When the mission is completed, you will be awarded diamonds. You can use these diamonds to purchase mystery boxes. In the next section, I will explain in detail how you will be able to earn diamonds.

As for the mystery boxes, when you open them, you will receive a random prize, which will be free crypto. The missions will usually involve basic things you can do with the app like trading crypto, depositing money to your Crypto.com account, reading articles, and more. These missions are very easy to complete, and will usually not take a lot of time to finish.  

How to earn diamonds in the Crypto.com app?

Now that you know what to expect, let’s discuss the exact process of how to earn diamonds from the app. As mentioned above, you will earn diamonds as a reward for completing missions. But to earn diamonds, you have to first unlock the missions.

The first thing you have to do is log in to the app and click the “Missions” link found in the upper right-hand corner of the app. To work on the missions available for the day, you just have to click the “Unlock” button. You have to do this once a day to collect the free diamond.

Once you’ve done this step, then all you have to do is follow the instructions of the missions available to complete them. Most of the time, you’ll be asked to complete a transaction in the app. The diamonds you will earn from each mission will usually depend on the amount you need to spend to complete the mission.

For example, in the photo shown above, you will earn 60 diamonds for buying or selling $500 worth of crypto using the app. Now I suggest you only work on missions when the tasks they are asking you to do coincide with the goal you’ve set for using the app.

What I mean by this is that you have to keep in mind that you have to spend money to complete these missions. Don’t just spend money to earn diamonds. That would be counter-intuitive, in my opinion, because the reward you will receive will be significantly less than what you’ve spent.

So if a mission requires you to spend a certain amount, only do this mission if spending that kind of amount is in line with your investing strategy for the app. That would be the best way to maximize your “earnings” from Crypto.com.

So always evaluate if you stand to benefit from completing the missions before actually doing the mission. That would be my best suggestion on how you should approach the missions that Crypto.com offers.

How to get mystery boxes?

As explained above, you can exchange the diamonds you earn from missions for mystery boxes. To do so, just go to the Store section of the app to view all the things you can buy with the diamonds you’ve earned.

As you can see in the photo above, one mystery box will cost 25 diamonds. There are also other items you can buy, like NFTs.

But in my opinion, the mystery box is the best option because you can get a random amount of CRO, which is Crypto.com’s own cryptocurrency.

You will effectively be receiving money if you go for mystery boxes. This is how you are able to get easy free crypto from Crypto.com. The CRO you will get from mystery boxes will be stored in the Vault of Crypto.com. You can withdraw the CRO to your Crypto.com wallet anytime you want if you wish to trade it for other cryptocurrencies.

How much money can you earn?

It is important to note that you will usually not earn a lot from the free crypto you get from Crypto.com. As explained earlier, the amount of CRO you will receive from a mystery box will be random. But if you get really lucky, you can actually receive an amount of CRO equivalent to around $1,100, which is quite a huge amount, in my opinion.

I have not received this kind of amount from opening more than 20 mystery boxes, so it’s quite a rare occurrence, which means you can’t really rely on it. You will usually receive around 5 to 20 CROs per box you open.

That’s why I would say the earning potential of this opportunity is not that great. But as I’ve explained earlier, you should really only complete missions when it coincides with your investment strategy for Crypto.com.

You can just think of the free crypto you get from mystery boxes as a bonus for doing what you were supposed to do on the app.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, the mystery boxes you can open will allow you to get easy free crypto from Crypto.com. But as mentioned above, you normally won’t earn a lot from the free crypto you get. But if you get really lucky, you can earn a pretty significant amount from this opportunity.
