After you create a profile, you will be eligible to participate in studies. However, unlike other user testing platforms, Intuit User Research doesn’t have a member dashboard you can log in to check if there are available studies you can participate in.
As you can see in the photo above, Intuit User Research will just inform you if there are studies available for you. You’ll receive an email from them if you get invited to participate in a study, so make sure to check your email inbox regularly.
The email will contain all the information you need to know about the study. As for what type of studies it offers, they will usually be in the form of surveys or face-to-face meetings which can be conducted in person or online.
However, the most common type of study will be online meetings. Take note that all the studies you will participate in will be regarding one of the products Intuit offers (TurboTax, QuickBooks, MailChimp, Mint, etc).
When I was testing Intuit User Research, I never got invited to participate in a study, which is not surprising because this opportunity is quite specific. So, if you ever receive an invite from Intuit, you can consider yourself lucky.

How do you get paid?
Whenever you complete a study, you will receive the reward promised by Intuit. As explained earlier, the reward will be mentioned in the email invite you receive.
Most of the time, the reward will be in the form of a prepaid Visa card, but from time to time, you’ll also receive other digital gift cards. Intuit User Research doesn’t offer cash rewards, so don’t expect to receive cash if you participate in a study. The reward will be sent to you via email.
Overall, I would say the payment system of Intuit User Research is relatively straightforward. I like the fact that you don’t have to reach a threshold to receive your earnings because this will let you get your earnings quickly.

However, as explained, you will seldom find opportunities to earn. That’s why I would say the earning potential of Intuit User Research is quite low.
Can you use it on mobile?
The site doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but the earning opportunity it offers can potentially be done from a mobile device.
However, I would still suggest you use your computer while working on a study since it will be more convenient, in my opinion.
Who can join Intuit User Research?
You will be able to sign up as a member of the program regardless of where you live. You must be at least 18 years old to join the program and a user of any of their products.
When you sign up as a member, you will be asked to create a profile. This process is quite long compared to other user testing platforms. It can take up to around 10 minutes to complete your profile.
During this step, you’ll be asked which Intuit products you are using. You must be honest about this because, as mentioned earlier, all the studies that will be offered will be about their products. So, if you don’t use any Intuit products, then you are not qualified to join this program.
After you are done creating your profile, all you have to do is wait for Intuit to email you regarding any study opportunities.
Can you get support?
As explained earlier, the program doesn’t have a member dashboard you can log in to, so there’s nothing to use when you become a member of the program. If you have any questions about the User Research program, there isn’t any Help or FAQ page you can check out.
The program also doesn’t have its own dedicated support team. The Contact Us link on the website is only for users of its programs. Your best bet to get in touch with a support team for the User Research program is to reply to the study invite email you will receive.
I can’t attest to this because I never received any invite from them while I was testing it. This is why I would say the site provides poor support to its members. If you have any questions about the opportunity, you won’t be able to find the answers on their site.
