Cashyy Tube Review – Legit or Scam? (Full Truth Revealed)

Cashyy Tube is an app that claims you can quickly earn $500 just by watching videos.

Over the years, I have tested hundreds of apps that offer easy ways to earn money. Some of them also make exaggerated claims, and usually, these apps are not really legit.

So the big question is, is Cashyy Tube legit or a scam?

What is Cashyy Tube, and what does it offer?

Before we talk about what this app is, I would like to clarify a couple of things first. There’s another app called Cashyy, and it is different from Cashyy Tube. Cashyy will allow you to earn by playing games, while Cashyy Tube claims you can earn by watching videos. So they are two completely different apps.

Another thing I need to mention is that when I tested Cashyy Tube, I found out that for some reason, when you go to the support section of the app and click the link, it will sometimes take you to some of my videos and pages of my website. Let me just make it clear that I am NOT a part of their team, and I am, in no way, endorsing this app. 

Now that I’ve clarified a couple of things let’s talk about Cashyy Tube. This app, as mentioned above, claims you can earn by watching videos. It might sound tempting since it’s an easy way to earn. However, this doesn’t mean the app is truly worth using.

The earning opportunity – Claiming Prizes

When you log in to the app, you will immediately see all the videos you can watch. If you click a video and watch it, you’re supposed to earn rewards. That’s what you might expect from this app. But in reality, this is not the case.

Instead, for you to earn rewards, you need to click on the egg icon that will appear randomly on your screen. You will be asked to watch a video ad when you click this egg icon. The video ads usually last for 30 to 60 seconds, and once it is over, you will receive a certain number of coins. I do have to add that you will actually earn a lot of coins while doing this.

These coins are your rewards for watching the ad. All you have to do to keep getting coins is to keep clicking the egg icon when it appears and watch video ads. One thing to note is that the ads you will see are usually about get-rich-quick schemes that are not worth it, in my opinion.

So I highly suggest you ignore what the ads are promoting because they are not worth your time, in my opinion.

Now, you might be thinking that you just need to power through the ads shown to earn coins and hopefully earn enough to exchange it for cash or other rewards like you usually would with other online rewards apps.

But in the next section, I will discuss what will happen when you cash out. So to recap, to earn coins, you just need to click the egg that appears randomly on the app and watch video ads to earn coins. But there are a few issues you need to know, and I will explain them in the next sections.

How do you get paid?

Supposedly, what you need to do to get paid is to convert the coins you’ve earned from watching video ads. This is how it usually works with other online rewards sites. But when I tested Cashyy Tube, I didn’t find any cashout section or even a section where I could see all the coins I’ve earned.

I have been in contact with people from other countries regarding this issue, and it seems that the cashout section is only available in certain countries. Strangely enough, this section is not available in mine. So, to put it bluntly, I have no way of cashing out the coins I’ve earned.

This is a very big red flag, in my opinion. The fact that the app will only offer a way for you to cash out depending on your country is very misleading. They should just have told you that the app is not available in your country if they won’t allow you to cash out.

That would have been a fair approach, in my opinion. But instead, they will allow you to use the app even though you won’t really earn from them since that’s how they earn money. You see, this app gets paid for getting people to watch their video ads.

So what will happen is that if there’s no cashout option, they get to keep all the money they’ve earned from you watching video ads without sharing a percentage of it with you. It’s a clever idea, but it is also a very unethical one, in my opinion.

Plus, based on my experience, even if the cashout option is available in your country, you will still not be able to withdraw your earnings because the app will add a hidden requirement for you to cash out. Most of the time, it will ask you to pay a certain amount for you to withdraw your earnings.

From what I can gather, the threshold of the app is $500. When you earn that kind of amount, which you can actually do within an hour of using the app (which I found quite alarming), you can withdraw your earnings.

What will usually happen is that when you withdraw your earnings, the app will ask you to pay a certain amount, like $1 or so, to withdraw your earnings. Now you might think that it is worth paying since you’ll be receiving a significant amount.

But I highly urge you to never pay this because what will happen is that you’ll just encounter another hidden requirement that will prevent you from withdrawing your earnings. So, in the end, you’ve just wasted your money paying for something you will not get.

This is very common with apps like this, and I have actually encountered lots of them over the years. So to answer the question above, NO, you will never get paid for using this app. That’s why I recommend you check out the best sites that pay via PayPal instead if you want apps or sites that will really pay you.

Red flags you need to be aware of

As you can see, the app has a lot of red flags you need to be aware of. Let me elaborate on each red flag I noticed while I was testing the app, so you will know how to spot them in the future when you encounter apps or websites similar to this.

Red flag #1 – Exaggerated Earning Claims

Whenever you encounter an app or a site that offers exaggerated earning claims, you should always be wary. You see, no legit app or site will pay you hundreds of dollars just to watch videos. The most you can earn from this kind of earning opportunity will be a few cents.

You have to remember that with online rewards apps or sites, the rule of thumb will be the amount you earn will always be proportionate to the time and effort required to complete the earning opportunity. The more time and effort required to complete an opportunity, the higher the amount you will earn.

So if you see an app or site that claims you can earn a significant amount by doing effortless things, there is always something fishy going on.

Red flag #2 – Cashout methods have hidden requirements

Every time I encounter a site or app that is not transparent with how they will allow you to cash out, more often than not, you will end up not getting paid. Usually, apps or sites like these will add hidden requirements for you to withdraw your earnings.

Or in Cashyy Tube’s case, the cashout methods will only be available in certain countries. Legit apps or sites won’t even allow you to register if it is not available in your country. That’s how they filter those who are eligible to earn. They don’t disable the cashout method depending on your country.

Plus, based on my experience, these apps or sites will ask you to pay a certain amount, invite a certain number of people to join, watch a lot of video ads in a certain span of time, and more after you try to withdraw your earnings.

When you encounter things like this when you are about to cash out, even if you manage to meet the hidden requirement, they will add another hurdle you need to clear.

This cycle will continue until you give up trying to withdraw your earnings. All the while, the app or site has already earned money by asking you to watch video ads, play games, or complete tasks.

Legit sites and apps are always very clear about how you will be able to cash out. So before you decide on joining an app or a website, always check how you can cash out first. If the app or site won’t tell you how immediately, then there’s something fishy going on.

Red flag #3 – Shows ads that offer get-rich-quick schemes

Based on my experience, only unethical apps or sites that don’t plan to pay you show ads like these. Normally, these ads will offer exaggerated earning claims or what I would consider as get-rich-quick schemes.

So if you see something like that while using an app or a site, I recommend you immediately stop working on it because, chances are, you’ll never get paid.

Red flag #4 – Doesn’t offer support

As I’ve explained earlier, when I tried to check how the app provides support for its members, they redirected me to my website, which I found alarming and surprising. To repeat, I am in no way affiliated with this app, and I’m not part of their team.

If an app or site doesn’t offer any way for you to request assistance, it can usually only mean one thing. They already know what you will be complaining about, and they are not willing to accommodate your request.

Legit apps and sites are always willing to help you out in case you encounter any issues while using their platform. So if you don’t find any method to contact the support team, then I suggest you stay away from these apps or sites.

Red flag #5 – The app is in early-access mode

While this doesn’t necessarily mean that you should stay away from all apps that are in early access, it’s still a huge red flag, in my opinion. Unless the app is a mobile game, if you see it is on early access, then you should always be wary.

This red flag is typically found in the Android app store. I don’t know why Google still permits apps to do this, but more often than not, developers abuse this feature of the Google Play Store to avoid getting negative reviews.

Sometimes, these apps can stay in early access for months or even years just to avoid getting negative reviews, as users cannot leave reviews for apps that are in early access.

This is why I personally avoid online rewards apps set in this mode because they are usually suspicious and do something unethical.

Final Verdict

Cashyy Tube is an app that makes exaggerated claims and says that you can earn a lot of money simply by watching videos. It doesn’t offer any good features, just a lot of red flags.
