Swash is a website that claims you can earn passively just by being online. It’s a very interesting and appealing way to earn, but is it worth it? If you want to know the answer to that question, then you’ve come to the right place.
This Swash review will show you the full truth of what it offers so you will know exactly what to expect from it. Then, you can make an educated decision on whether or not this site is worth your time.
So, let’s see what Swash is all about, shall we?
What is Swash, and what does it offer?
Swash is an online earning portal where you can earn points for being active and completing tasks online. And yes, it is legit because you can really earn rewards from it passively.
However, that doesn’t immediately mean you should sign up for it. To find out if it is worth your time, you must first understand how it works. The best way to do so is to check out the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort is needed to earn from it.
The video below explains exactly how Swash works. You can also read the full details below the video.

Option 1 – Using the Browser Extension
To earn from Swash, you must install its Google Chrome extension. This will allow you to access everything you need from the platform. Now, you might be wondering how you will be able to earn passively from Swash.
Well, the answer is quite simple. Once you install the browser extension, you just enable it and let it run in the background while you are surfing the web. The extension will then gather data in the background. The site says it won’t gather any sensitive data, but personally, I’m not comfortable with this kind of earning opportunity.
It will all boil down to whether you are comfortable with how the earning opportunity works. Once your data is gathered, Swash will sell it to companies that need it. Then, you will get a share in the profit just by claiming it from the browser extension.
I checked if Swash is also available in other browsers, and it looks like it also has a Firefox version, you can also use it if you are using Firefox as your main browser.
As for the reward you will receive when your data is sold, it will be in the form of Swash tokens, which is the platform’s own cryptocurrency.
Later, I will discuss how you can withdraw your earnings.
Option 2 – Viewing Ads
Swash will also let you earn passively by essentially letting ads appear when you browse the internet. All you have to do is go to the Earn More section of the extension and click the Earn from Ads option. You’ll then see something similar to the photo below.
You can choose how the ads will appear if you don’t want to get overwhelmed with them. The good thing about this opportunity is that you don’t have to click the ad to earn from it. As long as it appears when you browse the internet, you’ll earn a small reward.
I have to stress that point out so you won’t be disappointed. You will not earn a lot from this opportunity, but it’s an additional way to earn passively.
Option 3 – Offers
Lastly, you can earn additional rewards by completing offers. I was a bit surprised that this platform offered this opportunity because I didn’t expect to encounter it here. But anyway, if you’ve been a member of GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites before, then this will be quite familiar to you.
These offers are just short tasks you can do to earn additional rewards. Typically, these offers will ask you to install various mobile apps. Each offer will have a set of instructions you must follow to earn rewards.
If you miss even one step, you won’t be able to complete the offer and earn the reward promised. So, make sure to read the instructions carefully before working on them.
It’s not the best way to earn, in my opinion, because the rewards are quite low, so you won’t be earning efficiently. You’ll earn more for completing the same offers on popular GPT sites like Swagbucks or PrizeRebel.

How do you get paid?
As explained above, you’ll earn Swash tokens from the earning opportunities it offers. Now, the question is, what can you do with these tokens?
Well, fortunately, Swash tokens already have monetary value, so you can exchange them for cash later.
Now, since you’ll be dealing with crypto, you’ll need to have a crypto wallet where you can withdraw your Swash tokens. For Swash, you must use a wallet that works with the Gnosis Chain blockchain. A good example is MetaMask.
If you are new to crypto, you’ll need to do some research on how to withdraw cryptocurrencies to your crypto wallet. As for the exact process of withdrawing your Swash tokens, you can check out this guide made by Swash. The premise is simple – when you earn Swash tokens, they will be stored in your Swash wallet.
Then, you have the option to transfer your Swash tokens to any crypto wallet that accepts this token (e.g. MetaMask). Once it is in your MetaMask wallet, you can choose to exchange it for other crypto like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. You can also sell it for cash since MetaMask offers that option.
That being said, there are a few things you need to meet to withdraw your earnings. You can read all about it here.
To summarize:
- You should have more than 10 $SWASH on your balance
- You should have been using the new version of Swash for at least one month
- Additionally, there is a 24-hour interval between each withdrawal request
If these conditions aren’t met, you won’t be able to withdraw your earnings. It’s a bit complicated especially if you are new to crypto, but from what I can see, you should be able to meet these conditions if you just keep using Swash.
Overall, I would say their payout system is a bit complicated compared to other passive income apps.
How much money can you make?
The site doesn’t explain in detail how much you will earn when they sell your data. Aside from that, since the currency it is using is in crypto, then the monetary value will change from time to time, so it’s quite hard to pinpoint an exact amount you can earn from it.
But judging from what I experienced when I was testing it, the earning potential of Swash is quite low, which is to be expected because the earning opportunity it offers requires very little effort on your end. So, you shouldn’t expect to earn a significant amount from it quickly.
Can you use it on mobile?
Swash doesn’t have a mobile app you can download yet. They plan to add one in the future based on what I saw when I was testing it. As for the browser extension, it only works on Chrome and Firefox for computers, so you can’t use it on your mobile phone just yet.
So, to answer the question above, NO, you can’t. You’ll need a laptop or desktop if you want to earn from Swash.
Who can join Swash?
The site doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide.
To sign up, you must install the browser extension first. Then, you must go through the process of creating a new wallet (refer to the photo above). Simply follow the instructions provided and answer all the questions.
When you are done with this phase, you can set up how the extension behaves. Just don’t forget to enable it when you start browsing websites so it can start collecting data to sell. The registration process is fairly straightforward, so you shouldn’t have a hard time signing up.
Can you get support?
You can check out Swash’s Help Center if you have questions about the platform. It discusses most of the important topics you need to know. But if you can’t find the answers you need, you can just contact their support department to resolve your concerns.
You can submit a support request through their Help Center. What’s good about this system is that you can easily track all your requests, and if you forgot how to resolve a previous concern and encounter it again, you can just check your previous support tickets for the answer. It saves a bit of time, in my experience.
Overall, I would say it provides decent support to its members since it offers a convenient way for you to ask for help.
Final Verdict
Swash is a legit platform that will let you earn passively by using its browser extension. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has some drawbacks you must consider.
To help you with your decision, I have summarized its pros and cons so you can see a clear overview of what it offers.
Pros:
- Offers a passive form of earning
- Available more or less worldwide
Cons:
- Low rewards
- Doesn’t offer cash payments
- Slightly complicated payout method
Swash is not a bad platform to earn passively from. However, it also doesn’t provide a good reason for you to use it. If you want to earn passively, there are better passive income apps out there you can use. They offer better earning potential, and most of them also offer cash rewards, so you don’t have to go through the trouble of converting your crypto earnings.
Now, if you are looking for a simpler way to earn extra cash, I urge you to check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all offer good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount quickly.
