Tik Tube Review – Legit or a Scam? (The Truth Revealed)

Tik Tube is an app that claims you can easily earn hundreds of dollars by watching videos.

Over the years, I have seen hundreds of apps make this kind of claim, and most of the time, they end up being a waste of time.

So, is Tik Tube legit and really a fast way to earn, or is it a fake scam to stay away from?

I have tested the app to see how it works, and let me just reveal right away that there are some very important details you need to know.

In this Tik Tube review, I will reveal the full truth of what the app offers so you can find out if it is worth using or not.

What is Tik Tube, and what does it offer?

Tik Tube is an app where you supposedly can earn high rewards by watching videos. And as mentioned above, there are a few things you need to know about this app.

The best way to start is by explaining how you can earn from this app so you will get an idea of what you need to do to supposedly earn the rewards.

Option 1 – Watching videos

The primary way to earn rewards from Tik Tube is to watch videos. Once you’ve installed the app, just log in, and you will immediately see the videos you can watch. Just press any video, and then you will see something similar to the photo below.

When you watch a video, what happens is you will keep accumulating coins. As shown in the photo above, you will see a coin icon on the upper right-hand side of your screen. You can press the icon anytime if you want to collect the coins you’ve earned by watching the video.

And mind you, all the videos you will watch are actually pretty useless and uninteresting, so while the premise of this opportunity sounds interesting, it’s actually quite boring in reality.

After you click the coin icon, you will be asked if you want to claim your coins. If you click the “Claim” button, a pop-up video ad will appear. You will have to finish watching the ad to continue the process. The ad will usually last 30 seconds.

The ads that will be shown will always be about other mobile apps that offer outrageous claims or get-rich-quick schemes, so I highly recommend you ignore what the ads are promoting. After you finish viewing an ad, the coins will be awarded to you and credited to your account.

I do have to say that the app is quite generous when giving out coins, which made me suspicious from the start.

When I was testing the app, it only took me around 10 minutes to earn enough coins to reach the payout threshold.

Option 2 – Raffle

The other way you can supposedly earn rewards is by joining their raffle. I know that this is not a guaranteed way to earn, but I decided to include it anyway, mainly because of what you need to do to participate in this opportunity.

To earn an entry in the raffle, you just have to watch two video ads. Again, the ads you will be watching will mostly be the same ads as when watching videos, so just ignore these ads. This is how Tik Tube earns – by getting people to watch video ads.

Now, you might think that it’s all good and you can just power through the spammy ads since you will be able to earn. But in the next section, I will explain what will happen when you try to cash out.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you will earn coins from watching videos, and you can supposedly win electronic gadgets from their raffle.

However, as you can see in the photo below, the app has a ridiculously high payout threshold ($500 for PayPal withdrawals).

But as I’ve mentioned earlier, it won’t actually take that long to earn enough coins to make a withdrawal via PayPal. This made me suspicious about whether the app really pays or not.

And my suspicion was confirmed when I tried to make a withdrawal. You see, once you earn enough coins and make a withdrawal via PayPal (or any payout method for that matter), you will be presented with an additional condition you need to meet to complete the withdrawal.

You will be asked to watch 25 video ads within the span of 24 hours or pay $0.99 to bypass this requirement and withdraw your earnings directly.

This, in my opinion, is a huge red flag. Whenever I encounter apps that will ask for additional requirements when you withdraw your earnings, you will never receive the amount, in my experience.

I have encountered a lot of apps and sites that do the same thing, and none of them ever pay you, so there’s no reason for this app to be any different.

I, therefore, advise you to NOT pay the $0.99 fee even though it might be tempting since you will receive $500 because they will just add an additional requirement again for you to complete the withdrawal.

In the end, you will still not receive your earnings. That’s why I would say I recommend you check out the best sites that pay via PayPal instead if you want sites that offer guaranteed earnings.

Red flags you need to be aware of

Before we conclude this review, let me lay out the red flags of this app so you will know what to look out for in the future.

#1 – Ridiculously high payout threshold

You always have to be wary about sites or apps that have a high payout threshold ($100 or more). The reason why I say this is because reaching that kind of threshold is almost always impossible.

Usually, legit apps and sites will have a threshold of $10 to $20. That’s the realistic amount you can expect. There are even apps and sites that have no payout threshold. So, for an app to have a threshold of $100, it’s almost tantamount to saying you won’t be able to reach it and get paid, in my opinion.

This is why I consider extremely high payout thresholds to be a red flag.

#2 – Additional conditions for withdrawing earnings

As I’ve explained earlier, it is a huge red flag when an app suddenly introduces additional conditions when you withdraw your earnings. It’s like they are adding an additional hurdle for you to clear to receive your earnings.

And most of the time, these hurdles are quite impossible to clear, so you will most likely just end up not meeting them. As a result, they have an excuse not to pay you, which was their intention right from the start.

And based on my experience, even if you clear the first hurdle, they will just add another one to stop you from making a withdrawal.

#3 – Very generous rewards

Another red flag that Tik Tube has is that it is very generous with the rewards it gives you. As I’ve mentioned earlier, it only took me around 10 minutes to earn enough coins to supposedly make a PayPal withdrawal.

If you really think about it, no app or site will pay you $500 just to watch useless video ads for 10 minutes. That’s simply not possible. If they would really pay you that amount, they would go bankrupt in just a matter of hours.

This is just the usual ploy that apps do to hook you in so you keep using their app.

#4 – Displays unethical or spammy ads

While ads aren’t necessarily a bad thing since it’s one way for a site or an app to generate income to afford to pay its members, the ads that they show are a different matter.

In my opinion, only unethical apps or sites show spammy or unethical ads.

Final Thoughts

Tik Tube is an app that will supposedly reward you for watching videos. As you can see, it doesn’t offer any upside, only drawbacks.

But let me summarize its pros and cons to give you a clear picture of what exactly Tik Tube has to offer. Then, you will understand why I would you should stay away from this app.

In case it’s not clear, I recommend you do not waste your time on Tik Tube. While their claim may sound tempting, you will never receive your earnings from it. You are better off investing your time in sites and apps that really pay you.
