Virtual Vocations is a site that claims to help you find remote jobs to earn from.
But is Virtual Vocations a scam or is it legit?
Well, this is what this Virtual Vocations review will help you find out. It will answer your question and show you everything it has to offer so you will know exactly what to expect from it before you sign up.
Then you can make an educated decision on whether Virtual Vocations is worth it or not. So let’s go ahead and take a closer look at it, shall we?
What is Virtual Vocations, and what does it offer?
At its core, Virtual Vocations is a job board site that will help you find remote jobs so you can earn money.
It is a legit site since all the opportunities offered are real and will allow you to earn. Now if you are looking for an online job or a way to earn extra cash, there are many other popular options available like Indeed or Flexjobs.
The question now is, is Virtual Vocations better than these sites?
The only way to find out is to examine the earning opportunity it offers so you can properly compare it with other job-board sites.
I have, therefore, made a video that explains exactly how you can earn from Virtual Vocations. You can also read all the details below the video.

The earning opportunity – Remote jobs
Once you become a member of Virtual Vocations, you’ll gain access to their remote jobs database. All you have to do is log in to the member’s dashboard to view all the job offers.
One thing you need to keep in mind with Virtual Vocations is that if you join the site with a free subscription, you will only gain access to the “free” job offers. To gain access to the full database, you must pay a monthly subscription (more on this later).
When I was examining the site, there were a decent number of job offers available, and most of them were full-time positions, so you can potentially find a full-time job by using it. That being said, most job offers will require specific skills, so you have to possess the right skills to find a job.
Unlike freelance sites like UpWork or FlexJobs, finding a job on this site is a bit harder, in my opinion. If you see a job you are interested in, just click it to see the details. If you are on a free subscription, you’ll only be able to see the overview of most of the job offers.
There are, however, some jobs labeled as free jobs, where you can see all the details and also apply with a free membership. But there are not many of these, in my experience.
If you want to see the full details of all the jobs, you have to become a premium member. When you are ready to apply, just hit the “Apply” button at the bottom of the page. You can also save the job and apply for it later by clicking on the “Save” button.
After you click the Apply button, you’ll be taken to the website of the organization offering the job. Just follow all the instructions provided to submit your application. Keep in mind that Virtual Vocations won’t be involved in this process. Its obligation stops at providing job offers to you.
It does offer several tools you can use to improve your chances of landing a job. You can find these tools on the Career Center page. If you are new to job hunting, I suggest you utilize these tools because your job hunt will go a lot easier.

How do you get paid?
As explained above, Virtual Vocations’ obligation to you stops at providing job offers, so to answer the question of how you will get paid, that will depend on the company that will hire you.
But since these are remote jobs you are taking on, then you can also expect to get paid using online means like PayPal or direct bank transfer.
In my years of experience, I have never experienced any remote job that offered to pay via check. The salary will always be sent using convenient methods like PayPal or direct bank transfer, so that’s what you should also expect.
Now if you prefer to only get paid via PayPal, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal instead.
How much money can you make?
As mentioned earlier, most (if not all) of the job offers found on Virtual Vocations are for full-time positions, so you can expect to earn a full-time income if you land a job. As with most job offers, you’ll usually have the opportunity to negotiate your salary, so you can dictate how much you will earn.
As for how much the jobs found on Virtual Vocations usually pay, I really can’t say because this information will only be made available to you once you get to the interview phase of job hunting. But upon looking at the job offers, since these offers usually require professional skills or a certain degree of education, then I would say the pay will usually be substantial.
That being said, in my opinion, landing a job with the help of Virtual Vocations will be a bit harder compared to freelance sites like UpWork or Flexjobs because of the requirements you need to meet to land a job. That’s why I would say its earning potential will depend on the skills you possess.
Can you use it on mobile?
Virtual Vocations doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but its site is optimized for mobile use, so you can still go job hunting conveniently using your mobile device. This can prove very useful because you can set your account to send notifications if certain jobs are being offered.
Once you receive the notification, you can log in to the member dashboard easily, even though you are not in front of a computer. This will allow you to apply for the job as quickly as you can, and sometimes, that can be the difference between landing a job or not.
Who can join Virtual Vocations?
In the FAQ section of Virtual Vocations, they say you can join from all countries, BUT they also say that it is up to the employer if they want to accept applicants that are not located in the US.
And, in my experience, it will be quite hard to find employers here that accept applicants from other countries than the US, so you need to keep this in mind before joining.
As explained earlier, the site offers two types of subscriptions – free and paid. As you can see in the photo above, going for the paid subscription will allow you to get certain benefits, like gaining access to the full database of job offers. You’ll also be prioritized for job opportunities that will match your interests.
A monthly subscription will cost $19.99, but if you go for a 3-month or yearly subscription, it will cost less per month ($49.99 and $69.99 to be exact). But before you decide to pay for this subscription, I suggest you evaluate if this is the right site for you to look for jobs.
For reference, Virtual Vocations is suitable for people who have skills in account management, accounting, writing and editing, case management, data entry, legal, graphic design, and Human Resources, just to name a few. If you are confident you can perform the tasks required for these jobs, then it can potentially help you find a job.
My best suggestion is to go for the free subscription first to see if there are job categories that will suit you. If there are, then you can go for the paid subscription to access more job offers.
Can you get support?
If you have any questions about the site or your account, you can check out the FAQ page first. It discusses most of the basic topics you need to know about Virtual Vocations. As I’ve mentioned earlier, the site also provides resources to help you successfully land a job.
But if you have questions that can’t be answered by the resources provided by Virtual Vocations, then you can just contact their support team instead. You can do so by clicking the “Need Help” icon found in the lower right-hand corner of the website.
This will open up the message box that you can use to submit your inquiry. Overall, I would say Virtual Vocations does provide decent support to its members since it offers a convenient way for you to communicate with their support team. Plus, it offers a lot of resources to help you land a job.
Final Verdict
Virtual Vocations is a legit job board site that will help you find job opportunities so you can earn either a part-time or full-time income. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has some limitations you need to be aware of.
Let me end this review by summarizing its pros and cons to give you an overview of what it has to offer. Then you can decide if it is the right fit for you or not.
Pros:
- Has a decent number of job opportunities
- The site is mobile-friendly
Cons:
- You have to pay a subscription fee to access the full features
- Most job offers require you to have certain skill sets
Virtual Vocations is not a bad job board site, in my opinion. However, I would say it’s not better than the more popular job board sites like Indeed or Flexjobs. You’ll find it easier to land a job on those sites instead because the job opportunities found on Virtual Vocations require more specific skills and levels of education.
That’s why if you are going job hunting, I suggest you go for those sites instead. But if you are just interested in earning a full-time income online, I recommend you check out how to build an online business and earn a full-time income instead.
