Do you love playing mobile games? If so, there’s an app called Tyr Rewards that claims you can earn money by playing games.
Now, I can’t tell you how many apps I’ve encountered over the years that make the same claim.
Based on experience, not a lot of them are worth it. So the question is, is Tyr Rewards worth using?
Well, that’s what this Tyr Rewards review will help you find out.
In this review, I will explain all the details of what it offers so you will know exactly what to expect from it. Then you can decide if it is an app you should invest your time into or not.
So let’s go ahead and take a closer look at Tyr Rewards, shall we?
What is Tyr Rewards, and what does it offer?
At its core, Tyr Rewards is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will reward you for playing its featured mobile games. You can really earn rewards from it, but that doesn’t automatically mean the app is worth using.
To find out if you should download and install it, you must first understand how it works. And the best way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers.
For that, I have made a video that gives you an inside look and shows exactly how you can earn from Tyr Rewards. You can also read all the details below the video.

Option 1 – Playing Mobile Games
The primary way to earn from Tyr Rewards is to play mobile games. When you log in to the app, you can view all the games you can play by pressing the “Offers” section.
However, before you can start earning, you will have to enable the app to track your data usage. During your first time opening the app, Tyr Rewards will ask you to do this. Just allow it to track your data usage because this is how the app manages to track your progress when playing mobile games.
Once you’ve done that, you can start earning immediately. Now, as you can see in the photo above, every game will reward you with a certain number of points. To earn the rewards, you’ll need to hit a certain level.
Some games will reward you several times, but the total rewards you will always receive from a game will be what’s indicated in the offer. So before you start playing, you have to check out the levels you need to reach to earn the reward so you will know when to stop playing.
Take note that you’ll have to install these games on your mobile device, so make sure your device has enough space for these games. You can just uninstall them once you’ve earned all the rewards. Plus, these games don’t eat up a lot of memory from your device.
The one thing I noticed about this opportunity is that while it does appear like you are earning high rewards, it doesn’t pay a lot. Plus, it will take a significant amount of time to earn the full rewards. Later, I will expound more on this so you will understand why it only appears like you are earning a lot.
Option 2 – Referral Program
The other way to earn from Tyr Rewards is by inviting other people to join the app. This opportunity is called a referral program, and it is commonly seen on GPT sites and apps.
The way this works is you invite people to download and install the app by sharing your invite link with them. When they install the app and sign up as a member using your link, they will become your referral.
However, for you to earn from your referral, they must be an active member. In other words, they must also play mobile games. When they do so, you will receive a 10% commission every time they earn.
It’s a decent way to earn passively, in my opinion, but you need to make sure you invite people who are really interested in earning from it if you want to earn from this opportunity.

How do you get paid?
As explained above, you’ll earn a certain number of points from playing mobile games and through the referral program. But what can you do with the points you’ve earned? Luckily, you have several options.
You can redeem various rewards like Binance cash or game currencies for popular games like Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, and more. The type of rewards you can redeem will depend on the country you live in.
The coins required will depend on the reward you want to claim. For example, if you want to redeem Binance money, you’ll need to earn at least 5,005,000 points. That will be worth $50. Some rewards will require fewer coins, but basically, you will still have to earn a minimum of 1,000,000 points (which will be worth around $10) to redeem a reward.
Most rewards offered have a high threshold, so it will take a lot of time to redeem a reward which is, in my opinion, the biggest drawback of Tyr Rewards. Plus, as you can see, the closest thing to earning money from it is the Binance credit.
Most rewards that are worth it, in my opinion, will require a lot of points. So you will have to invest a lot of time to redeem a reward. If you prefer apps or sites that have a low payout threshold, I recommend you check out the fastest paying sites instead.
How much money can you make?
The amount you can earn from Tyr Rewards will mostly depend on how much time you are willing to invest in it. There’s a decent number of games you can play, so you will not run out of opportunities to earn.
But the question is, are you earning efficiently?
And my answer to that is NO. You see, the total points you can earn from a game will usually only range from 50,000 to 200,000 points. If you put that into perspective, you’ll only earn around $0.5 to $2 per game, which might not sound so bad, but the time it takes to earn that kind of amount will still be very long.
So if you want to redeem the Binance reward, which will essentially require you to earn $50, you’ll have to spend hundreds of hours playing mobile games. That, in my opinion, is not time well spent.
The time-to-money ratio of Tyr Rewards, in my opinion, is atrocious. That’s why I would say the earning potential of Tyr Rewards is very low. Plus, the games you can play aren’t that interesting as well. So if you are a gamer, you might find these games a bit boring.
Can you use it on a desktop?
Tyr Rewards is a mobile-only platform, so you will need a mobile device if you want to earn from it. As for the app, you can only download it from the Android app store. It doesn’t have an iOS version, so if you are an iOS user, I recommend you check out the best money making apps for iOS instead.
The app is relatively easy to use, so you won’t have a hard time getting used to how it works. Plus, you won’t encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using it, which is the one good thing about this app, in my opinion.
Who can join Tyr Rewards?
The app doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide.
The best way to check if it is available in your country is to search for it on Google Play. If it appears among the results, then that means it is available in your country.
To register as a member, you have to install the app first. Then when you open the app for the first time, you’ll have to go through the sign-up process. As shown in the photo above, you can sign up using your own login details, or you can also use your Google account (I personally chose the latter when I was testing the app).
Then, as mentioned earlier, you’ll have to allow the app to track your data usage. Once you’ve done that, you can start playing mobile games to earn rewards.
Can you get support?
The app doesn’t have a support or FAQ page, so if you have any questions, you’ll have to direct your inquiry to the only type of support the app offers, which is a Discord channel.
You’ll have to join their Discord channel if you want to get in touch with their support representative. So overall, I would say the app does provide the minimum required support since it offers a way for you to get assistance.
But I do wish they would at least provide a support or FAQ page to minimize the instances of having to chat with their support team on Discord.
Final Verdict
Tyr Rewards is a GPT app that will reward you for playing mobile games. It has a couple of decent features but it also has a few limitations you need to consider.
Let me wrap up this review by summarizing its pros and cons to give you an overview of what the app has to offer. Then you can decide if it is worth it or not.
Pros:
- The app is user-friendly
- Has a decent number of games you can play
Cons:
- Low rewards
- The app doesn’t have an iOS version
- High payout threshold for most rewards
- The games it features aren’t that interesting and fun
In my opinion, Tyr Rewards is not an app that is worth your time. If you are looking to earn while playing games, there are better options out there since this doesn’t pay that well. Plus, the games they feature aren’t really interesting, so you might get bored quickly.
It also doesn’t help that most of the rewards it offers have a high payout threshold, so you will have to invest a lot of time just to redeem one reward. That’s why you are better off investing your time in apps or even sites with a significantly higher earning potential.
So if the goal is just to earn extra cash, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time to earn a decent amount.

If you have any comments, questions, or experience with Tyr Rewards, I would love to hear from you in a comment below.
Their app has went straight to being a scam. They claim to pay decent but then for the bigger rewards they always reject your ticket. Contact support and they say not out problem, basically. They are truly crap.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Personally I haven’t had a problem. Yesterday I had an issue getting a $50 payout and it was resolved within 8 hours. I’ve cashed out approximately $170 since installing it six months ago. They have an online and in-game FAQ page, which isn’t bad, plus their AI will answer basic questions. If you still have a question/problem, like I did, submit a tickets and they get back reasonably fast.
