CashDay App Review: Legit or Scam? (An Inside Look)

CashDay Rating

CashDay is not an app worth using because of the very low earning potential it offers. It will take a long time before you can earn a decent amount from it.

CashDay is an app that claims you can earn money daily when using it. Over the years, I have tested hundreds of apps that offer the same thing, and based on my experience, not all of them are worth it or even legit.

The question now is, is CashDay legit or a scam?

This CashDay app review will give you an inside look so you will know exactly what to expect before installing it. Then, you can decide if it is worth it or not.

So, let’s dive in.

What is CashDay, and what does it offer?

CashDay is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will reward you for answering surveys and playing games. And yes, it is legit because you can earn money from it. However, that doesn’t mean you should automatically use it.

To find out if it is worth it, you must understand how it works. The best way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear idea of how well you can earn and how much time you must invest.

So, here’s how to earn.

Option 1 – Paid Surveys

The first way to earn from CashDay is to answer surveys. When you log in to the app, you must press the Earn button to access the surveys. Then, you’ll be taken to the survey provider that offers the surveys. When I was testing the app, it was BitLabs.

cashday paid surveys
You can earn rewards by answering surveys.

If it’s your first time doing this, you’ll have to answer profile questions so that the survey provider can find out which surveys to send your way. After you finish the profile questions, you’ll see all the available surveys you can answer.

To start, just pick a survey you want to answer and click it. Then, you’ll have to answer a set of qualifying questions to determine if you belong to the group the survey was made for. If you qualify, you get to proceed to the actual survey.

If you don’t qualify, then you just move on to the next survey available. When you complete a survey, you will receive a certain number of coins as a reward. Later, I will discuss what you can do with the coins you’ve earned.

The availability of surveys will depend on your location, and based on my experience, countries like the US, UK, and Canada offer the greatest number of surveys. For smaller countries, you’ll have to be very patient because there won’t be a lot of surveys available.

Option 2 – Playing Games

The other way to earn from CashDay is by playing mobile games. However, this opportunity will only be unlocked once you’ve hit your first payout.

When it is unlocked, just go to the Earn section and select the Games option to see all the games you can play. Once you’ve done this, just choose a game you want to play and install it.

To earn while playing, you must complete certain missions/requirements. Typically, you’ll be asked to reach a certain level in the game. Every time you complete a mission/requirement, you’ll receive the reward.

You can only earn a set number of coins per game, so if you’ve completed all the missions/requirements, I recommend you move on to the next game to maximize your earnings.

Now, what I noticed while testing was that there weren’t a lot of games to choose from. You can typically choose from four to five games at any given time, which is quite a small number compared to other apps and sites that offer this kind of opportunity.

Some games will also take quite a while to earn from, so you must be careful when choosing which games you want to play.

How do you get paid?

All of the earning opportunities CashDay offers will reward you with coins. But what can you do with these coins?

Well, you can convert them to cash via PayPal, which, by the way, is the only payout option CashDay offers.

payout options of cashday
You can withdraw your earnings via PayPal.

As shown in the photo above, the minimum amount you can withdraw via PayPal will be $0.02, worth 600 coins. The maximum amount you can withdraw will be $10, and that will require 160,000 coins, which is quite a lot, in my opinion.

The payout system of CashDay is relatively straightforward. However, I found the conversion rate of coins to PayPal cash weird. For example, if you want to withdraw $1, you must earn 20,000 coins.

So, you will expect that if you withdraw $10, the coins you need to earn will be 100,000 coins. But as you can see, you’ll need 160,000 coins for a $10 PayPal withdrawal. That’s why if you want to maximize the value of the coins you’ve earned, you should just withdraw $1 every time.

Overall, I would say CashDay's payout system is relatively straightforward. I like the fact that it offers a convenient payout method like PayPal. If you are interested in more apps and sites that use a convenient payout system, I suggest you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal.

How much money can you make?

The amount you can earn from CashDay pales in comparison to the more popular GPT sites and apps today. That’s because, for a GPT app, it doesn’t offer as many earning opportunities. Plus, it offers very low rewards.

For paid surveys, you can earn around 500 to 2,000 coins, but this will vary depending on the country you live in. That being said, it’s still a very low rate, in my opinion. The rewards are even lower for playing games.

This is why I would say its earning potential is very low. You will have to invest significant time just to earn $1.

Can you use it on a desktop?

CashDay is a mobile-only platform, so you’ll need a mobile phone to earn from it. As for the app, it is only available to Android users, so if you are an iOS user, this is not for you. I recommend you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

cashday app
The app only works with Android devices.

The app is relatively easy to use, and you won’t encounter annoying pop-up ads. One thing I noticed, though, is that it lacks information about what you need to do to earn. If you are new to this kind of app, it can take a few minutes to figure out what you need to do to earn.

Plus, a few things are missing, and I will tell you what they are in the next sections. This is why I would say the overall user experience it provides isn’t that great.

Who can join CashDay?

The app doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in. But as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. The best way to find out if it is available in your country is to search for it on Google Play. If it appears among the results, then it is available in your country.

After you install the app, you won’t be asked to sign in, which is one of the things that I said was missing in the app. Normally, with apps like this, you’ll be asked to sign in using your Google account or email address.

But with CashDay, after installing, you can start earning right away. This also means one thing – you can’t use the same account on a different device. And if you ever uninstall it, you will lose all your earnings. This is the main disadvantage of apps that don’t ask you to sign up.

Can you get support?

Another thing missing from the app is its Help or FAQ page. So, if you have questions or if you encounter issues while using it, you’ll have to contact support to resolve them. The problem is that the app also doesn’t have a Contact Us page.

I had to do some digging just to find their contact information. Apparently, you can email your inquiries to info@cashday.pro. I found this email address on their Google Play page.

Overall, while it does provide a way for you to contact support, it would have been better if this information was accessible via the app. It would have also helped if there was a Help or FAQ section to minimize the instances of having to contact support.

Final Verdict

CashDay is a GPT app that will reward you for answering surveys and playing games. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has certain limitations you must consider.

Let me summarize its pros and cons so you can get a clear overview of what CashDay offers. Then, you can decide if it is truly worth it or not.

pros

Pros:

  • Offers payment via PayPal
  • Available more or less worldwide
cons

Cons:

  • Offers very low rewards
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • No Help or FAQ section
  • Account is restricted to one device

In my opinion, CashDay is not an app worth using because of the very low earning potential it offers. It will take a long time before you can earn a decent amount from it because of the limited earning opportunities and very low rewards it offers.

You are better off investing your time in sites or apps that have better earning potential. For a list of these sites and apps, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The apps and sites on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a significant amount quickly.

  1. Found your blog about 2 weeks ago and I have to say its the best site I’ve come across when it comes to reviews and awareness. You do a pretty good job.

As someone from Kenya (east Africa) most of these sites have little to no earning opportunity for someone who is looking for online earning opportunities.

With your knowledge, could you please advise on other alternative methods for people who are limited by geographical area.

  2. There seems to be a limit on game usage.
I ean several games to get points. I went on to install couple more games and no points.
I wonder if they have a “excessive earnings” cooldown lol. But these apps does have restrictions. Before they were against camping the games. But if it counts to the earnings, it benefits them.
Camping games and why have to actually play them. If the game is in use, it counts.
And they realized they were losing on players and allowed camping in which people would be happy to do and that gets them 3 times the amount of people.

If you can, Id like to know if they have a cooldown for excessive earnings.
I went from game to game. Such as 1min, 2mins, and ill check it and stop it at 10-15 mins and go on to the next game.
Im thinking they do have an excessive earnings codown. Still. Why? The more we try to earh fast, the more that benefits them.
More people camps for the points vs none.
Due to 10mins and 11mins and it detects those earnings are being “getting around the longer minutes”
The thing is, it doesnt make sense.
1min, 2mins, and up to what? 18? Thats give or take. 180 minutes. For 20k coins.
    As the 2x special.

When we can stop at 10mins on each game and get the same amoint of the total.

So im thinking for that 2x special. They must have an excessive earnings cooldown.

    • Thanks for sharing your experiences. As I mention in the review above, it is not a platform I recommend as a way to earn, as there are many better alternatives.

      • I use 4 phones.
        Cashday, cashway, mistplay, tapchamps.
        And camp them all 🙂
So maybe you can write a guide on how to get the best out of these apps by combining them in few phones and get the most cash out weekly.
Mistplay and TapChamps gives xp on camping but it it detects it and gives xp at a slower rate. Every few mins instead of every 1-2 mins.
