Zogo App Review: Is it Legit? (Here’s the Lowdown)

Zogo is an app that claims you can earn while going through financial education.

It’s quite a unique claim, and over the years of testing various online rewards sites and apps, this is probably the first time I’ve encountered this kind of app.

I was immediately curious when I encountered it and wondered, is it legit or just another scam?

So I went ahead and tested it to see how it works and how well it compares to other online rewards apps today.

When they install the app and sign up as a member, they have to input your code during registration. Once they’ve done that, they will become your referral. However, for you to earn rewards from your referral, they must first complete at least three modules and confirm their email.

When both requirements are met, you will receive 1,000 pineapples, which is a pretty decent reward, in my opinion. However, you need to make sure the people you invite are actually interested in earning fromit because you will only earn rewards if they complete at least three modules.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, you will earn pineapples for answering quizzes and inviting other people to join the app. But what can you do with the pineapples you’ve earned?

Well, just think of pineapples as the points you’ve earned. You can exchange the pineapples for various gift cards, as shown in the photo above.

The minimum number of pineapples required to redeem a gift card will be 5,000. This will be worth $5, and you have the option to go for Amazon, Target, Starbucks, and other gift cards.

I was actually surprised by the selection of gift cards the app offers. There were a decent number of gift cards available. But before you can redeem any gift card, you will have to go through a verification process through Stripe.

This process will involve taking a photo of your valid ID. It’s relatively easy to do, and the app will walk you through each step. After your account is verified, you can redeem any gift card as long as you have enough pineapples.

Overall, the payment system of Zogo is straightforward, and I like that it has a relatively low payout threshold.

However, it doesn’t offer any cash rewards. If you are interested in earning cash, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal instead.

How much money can you make?

The amount you can earn will mostly depend on how well you understand the modules. As explained earlier, you will answer a quiz after studying a module.

There’s no do-over for these quizzes, so you need to make sure you understand everything the module is trying to teach you before you attempt to answer the quiz to maximize your earnings.

Zogo does implement a system to reward members who are consistent. You see, you will receive additional pineapples for completing a module every day. This is called a streak, and the number of additional pineapples you will receive will increase the longer you maintain your streak. If you miss one day, your streak will reset back to one, and you’ll have to start from scratch again.

The number of pineapples you can earn for each module will depend on how complicated/hard the module is. When starting out, most modules will allow you to earn around 100 to 200 pineapples per module. That’s actually a low rate, in my opinion. If you convert that to cash, that will only be worth around $0.1 to $0.2.

But as you keep completing modules, the next opportunities will be more rewarding, so you will earn more. Plus, you have your streak, which will significantly increase your earnings. So overall, I would say the earning potential is pretty decent, in my opinion.

You do have to be a bit patient in the beginning because the rewards will be a bit low, but once you get going, it won’t be that hard to earn 5,000 pineapples so you can redeem a gift card.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Zogo is a mobile-only platform, so you will really need a mobile device to earn from it. The app can be downloaded from both the Android and iOS app stores.

The app is very user-friendly. You will get used to navigating it in just a few seconds. Plus, you will not encounter any annoying pop-up ads while using the app, so the overall user experience it offers is actually pretty pleasant.

All you can redeem are gift cards. The good thing, though, is that the threshold is relatively low, so it won’t take a long time to redeem one.

So, if you don’t mind earning just gift cards, you can give this a go.  But if you are looking to earn cash, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, and most of them (if not all) offer cash rewards as well.

Plus, you’ll definitely find a site or app you can join regardless of where you live.
