Madai Review: Worth Your Time? (An Inside Look)

I recently came across a unique new type of survey site called Madai, which claims you can earn instantly and anonymously.

It is not often I have come across a survey site that prioritizes data privacy (even though I have tested hundreds of sites), so I got curious and decided to check it out.

In this Madai review, I will give you an inside look and show you everything it offers, so you will know exactly what to expect from it. That way, you can make an informed decision on whether you should go for it or not.

What is Madai, and what does it offer?

Madai, as mentioned above, is a survey site that will let you earn rewards by answering surveys. And in case you are wondering, YES, it is legit since I really got paid when I tested it (see the video below for payment proof).

But to figure out if it is worth your while, you must first understand how it works. The best way to do so is to examine the earning opportunity it offers, so you will have a good idea of how good it is.

The earning opportunity – Paid surveys

To earn from Madai, you’ll need to answer surveys. But unlike other survey sites, the way you get to the surveys is quite different. If you go to the website, you just have to click the “Start Earning” button to start the earning process.

This is where it shows that it values your privacy because you don’t have to log in to a member dashboard to view the available surveys. After clicking the button, you’ll be asked to select the type of reward you want to earn. As of writing this review, it only offers Amazon gift cards and Bitcoin vouchers.

However, I have spoken with the developers and they said that they are planning to add more options in the future. When you get past that phase, you’ll see the opportunity to earn.

To proceed to the next step, you must click the Earn More button. But what’s weird is that even before you answer surveys, you’ll actually earn a small amount, as shown in the photo above. You’ll keep earning a small reward for clicking a couple of buttons. The amount you will earn will fluctuate, so I can’t really say how much you will get for clicking these buttons.

Once you proceed to the next phase, you’ll be asked to verify that you are not a bot. The site does this to make sure they are not being taken advantage of by bots. You just have to follow the instructions to get to the survey section.

After this step, you’ll be taken to the website’s smart matching system, where it will try to find surveys tailored just for you. For this phase, you’ll have to answer a few profile questions, but none of them will ask you for any sensitive information like your name, email address, etc.

Once you are done with this step, you’ll see the survey that Madai believes matches your profile best. You’ll have to go through a qualifying process to get to the actual survey in most cases, so expect to answer a few qualifying questions first.

If you pass the qualifying process, you get to answer the survey and earn the reward. Once you complete the survey, you get to see the next survey that matches your profile (if there are any).

If you fail to qualify, you just have to move on to the next survey available, or if there are none, you can just come back another time. The site will remember where you left off and how much you’ve accumulated, which was surprising to me since it doesn’t have a member dashboard.

That being said, I still recommend that you register using your email to make sure you keep your earnings, and you can then also use the same account on a different device. Later, I will discuss how you can sign up as a member.

After you’ve answered enough surveys and earned a certain amount, you’ll be able to redeem your reward. In the next section, I will discuss how you can redeem the reward you’ve chosen.

How do you get paid?

As mentioned above, you can only redeem Amazon gift cards and Bitcoin vouchers, but they do say they are working on adding additional reward options in the future.

Now, here’s where it can become a bit confusing the first time you cash out.

If you look at the redemption page, you will see something that says “Cash Out or Buy at $(a certain amount)”. I just want to make it clear that you don’t have to buy anything from the site.

You can withdraw your earnings directly as long as you’ve earned at least $5. The buy option is only there to provide you with an option to get its highest gift card value, which at the time of testing was $25. If you have not earned that much, the buy option will be an option, but if you have reached $25, you can cash out without the maximum value without paying for anything.

To redeem your reward, just click the “Redeem” button. Then, it will show you the summary of your redemption order, and it will ask you to input your name and email address. This is the only time the site will ask for any personal information from you (they need to know which email to send the voucher to).

After you’ve provided the necessary information, just click the “We Pay You” button to complete the redemption. After you’ve done this, the reward will be sent to you via email. It’s a simple process, in my opinion, but they could improve the way they present the payout options so that there won’t be any confusion.

I have talked to the team behind Madai about this, and they have said they are working on it. In fact, they have already made several improvements based on my suggestions, and that is very unusual for a survey site based on my experience. This says a lot about how much they seem to care about their users, and it is something I really appreciate.

How much money can you make?

The amount you can earn from Madai will depend on how many surveys you can answer. They pay well per survey compared to most other survey sites, so you can earn a significant amount quickly.

As for the availability of surveys, this will mostly depend on your profile and location. You have no control over this, so the best thing you can do is to just be honest when answering the profile questions. You also can’t cheat the site by using a VPN since it can detect if you are using one. When it sees you are using a VPN, it will not let you redeem your rewards, so don’t even bother using one.

Overall, I would say it has decent earning potential, but you just need to be patient since there won’t always be surveys available. However, this varies a lot depending on the country you live in. In some countries, you will basically always have surveys available.

Can you use it on mobile?

Madai doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but the website is mobile-friendly, so you can answer surveys using your mobile phone. This is a good thing because you don’t have to sit in front of a computer to earn rewards.

Aside from that, the overall user experience it provides is relatively pleasant. Apart from the confusing wordings in the redemption phase, it’s quite easy to understand how to navigate the site.

Who can join Madai?

Madai is a global platform, so you can use it anywhere in the world. And as mentioned earlier, you won’t have to go through any sign-up process to earn from it, which is what makes it unique, in my opinion.

You simply go to the website, click the “Start Earning” button, and you are good to go. The only time you will have to provide your name and email address is during registration. But as mentioned earlier, it is recommended that you register using your email address.

But unlike other survey sites, your email won’t be used for advertising purposes. When I registered, I never got any promotional emails from them, which is a good thing, in my opinion.

Can you get support?

If you have questions about the site, you can check out the FAQ section. It discusses some of the basic topics you need to know about Madai. If you can’t find the answers you need, you can contact support instead.

To do so, you must click the message icon found at the lower right-hand corner of the website. Then, a small window will pop up where you can communicate with a support representative directly.  The support team usually replies quickly during business hours, so you should be able to resolve your concerns easily.

Overall, I would say it does provide decent support to its members since it offers an easy way to ask for help.

Final Verdict

Madai is a legit survey site that lets you earn rewards by answering surveys. It has a couple of great and unusual features, but it also has some limitations you must consider.

But if you prefer to earn cash, then this is not the most ideal option, in my opinion, because it doesn’t offer cash rewards yet. However, I have spoken to them and they plan on adding more payout options soon, so if ever they start offering payout options like PayPal or direct bank transfer, then this site will become a “must-join” survey site, in my opinion.

In the meantime, if you prefer to earn cash, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount in a short time. Plus, most (if not all) of them offer cash rewards.
