Xcel Global Panel is a site that promises to reward you for completing surveys. There are literally hundreds of sites that make the same claim, and I have tested a lot of them over the years. So, I know that not all of them are legit.
Now, the question is, is it legit or a scam?

Xcel Global Panel, which used to be called Xcel-Online Surveys, as mentioned above, is a survey site that will reward you for completing their surveys. This survey panel is owned by Market Xcel, a market research company based in India. The survey panel has been around since 2018.

Option 1 – Paid Surveys

Another good piece of information provided is the status of the survey. In my experience, you will seldom find this information on other survey sites. This is very useful because it lets you know if the survey is still available or not.
You won't have to waste your time answering the survey and then find out later on that the survey is already closed. That is a very common situation in most survey sites.
So, it's good that they will let you know right away if the survey is still available. When you work on a survey offer, you will first have to answer a set of qualifying questions. This is done to ensure that you belong to the demographic the survey is targeting.
If you qualify for the survey, you will then proceed to the actual survey. If you don't qualify, you simply move on to the next offer.
Some sites offer a small compensation for the time you spent answering the qualifying questions, but that is not true for Xcel Global Panel.
Once you complete a survey, you will receive the reward promised and it will be credited to your account balance.
Option 2 – Referral Program
Xcel Global Panel also rewards you for referring people to their site.
For every person you refer to the site that becomes a member, you will earn 10 reward points. Aside from that, if that person refers another person to the site, you will also earn 10 reward points.
In my opinion, this is a pretty good referral structure because you are guaranteed to receive a reward as long as they register to the site. Unlike other sites, where the reward you will get will depend on your referral being active on the site.
Although this has a lower ceiling in terms of the rewards you will earn, at least you will receive something upfront.

How do you get paid?
Now that you know the two ways of earning rewards, it's time to look at how you will get paid. It is an important factor to consider because this will also dictate if it is indeed a good site to earn. Ideally, you will be looking for a survey panel that will allow you to withdraw your earnings conveniently.
For every survey you complete, you will receive reward points. Once you reach 100 points, you can exchange them for various rewards. The rewards you can choose will depend on which country you live in, but most of the time, you can redeem gift cards or convert them into real money.
Aside from that, you can also suggest good reward options for your region so they are quite open-minded about the payout options they offer.
Overall, I would say it does provide convenient payout options, in my opinion. Plus, I like the fact that it has a relatively low payout threshold because you can withdraw your earnings quickly. If you are interested in more sites that have a low payout threshold, I suggest you also check out the fastest-paying sites.
How much money can you make?
This is another important factor you have to consider when evaluating a survey site. Earning potential is what will dictate if a survey site is indeed worth your time or not.
The earning potential of a survey site will mostly depend on how often you will receive survey invites and how many surveys you will complete. Unfortunately, you don't have control over this because the availability of surveys will mostly depend on your location.
Some countries offer more surveys than others. The best thing you can do is to always provide honest answers and take your time answering surveys so that the site can see you are not rushing your answers.
Another factor is the rewards you will get for each survey completed. Ideally, the higher the reward, the higher the earning potential. But with Xcel Global Panel, they don't really pay that well per survey. So, it can take a bit of time to earn a decent amount from it because you have to complete a lot of surveys.
That is why I would consider its earning potential very low. You'll have to invest a lot of time to earn a decent amount from it.
Can you use it on mobile?
Xcel Global Panel has a mobile app you can download so you can answer surveys conveniently using your mobile device. The app is available to Android and iOS users, so compatibility won't be an issue.
The app is relatively easy to use, so navigating it won't be a problem. The user experience it provides is generally pleasant, which is all you can ask for from a mobile app, in my opinion.
Who can join the Xcel Global Panel?
Xcel Global Panel, as the name suggests, is a survey site that is available globally, so you can sign up as a member regardless of where you live. You just have to be at least 18 years of age to join.
To sign up, just fill out the registration form and confirm your membership. Once you've done so, you can log in to the member dashboard and start earning. But before you can answer surveys, you must complete your profile so that Xcel Global Panel can identify which surveys to send your way.

Dear Mikael, thanks a lot for reviewing this survey site in detail. I’ve been a member of Xcel-Online for more than one year. I’ve redeemed my points for PayTm rupees 3-4 times here and earned around Rs. 1200. But, what is alarming is the site has not been paying since March, 2020 and I’ve around Rs.800 long due with them. Customer support is as dead as a Dodo. They however keep sending surveys. So I would suggest not to join this site for the time being since there is every chance of not getting money for your efforts. I would update if they will start clearing the dues.

Hi Mikael, the latest update from Xcel-Online is they at last paid my Rs. 800 in the form of 8xRs.100 Paytm vouchers a week back, which I have already redeemed. They first sent me an email apologizing for the long delay due to Covid-19 situation 15 days back and promised to clear dues in 6-7 days which they did. Hope other members have got theirs as well.

But even after the specified time they are not sending vouchers. Redemption for the subsequent months are pending although the status of redemption is successful. They are not responding to e-mails. Market-Xcel has a facebook page. Raising the issue there may help.

Finally, yesterday they sent the paytm voucher codes I redeemed in January and February 2020. I redeemed one Rs.300, one Rs.200, two Rs.100 vouchers in those months. But they sent 7xRs.100 paytm vouchers. Hope they will send correct vouchers for redemptions made in subsequent months.

Makiel, I am a panelist of the same site for a long time. As said above from March I don’t get any payment. More than that no reply for any email. At least they could have send an email to their panelist/s, to show the reason, why they are not paying. I do survey in another 6 more sites. I get my payment or vouchers in proper time from the same merchants which this company deals with, and it shows they are functional. So I think, there is something wrong with this company. I suggest, don’t recommend the site to others.

If you read my review above, you will see that I definitely do not recommend Xcel Surveys but say that I think there are many better options and recommend joining other sites instead.
Usually the payment process is very slow. We have to wait for 4-6 weeks. Which is too long compare to other sites.
IMPORTANT: Do not waste your time referring to your friends, because they will not pay you any rewards for referral. I had referred to 4 of my friends but not getting paid for those.

Since Dec 15, there are no surveys from Xcel-Online. I checked their website and found that they redesigned their site, now not able to login with my credentials. It seems they have removed all the existing user accounts without any notice, thus not to give any pending redemptions. I heard their company Market-Xcel was in economic crisis paying salary of employees. So they used the money they got from survey panel and removed all user data so that participants can not complain about the same. So, my advice is – do not trust this survey panel. There are better options like LifePoints.

Today I checked their revamped site and when I tried to login there got a message for password reset option in my registered Email. By clicking the link on that email I was able to login, but have to fill my profile and verify again. After that I can see my previous points there, but still there are no records on previous pending redemption I made in previous months.

They are Fraud, no customer support available, I raise more than 4-5 tickets but never got a response from them.
Their user interface also sucks, and in the new update minimum redeem is 500 it’s impossible to achieve because their survey is hard and you can’t qualify for even 1 survey.
So my suggestion is don’t waste time on Xcel Surveys.

On December 10th I redeemed 500 points and I received a mail from them acknowledging it. But to this day I haven’t received any intimation from them about my rewards. Last week I had 181 in my account and today I noticed I have only 97 points. Why so?
