Mingle Surveys Review: Legit or Scam? (Not for Everyone)

Mingle Surveys Rating

Mingle Surveys, in my opinion, is not for everyone. It is a decent site to join if you are eligible to become a member. You just need to be a bit patient as the earning potential is quite low compared to many other survey sites.

Are you looking for a survey site to earn some extra cash online? Then maybe you have already encountered Mingle. It claims you can help improve the products of tomorrow and get paid at the same time.

But is Mingle legit and really a way to earn, or is it a scam?

Let me just reveal right away that yes, Mingle Surveys is a legit survey site. It will indeed pay you for answering surveys and completing other tasks.

But that doesn’t tell you if the site is worth joining or not. I have tested it thoroughly, and in this Mingle Surveys review, you will get an inside look and learn all the details you need to know, so you’ll know exactly what to expect before you join.

What is Mingle, and what does it offer?

As mentioned above, Mingle is a survey site that will pay you to answer their surveys. It also has a couple of other earning opportunities to earn more rewards.

And speaking of earning opportunities, let’s first discuss how you can earn from this site to get an overall picture of how it works and get an idea of how well you can earn from it. So, here are the earning opportunities offered by Mingle.

Option 1 – Paid Surveys

The main way to earn from Mingle is to answer paid surveys. This opportunity is pretty straightforward. From time to time, you will be invited to participate in a survey. The survey invite will be sent via email since Mingle doesn’t have a member dashboard like most survey sites do.

So, you’ll have to check your email inbox regularly to see if there are available surveys from Mingle. When you receive an invite, just click the link in the email, and it will take you to the survey you need to answer.

Most of the time, the survey will not ask you to go through a qualifying process like other survey sites will ask you to do. But sometimes they do. The good thing is, if you take the qualification test and fail to qualify, you will still receive 10 points just for taking the time to answer their qualification questions.

This is a good thing since there aren’t a lot of survey sites that give out rewards even if you fail to qualify. Now, when you complete a survey, you will receive the appropriate number of points promised in the survey invite.

Option 2 – Product Testing

From time to time, Mingle will also send you a product to test and give feedback about it. I personally haven’t done this opportunity as I have not been invited to this yet, so I can’t attest to how the actual process works.

But based on my experience, the product testing process usually starts with an email containing all the necessary instructions and the link to where you can provide your feedback for the product after testing it.

Once you’ve provided your feedback, you have to submit it to Mingle and wait for them to review your work. If everything is in order, you will receive compensation for giving feedback. You also get to keep the product they sent you.

If you don’t give feedback, they will stop sending you products. So, it is in your best interest to keep doing those product reviews if you want to keep receiving free stuff.

Option 3 – Polls

Mingle has a mobile app you can download (which I will discuss later) so you can answer short polls to earn rewards. You first have to install their app though and you can’t find the link to their app page so you’ll have to search for it in the Android app store.

mingle polls
You can earn small rewards by answering their short polls.

Polls are straightforward. These are just questions you need to answer and it is in the form of multiple choice. So, it’s very easy to do and not time-consuming.

All you have to do is log in to the app and check if there are polls available. As shown in the photo above, you just have to choose your answer, and that’s it. You’ll then receive a small number of points (usually 5 points) for every poll you answer.

It’s not a lot but considering it takes little effort to complete, it’s still a nice thing to do to earn some extra points.

Option 4 – Prize Draws

Mingle will also hold prize draws from time to time. These prize draws will give you a chance to win gift cards for various sites like Spotify, Netflix, etc.

prize draw of mingle
You can also join their prize draws to win gift cards for Netflix, Spotify, and more.

You will automatically be entered into their prize draw as soon as you answer your welcome survey after you register to the site. Then, to earn more entries, you just have to keep answering surveys. Some of the surveys they offer don’t reward you with points but with entries to their prize draws.

So, just be on the lookout for those types of surveys. Their prize draws typically runs for a month, and the winner will always be announced on the first day of the next month. So you have ample time to get entries.

How do you get paid?

For every survey, poll, and review you complete, you will earn a certain number of points. The points will be credited to your account balance. And a great thing is that your points do not expire as long as you earn at least 1 point in a year.

Your points used to expire after 3 months, so this is a great improvement.

You can use your points to redeem various gift cards, or you can convert them to cash via direct bank transfer.

You have to log in to the platform to redeem rewards using the points you’ve earned. As for the rewards you can redeem, you have the choice to redeem gift cards for Amazon, Marks & Spencer, or Zalando. If you want to convert your points to cash, you can do so via direct bank transfer.

The minimum required number of points to redeem a gift card is 1,500. That will be worth £12. For direct bank transfers, you will need 2,000 points which will be worth £16. You can also choose to donate your earnings to any of the charity organizations Mingle supports (Amnesty International, WWF, Doctors Without Borders, and UNICEF).

Their payment system is very straightforward and I like that they offer payment via direct bank transfer. That’s a very convenient payment option, in my opinion.

If you are looking for more sites that offer a convenient payment method, I recommend you also check out the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.

How much money can you make?

The amount of money you can earn from Mingle will mostly depend on how many surveys you can complete. The other earning opportunities the site offers are not often offered, so it’s quite hard to rely on them.

So, for this review, we’ll look at their paid surveys since this is the most common opportunity on Mingle. They do have a decent number of surveys available, so you’ll be able to earn rewards on a semi-regular basis.

As for how well the site pays, you will usually earn around 50 points per survey you complete. So, that would be around £0.4 per survey. It’s not bad, but it’s not that great either. It will take some time before you can reach their payout threshold.

This is a bit problematic, in my opinion, as it takes quite a long time for you to reach their threshold.

Can you use it on mobile?

As already explained earlier, Mingle Surveys has a mobile app you can download. The app used to only be available for Android devices, but now you can also get the Mingle app for iOS.

The Mingle Surveys app can be downloaded for both Android and iOS devices.

As for the app, it is very user-friendly. You won’t have a hard time getting used to how it works. It’s also not spammy. You won’t encounter any annoying ads like you usually would with some survey apps.

Who can join Mingle?

Mingle is only available in Europe in select countries. At the time of updating this review, it is available in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria.

If you don’t live in any of these countries, then Mingle is not for you. To become a member, you just have to fill out the registration form on their website.

If you live in Europe, you can become a member by filling out the registration form.

Then, Mingle will send you an email to confirm your registration. But unlike other survey sites where you only need to click a link to confirm your registration, in Mingle’s case, you will have to answer a survey to complete the registration process.

Once you finish the survey, you will be a verified member of Mingle. You can then download the app and install it so you can start earning. At least, that’s how I did it when I registered to the site. But you can also just sign up using the app as well.

Can you get support?

If you have any questions about the site or the app, you can refer to their FAQ page first. It has quite a lot of info – this is another aspect they have improved compared to when I tested it the very first time. Now, there is a fairly good chance you can find the answer you are looking for on that page.

You can also go to their app and access the FAQ page from there. Now, if you can’t find the answers you are looking for, you can get in touch with their support team instead.

You can find the link for this at the bottom of the website, or you can go through the app. Overall, I would say Mingle has a decent support system in place for its members.

Final Verdict

Mingle is a legit survey site that will pay you for answering their surveys. It has a couple of good features, but there are some drawbacks you need to be aware of.

So, let me end this review with a summary of its pros and cons to give you an overview of what the site has to offer. Then, you can decide if it is a good fit for you or not.

pros

Pros:

  • Offers a simple way to earn
  • You can withdraw your earnings via direct bank transfer
  • The app is user-friendly
cons

Cons:

  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Fairly low rewards

Mingle Surveys, in my opinion, is not for everyone. It is a decent site to join if you are eligible to become a member. But it has limited earning potential compared to many other survey sites.

That, in my opinion, is its biggest disadvantage. Therefore, you should make sure to also join other sites to earn regularly.

Now, if you are looking for better ways to earn extra cash online, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites on this list all have good earning potential, and your rewards will not expire after a certain period.

Plus, you will definitely find a site you can join regardless of where you live.
