Tick App Review – Worth It? (What To Expect)

Tick is a mobile app that claims you can earn money by watching videos. I have encountered hundreds of apps like this over the years, so I know, based on experience, that not all of them are legit and worth it.

The big question now is, is Tick legit? And if it is, is it worth it?

This Tick app review will address all these concerns. It will show you everything Tick offers so you will know exactly what to expect from it.

Then, you can properly identify if it is really worth it or not. So, let’s check out Tick, shall we?

What is Tick, and what does it offer?

Tick is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will reward you for watching videos and working on the other earning opportunities it offers. And yes, it is legit since you can earn rewards from it.

However, that doesn’t automatically mean you should go ahead and install it. To find out if it is worth your time, you must first understand how it works. To do so, we must take a look at the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear picture of how good the app is.

So, here’s how to earn from Tick.

Option 1 – Watching Videos

One way to earn from Tick is by watching videos. When you open the app, the first thing you will encounter is this opportunity. You’ll immediately see a video playing. Now, to earn, you just let the video play.

In the photo above, you’ll see a treasure chest icon at the upper-right corner of the screen. This will serve as your indicator that you’ve earned a reward for watching a video.

Every time a video plays, you’ll see a progress bar on the treasure chest icon. When that bar is full, you’ll receive 100 coins as a reward. Then, the progress bar will start loading again. You just need to keep watching a video to continue earning rewards.

It’s a fairly easy process and you can switch to a different window while a video is playing, and you’ll still earn the reward. You can keep doing this until Tick runs out of videos to play, which seldom happens.

From time to time, a pop-up video ad will appear, which you have to close to continue earning by watching videos.

Option 2 – Paid Offers

Another way you can earn is by completing paid offers. If you’ve been a member of GPT sites before, this opportunity will be very familiar to you. Just go to the Earn section of the app and you will see something similar to the photo below.

Simply pick an offer you are interested in and click it. Most of the time, an offer will ask you to download and play a mobile game. Sometimes, it will ask you to sign up for a free trial, while other times, it will ask you to answer surveys and questions.

Each offer will have a set of instructions you must follow to complete it. If you miss one step, you will not be able to complete the offer and earn the reward. So, you must always read the instructions carefully before you work on an offer.

When you complete the offer, you will earn the promised reward, which will be a certain number of coins. Later, I will discuss what you can do with the coins you’ve earned.

There’s a decent number of offers available, but if I were to compare it with some of the most popular GPT sites and apps today, it pales in comparison. So, you still won’t earn a lot from this opportunity, in my opinion.

Option 3 – Referral Program

Lastly, you can earn additional rewards through its referral program. All you have to do is invite someone to join Tick by sharing your invite code with them. Then, when they sign up as a member of Tick, they must provide your invite code.

Make sure to remind them to input the code on the referral page since the app won’t ask you for it during registration, which I found a bit weird. Normally, referral codes must be provided during the registration phase.

Now, as a reward, you’ll receive a 10% commission every time your referral earns something from the app. Aside from that, you’ll also receive a 5% commission from your referral’s referral when they also earn from the app.

It’s a decent way to earn rewards passively, but Tick is not really something I would recommend to other people, and later, you will understand why.

How do you get paid?

All the earning opportunities Tick offers will reward you with coins. Now, the question is, what can you do with the coins you’ve earned?

Well, you can use them to redeem various rewards. The type of rewards available will depend on the country you live in, but most of the time, you’ll see various gift cards as reward options.

There’s a PayPal option, but it says it is “Coming Soon”, so if you were hoping to withdraw your earnings via PayPal, then this is not the best option, in my opinion.

Aside from that, as shown in the photo above, there’ll be a 10% service fee for every redemption you make, which is very high and higher than what you find on most other GPT apps, in my experience.

As for the number of coins you’ll need to redeem a reward, it will depend on the reward you want.

Most of the time, the minimum number of coins needed to redeem a reward will be more than 1,000,000 coins, which is quite a lot, in my opinion. Plus, the value of the reward you will redeem will only be around $1.5 to $2, which is quite a small amount.

Overall, while Tick's payout system is relatively straightforward, it would have been better if it offered payouts via PayPal. Until such a time, I would say its payout system is not that great.

How much money can you make?

As explained earlier, you’ll only earn 100 coins per video you watch. So, if you will only rely on this opportunity, it will take a lot of time before you can earn 1,000,000+ coins to redeem a reward.

If you are going to add the earnings you get from paid offers, which will typically be around 10,000 to 20,000 coins per offer, it will still take quite a while to hit the threshold. And considering that 1,000,000+ coins will only be worth around $1.5 to $2, you still won’t be earning a lot even though you’ve accumulated a lot of coins.

This is why I would say its earning potential is very low. This is the main reason why it’s not something I recommend. It’s not a great way to earn rewards, in my opinion.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Tick is a mobile-only platform, so you will need to use your phone to earn from it. As for the app, the site indicates that there’s an Android and iOS version for it. But if you click the link to the iOS version, it won’t take you anywhere.

Plus, if you Google the iOS version of Tick, you won’t find any results. So, Tick is really only for Android users. If you are an iOS user, I suggest you check out the best money-making apps for iOS instead.

As for the app, it’s a bit clunky, in my opinion. Sometimes, the videos will load slowly even if you have a fast internet connection. Sometimes, paid offers will also take a while to load. You’ll also encounter a lot of pop-up ads while using it. So, the overall user experience it provides isn’t that great, in my opinion.

Who can join Tick?

The app doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. The best way to find out is to search for it on Google Play. If it appears among the results, that means it is available in your country. If it doesn’t, then you are out of luck.

To sign up, you must install the app first. Then, when you open the app for the first time, you will actually be logged in to the app immediately. But for you to use your account on multiple devices, you must go to your profile page and log in using your Google account.

Once you’ve done that, you can start earning without having to worry about all your earnings if in case you uninstall the app or change devices.

Can you get support?

If you have questions about the app or your account, you can check out the FAQ section inside the app. However, it only discusses a few basic topics, so you will most likely not find any useful information.

The problem is that the app doesn’t have a contact form you can use or any contact information. I had to check their Google Play page just to get the email address of their support department. Apparently, you can send your inquiries to Tick_support@kypolar.xyz.

Overall, while Tick does provide a way for you to contact support, it would still have been better if the contact form or contact information was readily available inside the app, in my opinion.

Tick is a GPT app that will let you earn rewards by watching videos and completing offers. It has a couple of decent features, but it also has several drawbacks you must consider.
