What is Opinion Plus, and what does it offer?

As mentioned, Opinion Plus is a survey site that will pay you for completing survey offers. It has been around since 2010.

One thing to note about Opinion Plus is that it is now known as Opinions4Good. So, when you Google Opinion Plus, the top result will actually be another site also called Opinion Plus. That's not the site we are talking about.

Instead, you have to look for the one that says Op4G.

To understand the earning potential of this survey site, we have to take a closer look at how you will be able to earn from it.

So here's an in-depth look at its earning opportunity.

The earning opportunity – Paid Surveys

The only way for you to earn from Opinion Plus is by completing paid survey offers.

opinion plus paid surveys
Complete survey offers to earn rewards.

Once you are a registered member of the panel, you can log in to the site and start taking surveys. Once you are in the member dashboard, you will see all the available survey offers you can take.

You will also see the reward for completing the survey. This is a good piece of information to know ahead of time because it allows you to prioritize which surveys to take.

So, if you are strapped for time, you can just take the surveys with higher rewards. That way, you can be more efficient in earning.

To take a survey, just click the “Take” button. It will then redirect you to the survey page. You will have to verify that you are not a robot. So, make sure to check the captcha box first.

Once that's done, you will then have to answer a set of qualifying questions. Most of the questions will be related to the field the survey is targeting. For example, if a survey is looking for food-service operators, the qualifying questions will be related to food-service.

If you qualify, you will then be able to answer the actual survey. Once you complete the survey, the reward will then be credited to your Opinion Plus account balance.

If you don't qualify, the process stops there. You will not receive any compensation for the time you spent answering the qualifying questions.

In my experience, not a lot of survey sites offer this.

You also have the choice to disregard the survey offer by clicking the “Dismiss” button. When you do that, you will be effectively removing the offer from the list of available surveys.

I'm not sure what the point of this additional feature is. It might just be there to make sure you will be able to remove survey offers you know you won't qualify for. That way, you will also be able to easily recognize new offers.

How do you get paid?

Every survey offer you complete on Opinion Plus will allow you to earn a specific amount.

opinion plus payment
You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal.

In order to withdraw your earnings, as you can see in the photo above, you need to reach a minimum of $10. The payout will be done once a month.

The next payout processing date will be shown in your earnings summary, so you will know when you will receive your earnings.

They do not mention on their site how the payment process goes (which is the common problem of their site). But based on feedback from long-time members, you will be paid instantly via PayPal if you meet the $10 threshold at the time of the payout date.

In my opinion, while it's good that they process the payment automatically as long as you meet the threshold, it would still be better if they also gave you the choice to withdraw your earnings any day you want.

That would make their payment system much more versatile and convenient.

All in all, it's still a decent payment system because they will pay you via PayPal, which, in my opinion, is the most convenient and common payment gateway available today.

If you are interested in other survey sites that pay via PayPal, I recommend you also check out the top survey sites that pay via PayPal.

How much money can you make?

Seeing as the site only has one earning opportunity, don't expect to earn a lot from it.

The earning potential of any survey site will depend on the number of survey invites you will receive, the number of surveys you will qualify for and the reward you will get for each survey completed.

In terms of rewards, Opinion Plus has a pretty decent reward rate. It's higher than most survey sites. So, if you receive more invites and qualify for them, you stand to earn a decent amount of money.

But seeing as most of the survey offers are centered on specific fields, there's a high chance you won't qualify to complete a lot of surveys.

To increase your chances of earning more from this site, you have to make sure you complete your demographic profile so you have a higher chance of receiving more survey invites.

All in all, even though their payout threshold is relatively low, the earning potential of the site is just too low because there is no other way for you to supplement your earnings, like say a referral program.

Can you use it on mobile?

opinion plus mobile site

Opinion Plus is accessible on a mobile device only via a mobile web browser. They don't have an app you can download to your mobile device.

You will be able to log in to their site using a mobile browser conveniently because the site is optimized for mobile use. So, if you were hoping to use your mobile device to complete surveys, you will be able to do so.

One thing to note about their site though is, there really isn't any information about how their survey panel works.

Their survey panel has a different URL than their main website. All the information about Op4G is found on their main website. The problem is, the information available on their website is geared towards getting clients to partner with them.

You won't find anything useful about how their survey panel works on their main website. So, if you have any questions, you will have to rely on their support (which I will discuss later) to get answers.

This, in my opinion, is not a good way to attract potential members. Normally, with other survey sites, you will find basic information about how you can work on their panel. Sadly, you won't find that from Opinion Plus.

This makes the site less user-friendly compared to other legit survey sites out there.

Who can join Opinion Plus?

This survey panel is only available for residents in the US and Canada. So, if you don't live in the US or Canada, you won't be eligible to join.

If you are, you also have to be at least 13 years of age in order to join. However, this is a bit contradicting because as you may know, the minimum age to have a PayPal account is 18 years old.

If you want to receive your payment, you have to sign up for a PayPal account and you can only do that if you are at least 18 years of age.

To register as a member, just fill out the registration form and hit submit. You will then have to answer a sort of survey to build up your demographic profile.

Once you are done with your demographic profile, you will be able to log in to their member dashboard. You will also receive a $2 sign-up bonus as a reward for becoming a member of their panel.

Can you get support?

Being able to get support is a very important aspect seeing as Opinion Plus don't really offer any information about how their survey panel works.

opinion plus support
You can email their support team if you have any inquiries.

Although you will be able to get in touch with their support team by emailing them, it would have been better if they provided a FAQ section (like most survey sites do) just to cover some of the basic topics about the site.

That way, they could reduce the volume of inquiries from members. It's a small thing really, but it can go a long way towards improving the user experience.

They also have a Facebook and a Twitter page you can visit for more updates. But if you are looking to get support, I still recommend you email them instead of contacting them via those two platforms.

Final Verdict

Opinion Plus is a legit survey site that will pay you for completing survey offers.

But that does not mean it will necessarily be worth your time. To help you decide if you should register or not, here's a summary of its pros and cons.

pros

Pros:

  • Relatively high rewards for surveys completed
  • Relatively low payout threshold
cons

Cons:

  • Site is not user-friendly
  • Low earning potential
  • Limited earning opportunities

The main thing that makes this survey panel not an ideal choice is its low earning potential. There's only one way to earn, which is to answer surveys. And based on feedback from long-time members, you won't get to complete a lot.

So, even though they have a relatively low payout threshold, it will still take quite some time to reach the payout threshold.

The lack of information on their site also doesn't help. In my opinion, they stand to benefit more if they just provide more information about their survey panel on their site.

If you are looking for survey sites that will allow you to earn more, I suggest you check out the top survey sites in your country instead.

You will find plenty of survey sites on this list with better earning potential and all of them are more user-friendly than Opinion Plus, in my opinion. Also, you will be able to find a survey site for you regardless of where you live.
