Wicto is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site that claims to let members earn rewards by playing games. But is Wicto legit or a scam?
Over the years, I have tested hundreds of sites that offer the same earning opportunity, and not all of them end up being worth it.
And with any GPT site, it is important to look beyond the marketing claims and understand exactly how it works before signing up. Some earning platforms offer a great experience, while others can lead to frustration when it comes time to cash out.
In this Wicto review, I'll take a closer look at what it offers, how you can earn, its payment options, and the potential drawbacks so you can decide whether it is worth joining.
What is Wicto, and what does it offer?
As mentioned above, Wicto is a GPT site that lets you earn rewards by playing games, among other things. It does look like it pays you for working on the earning opportunities it offers. However, it remains to be seen if it is truly worth your time.
The best way to find out if you should sign up for it is to examine the earning opportunities it offers, so you will have an idea of how good it really is. And let me just tell you right away that there are some alarming things about Wicto that I have noticed, but more on this later.
For now, let’s talk about how you can earn from Wicto.
Option 1 – Playing Games
The main way to earn rewards from Wicto is by playing the featured mobile games. When you log in to the member dashboard, you’ll see all the games you can play.

Now, these are mobile games, so you’ll need your mobile phone to earn. Each game has specific milestones you must complete to earn rewards. These milestones can include reaching a certain level, playing for a set amount of time, or completing in-game objectives, such as making in-game purchases.
From what I’ve observed while testing, the milestones that involve in-game purchases offer the highest rewards. However, you must be careful when working on these milestones because not all of them are worth it.
When you complete a milestone, you’ll earn the indicated reward, which is a set amount. Later, I will explain how you can withdraw your earnings.
Option 2 – Paid Surveys
You can also earn additional rewards by answering surveys. Based on my testing, there aren't many of them, so your earnings from this opportunity will be somewhat limited.
The way it works is like the surveys you encounter on survey sites. You go through a qualifying process, and if you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey.
If you get disqualified, you simply move on to the next survey available. After completing a survey, you’ll receive the reward promised. It’s a straightforward process, but, as I said, there aren’t many surveys available, so don’t expect to earn much from this opportunity.
Option 3 – Tournaments
Wicto also holds tournaments, which are just leaderboard contests that you usually find on other GPT sites. The way it works is that you’ll win a prize if you are among the top earners for the duration of the tournament.
So, in essence, you simply have to earn as much as you can to win a prize. It’s not a very easy way to earn, so you should only treat the earnings from this opportunity as a bonus, in my opinion, and not as a regular source of rewards.
Option 4 – Referral Program
Lastly, Wicto also has a referral program you can participate in to earn additional rewards. To earn, you just have to invite people to join the site by sharing your referral link. When they click the link and sign up as a member, they will become your referral.
However, it’s not quite clear how the referral rewards work. Based on feedback from other members, you’ll receive the referral reward (up to $5) once your referral completes an offer (playing a game or answering a survey).
The problem with the website, from what I’ve observed, is that there is a lot of missing vital information (more on this later). So, you won’t completely understand how some earning opportunities work, especially if you are new to GPT sites.
Overall, its referral program is a way to earn more rewards. But personally, Wicto is not something I would recommend to other people, and later, you will understand why.

How do you get paid?
When you complete an offer or survey, you’ll earn a certain amount, which will be credited to your Wicto account balance. Now, the question is, how can you withdraw your earnings?

Well, Wicto offers many payout options, including PayPal and Venmo. You can also redeem various gift cards or prepaid Visa cards. The threshold is very low ($1), so you can essentially withdraw your earnings quickly.
Overall, I would say its payout system is relatively straightforward and convenient. If you are interested in more sites that use a convenient payout method, I suggest you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal as well.
Now, there’s one alarming thing I noticed while researching the platform. Apparently, there are recurring issues with members getting paid.

Many users have reported not getting paid when they cash out. If you go to the website's Trustpilot page, most of the complaints concern the same issue.
Now, I’m not saying Wicto doesn’t pay its members, but the number of complaints regarding the same issue is quite alarming. Most complaints say that after cashing out for the first time, they apparently encounter issues the next time they cash out.
There are even members saying that the reason support gave them when they inquired about their payout status is that the site didn’t have any money to pay them. That’s a huge red flag, in my opinion.
I always give a website the benefit of the doubt when I read negative reviews, since I’ve also had a bad experience with review bombing, but when you see a lot of negative reviews saying the same thing, then you would think there’s some truth to their complaints.
So, don’t be surprised if you experience the same issue if you decide to sign up as a member.
How much money can you make?
The amount you can earn from Wicto will depend on how much time you are willing to invest in the site. There are a good number of opportunities available at any given time, so you won’t run out of ways to earn.
But if you want to know how much it pays per offer or survey, I can’t give you an exact amount because it depends on the specific offer or survey you are working on. But if I were to compare them with the more popular GPT sites and apps, the rewards they offer would certainly be lower.
That’s why I would say its earning potential is quite low. It will take a long time before you can earn a significant amount from them.

Now, there’s one big thing I noticed while I was exploring the platform. If you take a look at its homepage, you’ll see many testimonials about how great the website is (see the photo above).
If you notice, the testimonials also include the amount that the individual has earned. So, you would think that people earn hundreds or thousands of dollars when they become members of the site.
This is a very misleading piece of information, in my opinion. First of all, the amount you can earn from Wicto will be nowhere near the amount that these testimonials show.
I’m not a big fan of marketing strategies like this, and in my years of experience with online earnings, websites that exaggerate their earning potential are often problematic. So, keep this in mind when you make your decision.

Can you use it on mobile?
Wicto doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but the member dashboard is optimized for mobile use, so you can complete offers even when you are not at your computer. This is to be expected since most (if not all) of the games you have to play are mobile games.
The user experience it provides, however, isn’t that great. As mentioned earlier, there is important information, so some features can get a bit confusing at times. Aside from that, some links on the website don’t work (Contact Us and Help Center).
Who can join Wicto?
The website doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but I did some digging, and it seems that it is only available to people who live in the US. So, if you live somewhere else, then this is not for you.
To register, you can use your email address or Google account. After you are done with the registration process, you can log in to the site and start earning.
One important thing to know is that you can’t use a VPN when you sign up, because the site can detect it and ban your account immediately. You also need to read the User Agreement page to learn more about their terms and policies, because they are very strict with the membership.
Many members report getting banned for not following their terms. As to what their violations were, I really can’t say.
Can you get support?
As I’ve mentioned earlier, there seems to be an issue with some of the links on the website, specifically the Help Center and Contact Us links. They don’t seem to be working. So, if you encounter any issues, you’ll have a hard time finding a way to resolve them.
I had to do a little bit of digging just to get its contact information. Apparently, you can email your concerns to hello@wicto.com. So, it does provide a way for you to ask for assistance. It’s just not very accessible information.
That is why I would say it doesn’t provide good support. Members should be able to ask for help easily, without having to do some research to find out how to contact the website. This is another thing that adds to the negative user experience the website provides.
Final Verdict
Wicto is a GPT site that rewards you for playing mobile games and answering surveys. It has some decent features, but it also has glaring issues you need to know.
To help you with your decision, here’s a summary of its pros and cons so you can clearly see what it offers.

Pros:
- Offers convenient payout options
- Low payout threshold

Cons:
- Low rewards
- Doesn’t provide a good user experience
- Has recurring issues with payment
- Doesn't provide good support
In my opinion, Wicto is not worth your time. Sure, it offers an easy way to earn rewards and convenient payout options. However, many other sites offer the same thing. The big difference is that those sites have higher earning potential.
They also don’t have many complaints regarding cashing out. The bottom line is that Wicto doesn’t really provide you with a good reason to sign up. You are better off joining websites that have higher earning potential and better user experience, in my opinion.
For a list of great options, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can quickly earn a decent amount. Plus, all of the sites and apps on this list provide a good user experience and aren’t known to be problematic with handling payouts.
