NewsPay App Review – Should You Join? (Learn the Truth)

NewsPay Rating

NewsPay is not worth your time because of the very low rewards it offers and the poor user experience it provides. You are simply better off using other apps or sites to earn extra cash because you’ll have to invest a lot of time just to earn $1 from it.

NewsPay is a mobile app that claims you can earn money just by reading. So, if you want to earn extra cash, you might be tempted to install it. After all, it does sound like a very easy way to earn.

However, before you hit the install button, I urge you to read this NewsPay app review because it will reveal the truth of what it offers. That way, you will know exactly what to expect from it.

Then, you can determine if it is an app worth using or not. So, let’s get this review started, shall we?

What is NewsPay, and what does it offer?

NewsPay is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will reward you for “reading” articles and completing tasks. But to find out if it is worth it, you must first understand how it works.

The only way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort must be invested in this app to earn.

The video below explains exactly how NewsPay works. You can also read the full details below the video.

Option 1 – Reading Articles

The main way to earn from NewsPay is by “reading” articles. When you log in to the app, you will immediately see all the articles you can read. Just pick an article you want to read and click it.

how to earn from newspay
You have to supposedly read news articles to earn.

Then, you’ll be taken to the article, and you will see some kind of progress bar at the top. To make the progress bar load, you’ll have to scroll down the article. You don’t actually have to read the article to earn. You just make it look like you are reading, which means you’ll have to scroll down slowly.

Now, the progress bar will have some sort of checkpoint where the earning process will be interrupted. When you reach a checkpoint, you’ll be asked if you want to view the ad or continue reading. If you want to earn, you must choose to view the ad.

So, in reality, you’ll be paid to watch an ad instead of reading an article. If you reach all the checkpoints and view all the ads, you can move on to the next article because you won’t earn any more points from it.

It’s a simple process but a bit annoying, in my opinion, because you’ll encounter a lot of pop-up video ads. In fact, you’ll spend more time watching the ads than scrolling down to get to the next checkpoint.

That being said, there are a good number of articles you can “read”, so you can regularly earn from them. However, you’ll only earn a few hundred coins per article (later, I will explain what you can do with the coins).

Option 2 – Daily Tasks

Another way you can earn is from NewsPay’s daily tasks. You can go to the “Task” section of the app to see all the daily tasks you can do to earn additional gold coins.

You can earn additional rewards from daily tasks.

The first task you will see is the daily check-in task, where you can claim coins for free just by checking in once per day. However, you’ll have to view a video ad to claim it.

Another task that you will see is to read a certain number of articles per day (usually 10 articles). It’s an easy task to complete because you are asked to do what you are supposed to do in the app, which is “read” articles.

Another task is to share the app with 10 of your friends. In other words, you’ll have to invite 10 people to sign up as members of NewsPay. This, in my opinion, is not a task you can easily complete because NewsPay is not really something you should promote to your friends, in my opinion, and later, you will understand why.

So, this opportunity will let you earn additional coins, but they won’t significantly increase your earnings. Just think of them as a guideline on what you need to do when you are in the app.

Option 3 – Surveys and Offerwalls

You can also earn more rewards by answering surveys and working on offerwalls. However, there are better sites and apps you can do this on than NewsPay, so I won’t elaborate much on this.

The reason why is that the rewards you will receive by answering surveys and completing offers through NewsPay will be very low, so it’s not worth your time.

How do you get paid?

All the earning opportunities NewsPay offers will reward you with gold coins. The question is, what can you do with the coins you’ve earned?

Well, that would depend on your country, but the most common option is to convert them to cash via PayPal.

newspay payout options
You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal.

As you can see in the photo above, you’ll need a lot of coins just to withdraw $1 (100,000 coins). The smallest amount you can withdraw is $0.05, but it doesn’t really make sense to withdraw that amount because you’ll have to deal with transfer fees. You’ll end up getting next to nothing if you withdraw a very small amount.

Some other options you can go for are Amazon gift cards and crypto like Bitcoin and Litecoin. The conversion rate will still be the same (100,000 coins to $1).

Overall, I would say its payout system is relatively straightforward, but as you can see, you’ll need to earn a lot of coins to withdraw a significant amount, and that will take a lot of time, in my opinion.

If you prefer a site or app that will let you withdraw your earnings quickly, I suggest you check out the fastest paying sites instead.

How much money can you make?

When “reading” an article, you’ll earn a maximum of around 400 to 500 coins per article. If you convert that to cash, that will be less than a cent. So, you’ll practically have to read thousands of articles just to earn a few dollars from NewsPay.

And that will take a lot of time to do, which is why I would say its time-to-money ratio is very low. You will have to invest a lot of time just to earn $1, which is not a good thing.

That’s why I would categorize its earning potential as very low, which is the main reason why it’s not something worth recommending to your friends. There are better options out there if you want to earn efficiently.

Can you use it on a desktop?

NewsPay is a mobile-only platform, so you will need to use a mobile device to earn from it. As for the app, it will only work with Android devices, so if you are an iOS user, then this is not for you. I suggest you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

newspay app
The app is only compatible with Android devices.

Now, as explained earlier, when you are using the app, you will have to deal with a lot of video ads, which are quite spammy, in my opinion. The ads also tend to promote unrealistic and scam ways to earn, so I suggest you ignore them.

Even though it sounds like it offers a convenient way to earn since you can do it on your phone, the overall user experience it provides isn’t great, mainly because of the spammy ads you will encounter. It is just very annoying to keep closing ads to proceed to the next step, in my opinion.

Who can join NewsPay?

The app doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but from what I can tell, it is available globally, so you should be able to sign up as a member regardless of where you live. To sign up, you must download and install the app first.

Then, when you open the app for the first time, you will be asked to sign up. It will only take less than a minute to complete the registration process. Once you are done registering, you can log in to the dashboard and start earning.

Can you get support?

If you have questions about the app, you’ll have to contact support directly because it doesn’t have a Help or FAQ page you can check out. To contact support, just go to the profile section of the app and click the Contact Us link.

You can also email them directly at newspay.help@gmail.com. Overall, even though it provides a convenient way to ask for help, it would still have been better if NewsPay provided a Help or FAQ you can check out to reduce the instances of having to contact support.

Final Verdict

NewsPay is a legit app that will let you earn by supposedly reading articles. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has a few limitations you need to consider.

Let me finish this review by summarizing its pros and cons so you can see a clear overview of what it offers. Then, you will understand why it’s not worth your time.

  • Available worldwide
