Survey Pay Review: Legit or Scam? (An Inside Look)

Survey Pay is a mobile app that claims you can earn extra cash quickly.

But is Survey Pay legit, or is it a scam?

I’m always looking for ways to earn extra cash online, so I decided to take it for a spin to find out if it really does what it claims to do.  

I will share everything I have learned about it in this Survey Pay review, so you don’t have to try it out just to figure out if it is worth it or not. Once you’ve read the review, you can make an informed decision on whether using it is a good idea or not.

What is Survey Pay, and what does it offer?

Survey Pay is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that offers a decent number of opportunities to earn. It is indeed a legit app since you will get paid for participating in the earning opportunities it offers.

But the question now is, is it worth it?

Well, to reach a conclusion, you must first understand how it works. That way, you can properly gauge how much time and effort you need to invest to earn a decent amount.

And the best way to do this is to look at the earning opportunities it offers. So, here’s how to earn from Survey Pay.

Option 1 – Paid Offers

One way to earn from Survey Pay is to work on their paid offers. When you log in to the app, all you have to do is go to the “Earn” section and press the Offerwall option. Then, you’ll see something similar to the photo below.

If you don’t know what a paid offer is, it is a short task you can do to earn rewards. Usually, the task will involve answering a survey or quiz, playing a mobile game, or watching a video. Sometimes, you’ll also be asked to sign up for a website or app or view an ad.

Every offer will have a set of instructions you need to follow to complete it. Now, when working on one, you must follow all the instructions provided because if you miss even just one step, you will not complete the offer and won’t get paid.

So, make sure to read the instructions carefully before you start working on a paid offer. Once you manage to complete the offer, you will receive the promised reward, which will be in the form of credits. I will discuss later what you can do with the credits you’ve earned.

Option 2 – Paid Surveys

Another way to earn from Survey Pay is to answer their paid surveys. To view the surveys available, just log in to the app and press any of the survey providers listed (refer to the photo below).

The surveys offered on Survey Pay will come from 3^rd party survey providers. When you press any of the survey providers listed, you’ll first have to answer a few profile questions. Once you’ve finished with the profile questions, you’ll then see all the available surveys to answer.

Every survey will tell you how many credits you will earn for completing it. To answer a survey, just press it, and you will be taken to a page asking you to answer another set of questions. These questions are designed to check if you belong to the demographic the survey is for.

After you finish answering the questions, if you qualify, you get to proceed to the actual survey. If you fail to qualify, you simply have to move on to the next survey available. Once you complete the survey, you will receive the credits promised.

Just be aware that the availability of surveys will usually depend on your location. Based on my experience, there will be plenty of surveys available for people who live in Europe or North America.

Option 3 – Watching Videos

You can also earn small rewards for watching videos. These videos are actually ads. This kind of opportunity is typically found on Paid-To-Click sites.

The idea is that you watch a video that usually takes 20 to 30 seconds. You have to let the video finish to collect the reward. If you minimize the app, the timer will be paused, and it will only resume if you go back to the app.

Once the video has finished, you will receive 0.5 credits as a reward. The reward for this earning opportunity is quite low, so I would recommend you only do this if you have nothing else to do because it is not a very efficient way to use your free time, in my opinion.

Option 4 – Referral Program

Lastly, you can also earn rewards through Survey Pay’s referral program. This earning opportunity is very simple. All you have to do is invite people to use the app.

You just need to share your referral code with the people you want to invite. Then, you have to remind them to input the code once they install the app and register. Once they input the code, they will immediately receive 50 credits. In return, you’ll receive 100 credits as a reward.

It’s a nice way to earn some credits, in my opinion, even though the reward isn’t really that high.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you will earn credits for every earning opportunity you complete. You can then convert the credits you’ve earned into cash or cryptocurrency.

If you want to receive cash, you can choose PayPal as the payment method. You will need to earn at least 5,000 credits to make a $5 PayPal withdrawal. This threshold is relatively low, in my opinion, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be able to reach it quickly (more on this later).

If you want to receive cryptocurrency instead, you’ll need to earn at least 150,000 credits. That will be equivalent to $150 worth of Bitcoin or Tether. This is a very high threshold to reach, so it’s not the most ideal option, in my opinion.

Overall, the payment system of Survey Pay is relatively easy to understand, and I like the fact that it uses PayPal as a payment method because it is one of the most convenient payment methods around.

How much money can you make?

The amount you can earn from Survey Pay will mostly depend on how much time you are willing to invest. The app has a decent number of earning opportunities offered, so you will most likely not run out of things to do to earn rewards.

I do have to say that the number of earning opportunities it offers still pales in comparison to the more popular GPT sites and apps today. This can affect your overall earnings.

As for how much you can earn from their earning opportunities, based on what I’ve observed during my testing, you can earn around 100 to 500 credits ($0.1 to $0.5) for paid offers and around 1,000 to 2,000 credits for paid surveys ($1 to $2).

However, this can vary depending on the country you live in.

The rate for their surveys isn’t that bad, in my opinion, but you have to consider that you won’t always qualify for the surveys. So, it can take a bit of patience to reach their PayPal payout threshold. This is especially true if you only rely on paid offers as your main source of rewards.

But overall, I would still say Survey Pay has decent earning potential. Just don’t expect to earn a significant amount from it quickly.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Survey Pay is a mobile-only platform, so you will need to use a mobile device to earn from it.

The app is only available for Android devices, though. If you are an iOS user, I recommend you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

The app is relatively easy to use, but it can get quite annoying sometimes because you will encounter video ads popping up when you try to get from one page to the other. This is what makes the overall user experience of the app not very ideal, in my opinion.

Who can join Survey Pay?

The good thing is that Survey Pay is available more or less worldwide so that you can register as a member in most countries.

To sign up, you have to first install the app. Then, you have to fill out the sign-up form and submit it. After you’ve completed the sign-up form, you have to check your email inbox for the verification code. Simply enter the code in the app to complete your registration.

Once you’ve done that, you can start working on the earning opportunities it offers.

Can you get support?

If you have any questions about the app, you can check out the Help section. However, the Help page only discusses a few basic topics you need to know about the app, so if you can’t find what you are looking for, you will have to get in touch with their support team.

To do so, just click the message icon in the lower right-hand corner of the Help page, and it will open your email app, and it will fill out the email address of the support team automatically. Just type in your question and hit send.

Overall, I would say the app has a decent support system in place for its members, but I do wish their Help page would provide more useful information to decrease the chances of you having to contact their support team.

Final Verdict

Survey Pay is a legit GPT app that will allow you to earn by participating in the earning opportunities it offers. It has a few good features to offer, but it also has some drawbacks you need to factor in.

Let me finish this review with a summary of its pros and cons to give you an overview of what the app offers. Then, you can decide if it is really worth it or not.

In my opinion, Survey Pay is not a bad app. That being said, it’s also not that good either. Sure, it has a decent number of earning opportunities offered, but it pales in comparison to the more popular GPT sites and apps. So, the earning potential is quite limited, in my opinion.

It can serve as a decent secondary app from which to earn, though. And you’ll be able to withdraw your earnings conveniently via PayPal.

Now, if you are looking for primary sites/apps to earn from, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so it won’t take a lot of time to earn a decent amount.
