At first glance, Scannit looks like an interesting way to earn. It claims you can earn rewards by training AI. It sounds simple and even a bit unique compared to many other earning apps.
But as with any platform that promises payment for small tasks, the key question is whether it actually delivers.
So, before you spend time on Scannit, you need to know exactly how it works, what you can expect, and if the rewards are worth your effort.
In this Scannit review, I will give you a clear look at how it works, how you can earn, what the payout options are, and more. That way, you can decide if it makes sense for you to join.
So, let’s get down to it, shall we?
What is Scannit, and what does it offer?
Scannit is a mobile app that lets users earn rewards by completing small data tasks. These tasks are designed to train AI (artificial intelligence).
It sounds appealing, but before deciding to use it, it’s important to look at how you can actually earn, so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort are needed while using it.
So, here’s how to earn from Scannit.
Option 1 – Quests
The main way to earn rewards from Scannit is by completing quests. These quests are just short tasks you can do to earn rewards. To start, you must log in to the app and click the Questboard link.

Then, you will see all the available quests you can work on (refer to the photo above). Most (if not all) of the quests you must do will involve taking photos.
You won’t have to exit the app to take the photo. When you work on a quest, there’s a button you can press to open the camera on your phone. Once you do that, just take a photo of the subject and submit it.
Then, Scannit will review your submission, and if everything checks out (meaning you’ve followed all the instructions provided by the quest), you’ll receive the reward promised, which will be a certain number of points. Later, I will explain what you can do with the points you’ve earned.
There are a decent number of quests available at any given time, but they will usually involve you having to go somewhere to take photos of certain subjects. For example, when I was testing the app, one quest asked me to take three photos of an electric vehicle (EV) charger.
If you don’t own an EV, then you’ll have to go to an EV charging station or the house of a friend who owns one to get the photos you need. So, it’s not as easy as you might think. Some quests will require a lot of effort on your end.
Option 2 – Referral Program
Another way you can earn rewards is through its referral program. To earn, you’ll have to share your referral code with the person you want to invite.

Then, you must remind them to input the code once they sign up as a member of Scannit. When that happens, they will become your referral. As a reward, you’ll receive 2,000 points, as well as a 10% commission every time your referral earns points from the app.
Aside from that, you’ll also receive an additional 10% on the points earned by people they refer. It’s a decent way to earn extra points, in my opinion, but you must make sure that you invite people who are really interested in the platform, so you can earn passively.

How do you get paid?
Scannit is still in its beta stage, so it won’t allow you to convert the points you’ve earned yet. However, the website does say that eventually, if this feature gets enabled, you’ll have the option to redeem gift cards or $SCAN tokens.
Now, it’s worth noting that $SCAN tokens don’t have any monetary value yet, so take that with a grain of salt if you are planning to earn crypto. One big upside that the site says is that you don’t have to reach a threshold to withdraw your earnings.
I will hold off on saying how good its payout system is until this feature actually goes live. For now, if you prefer sites that are guaranteed to let you withdraw your earnings, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer instead.
How much money can you make?
It’s hard to determine how much money you can earn from it, since, as explained above, $SCAN tokens don’t have any monetary value yet. Plus, there’s no information regarding the conversion rate of points to rewards yet.
So, I can’t conclusively say if it has good or bad earning potential. I will update this article if that feature ever goes live and I can do more testing.
Can you use it on a desktop?
Scannit is a mobile-only platform, so you will need to use your phone to earn from it. And due to the nature of the earning opportunities it offers, there’s no point in using it on a computer.

As for the app, its beta version can be downloaded from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. It’s also relatively easy to use. When I tested it, I found that the user interface was quite intuitive, so you shouldn’t have a hard time navigating it.
From what I’ve observed, it does provide a decent user experience, which is what you want from an app like this, in my opinion.
Who can join Scannit?
Scannit does not clearly state which countries it supports. There is also no official list of eligible regions on the website. But from what I can see, it is available globally, or at least in countries where crypto is legal.

To sign up as a member, you must install the app first. Then, when you open the app for the first time, you’ll be asked if you want to sign up using your Google account or set up your login credentials. After this step, you’ll have to set up your profile.
Once you are done with this phase, you can log in to the app and start working on quests.
Can you get support?
Scannit has a Help Center page you can check out if you have questions about the platform. It discusses most of the basic topics you need to know.
But if you can’t find the answers you need, or you need help regarding a technical issue, you can contact its support team instead. You can use the contact form provided by the website.
You can also join its Discord channel if you want to chat with other members or Scannit representatives. Overall, I would say it does provide decent support to its members, since it offers a couple of convenient ways for you to ask for help.
Final Verdict
Scannit is an app that lets you earn rewards by completing quests. It has some upside, but it also has certain limitations you must consider.
To help you with your decision, here’s a summary of its pros and cons, so you can see a clear overview of what it offers.

Pros:
- Offers an interesting way to earn rewards
- Available more or less worldwide

Cons:
- The cash-out feature is still not available
- No mention of the site offering cash rewards
In my opinion, Scannit is not for everyone. If you love to speculate on crypto projects, Scannit can be a viable option. It offers an interesting and free way to earn crypto. But if you prefer guaranteed ways to earn rewards, this is not the best option, in my opinion.
At this stage in its development, it is still purely speculative, so I would only recommend you join if you believe in the potential of the project. Otherwise, you are better off joining sites and apps that offer a guaranteed way to earn.
For a list of great options, I recommend you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount quickly.
