If you’ve been looking for new ways to earn online, you might have come across Postwork.ai. It claims you can make money by helping to train artificial intelligence models. It promises flexible, remote tasks, which can certainly be appealing.
But whenever a platform advertises easy earnings, it’s always best to look closer before you decide to join.
In this Postwork review, I’ll walk you through how it works, what you can expect in terms of earning opportunities, and the potential pros and cons, so you’ll know whether it is worth your time.
So, let’s go ahead and check out what Postwork is all about, shall we?
What is Postwork, and what does it offer?
Postwork is a platform that gives you the chance to earn by contributing to the training of artificial intelligence models. Many websites offer this kind of earning opportunity, but that doesn’t automatically mean Postwork is legit or worth your time.
To find out if you should sign up for it, you must first understand how it works. The best way to do so is to take a closer look at the earning opportunity it supposedly offers. That way, you’ll know how much time and effort are needed to earn from it, and how good it really is.
So, here’s how to earn from Postwork.
The earning opportunity – Tasks
When you sign up and get accepted as an AI trainer, you can be assigned micro-tasks that will usually involve things like labeling content, checking the accuracy of outputs, validating datasets, or providing feedback on different kinds of data.
These are the kinds of tasks that help AI systems perform better in real-world scenarios.

However, you’ll need to have expertise in one of the areas shown in the photo above. For context, you need to have experience in areas like video editing, graphic design, copywriting, coding, data science, and more.
Once you’ve indicated the skill/s you have, you just have to wait for Postwork to assign you tasks to work on. So, you need to be patient.
Now, the big problem with what Postwork offers is that there’s not a lot of information regarding the tasks you must do. In fact, there’s really not a lot of information on its website. This is an issue because potential applicants don’t really have a lot to go with.
Usually, other sites that offer something similar explain how the process goes, or at least, they tell you the basic information you need to know, so you can find out if it is a good fit for you or not. You’ll only find out what you are supposed to do if they decide to entertain your application, which is what happened when I tested the site.

Apparently, you’ll be asked to record your screen using its proprietary software while doing the tasks. It is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux computers. What it does is it records your screen along with your computer input, such as mouse clicks and keystrokes. This data will be used to train AI.
That’s what you’ll have to do when working on the tasks that will be assigned to you.

How do you get paid?
As mentioned above, there’s not a lot of information on its website regarding the earning opportunity it offers. This includes the payment system it uses. But as I’ve mentioned earlier, Postwork will provide you with the necessary information after they decide to accept your application.
From what I can understand, it uses Stripe as its payment gateway, which means you will essentially be able to transfer your earnings directly to your bank account. It’s a fairly convenient payout system, which is to be expected from a site like this.
Now, based on my experience, AI training websites usually don’t have any payout threshold you need to reach to withdraw your earnings. Aside from that, they usually follow some form of payment schedule where they process payments automatically during payday.
Now, if you are interested in more sites that use a guaranteed convenient payment method, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer instead.
How much money can you make?
The problem with Postwork is that you have no idea how much they pay per task you complete. This is important information that you need to know before you can figure out its earning potential.
And again, the site doesn’t explain exactly how much they pay per task, but based on my experience, it will usually depend on the type of task you need to do. If it involves a specialized skill like coding, video editing, graphics design, etc., the pay is relatively decent because it requires mastery of a certain field to complete.
But for data entry tasks, the pay isn’t usually that great, based on my experience. Overall, I can’t really say what its earning potential is because of the lack of information provided by the website, which is not a good thing, in my opinion.
Can you use it on mobile?
Due to the nature of the tasks you must do on Postwork, the answer to the question above is NO. You’ll need to sit in front of a computer to perform AI training tasks.
Who can join Postwork?
The website doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but from what I can see, it is available globally. So, you should be able to apply for the position regardless of where you live.

To apply as an AI trainer for Postwork, you must fill out the application form. This will include providing a link to your LinkedIn profile or website. You will also be asked to provide a link to your freelancer profile from websites like Upwork or Fiverr.
Then, you’ll be asked to select the skills you have as a freelancer. This is very important because this is how the website can determine the type of tasks to send your way. So, make sure you only choose the ones you really have.
After you are done with the application form, just submit it. Postwork says it will take a few days before you hear back from them, and they will ask you to write down the application ID number for reference.
When I submitted my application, I heard back from them after half a day (give or take), which is quite a fast turnaround, in my opinion.
To become an AI trainer, you’ll have to take a compatibility test, complete a 1‑hour trial session, and submit it for review. If Postwork deems you eligible to be one of its AI trainers, you’ll hear back from them and receive further instructions.
It’s quite a long application process, so you need to be patient.
Can you get support?
As I’ve explained earlier, the website doesn’t have a lot of information. You can’t even see an About Us or Help page. The only thing it provides is an email address (contact@postwork.ai) you can use to get in touch with them.
This is why I would say it doesn’t offer good support, even though it provides a way for you to contact them. Having a Help or FAQ section can go a long way in providing a decent user experience, in my opinion.
Final Verdict
Postwork is a website that claims you can earn extra cash by training AI. It doesn’t have a lot of advantages, only a few disadvantages that I noticed when I was examining it.
Let me wrap up this review by summarizing its pros and cons, so you can see a clear overview of what it offers.

Pros:
- Available globally

Cons:
- Not transparent with its pay structure
- Doesn’t have a lot of information on its website
- Doesn’t provide good support
In my opinion, Postwork is not worth your time. It doesn’t provide a lot of information, so you basically don’t have any idea what you are getting into. If you want to earn by training AI, there are better options where you will know exactly how you will get paid, what the payment rates are, etc.
