I recently tried an app called EarnStar, which promises you can make real money anytime, anywhere, just by playing games, and that you can even earn $100+ per game. Sounds pretty good, right?

But the big question is, does it actually live up to the hype?

In this EarnStar review, I’ll break down what it is all about, how it works, and what you can realistically expect if you decide to use it. That way, you’ll know whether it’s worth your time or just another app that overpromises.

Option 1 – Playing Games

Another way you can earn is through playing games and game offers. In case this is your first time encountering this type of earning opportunity, let me explain what it is. Paid offers are short tasks you can do to earn rewards.

Typically, the paid offers on EarnStar will ask you to play mobile games, so you will mostly need to use your phone (more on this later) for this opportunity.

To earn, you must pick an offer to work on and click it. Then, you’ll see the full details of how you can complete it. Each offer will have a certain milestone/task you can unlock to earn rewards. Normally, these milestones are just reaching a certain level in the game.

Some milestones/tasks will ask you to make an in-game purchase, so you must be able to discern which ones are profitable and which ones aren’t. Now, the important thing is that each offer will have a due date.

After the due date, you won’t be able to earn any more rewards from it. You don’t have to complete all the milestones/tasks. You can move on to the next offer anytime you want.

Now, the best thing about this opportunity is that there are a good number of offers available at any given time, so you won’t run out of ways to earn. Plus, most (if not all) of the offers pay a good amount. In fact, they pay more than most offers from other GPT sites, in my opinion.

Option 2 – Paid Surveys

One way you can earn from EarnStar is by answering surveys. When you log in to the member dashboard, you must go to the surveys section to see all the available surveys.

If it is your first time doing so, you’ll have to answer the initial survey offered to unlock all the other surveys available on the site (refer to the photo below).

For this survey, you will automatically qualify. It is mostly just profile questions you must answer. Once you complete this survey, all the other surveys will be unlocked.

Now, when you answer a survey, you’ll have to go through a qualifying phase so that EarnStar can find out if you are the ideal person for the survey. If you don’t qualify, just move on to the next survey available.

If you qualify, you get to answer the survey. Once you complete it, you will earn the reward promised, and it will be credited to your EarnStar account balance. Later, I will discuss how you can withdraw your earnings.

When I tested EarnStar, there were a decent number of surveys available, which is a good thing. Most surveys also pay a decent amount compared to other survey sites.

Option 3 – Leaderboard Contest

Another way you can potentially earn more rewards is by joining its leaderboard contest. To unlock this opportunity, you need to complete at least 10 surveys.

The idea is to be one of the top earners on the site. The idea is that you can claim a mystery box every time you earn $5 from EarnStar. This mystery box will either contain cash of up to $10 or a percentage boost on how much you can earn from the earning opportunities offered by EarnStar.

For example, when I was testing it, the first prize I won was a 50% boost for the rewards I would earn from paid offers and surveys. It’s a nice way to maximize your earnings from EarnStar, in my opinion. Plus, it incentivizes people who are very active on the site.

Lastly, you can earn passively from EarnStar’s referral program. All you have to do is share your referral link with the person you want to invite. Then, when they click the link and sign up as a member, they will become your referral.

You can also just share your referral code with the person and remind them to input the code in the referral section. That’s another way to get referrals.

As a reward, you’ll receive a 10% commission every time your referral earns from a paid survey.

However, you must make sure the people you invite will become active members to benefit from this opportunity. It won’t be that hard, in my opinion, and later, you will understand why.

How do you get paid?

Another good thing about EarnStar is that it offers convenient payout methods like PayPal. The exact payout options will depend on the country you live in. In some countries, bank transfers, and Venmo are also available. Aside from that, you can also redeem various gift cards.

The threshold to withdraw your earnings via PayPal will also depend on where you live. In some countries, it will be $5, but in some, it will be $20. That being said, you won’t have a hard time reaching any payout threshold, and later, you will understand why.

Overall, I would say its payout system is relatively straightforward. I like the fact that it offers convenient payout methods like PayPal and bank transfer.

Plus, it pays very quickly once you redeem, as you can see in the video above. Usually, within a few minutes, so you don’t need to wait long to receive your earnings, which is great.

I can’t say exactly how much you can earn per survey or offer, since that will depend on the country you live in, but what I can say is that compared to many other GPT and survey sites, the rewards you will earn will be quite decent.

This is especially true for the games you can play. There are lots of games that will let you earn $100+.

Also, as shown in the video above, the site has an earnings calculator you can use, so you get an idea of how much you can potentially earn from the site, and it is quite realistic, in my experience.

Overall, I would say it pays quite well and its earning potential is relatively good. You can consistently earn a decent amount from it, which is all you really want from a GPT site, in my opinion.

Overall, this is the only drawback of the site, in my opinion. Its Help section could use improvement. But it does provide a convenient way for you to ask for help, so you can still resolve your concerns easily. Plus, they have 24/7 live support, so you can resolve your concern fairly quickly.

EarnStar is a legit GPT site that lets you earn by completing offers and surveys. It has a few good features and minor disadvantages.
