to be aware of.

Let me conclude this review by summarizing its pros and cons to give you an overview of what the app offers. Then, you can decide if it is really worth it or not.

In my opinion, Givvy Radios is not worth your time. The earning potential of it is simply too low to warrant your time and effort. It will take a considerable amount of time and effort to earn just a few dollars, which will be better spent on apps that have better earning potential.

That way, you will get more value from your time. You will also be able to earn more efficiently.
