Givvy Review – Worth Your Time? (What You NEED to Know)

If you are looking for ways to earn some extra money online, it is great to use options you can use from your phone.

Then you can earn anytime and anywhere, provided, of course, you find a good app you can earn from.

One app that promises this kind of opportunity is called Givvy. Givvy promises you’ll be able to earn by playing simple games and inviting your friends. Sounds like a fun way to earn, right?

Well, before you go and download the app, there are a few things you have to verify first, like is Givvy legit or is it a scam?

This Givvy review will check the legitimacy of the app, and it will also tell you all you need to know about the app so you can decide if it is indeed worth your time or not.

What is Givvy, and what does it offer?

Givvy is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) app that will pay you for answering surveys, completing offers, and participating in their referral program. It is indeed a legit app that will pay you for doing such things.

Before going over what it offers, I just want to clarify the name to avoid confusion. Givvy now has quite a lot of different apps with the name Givvy. For example, Givvy Videos which focuses on videos as an earning method.

Or Givvy Radios, where you can earn by listening to the radio.

These are just a few examples, but at the time of updating this review, Givvy has more than 10 earning apps like this. This review will focus on the original Givvy app that was the first they launched. The systems of all of them are very similar but there are some differences in the earning methods.

Now, to fully understand how this app works and how well you can earn from it, we have to take a closer look at the earning opportunities it offers.

Option 1 – Paid surveys

One way to earn from this site is by answering paid surveys. Givvy is not a survey app, so it doesn’t have its own surveys. Instead, you will be given access to a survey router called TheoremReach.

From time to time, TheoremReach will provide you with surveys you can answer to earn rewards. When you take on a survey, you will first have to answer a set of qualifying questions to determine if you belong to the demographic group the survey is intended for.

If you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey and earn the reward. If you fail to qualify, you will still receive a small compensation for your time.

Take note, though, that if you are already a member of another site that offers TheoremReach surveys, I highly suggest you only choose one site to answer TheoremReach surveys.

Option 2 – Paid offers

Paid offers is the type of earning opportunity that GPT apps and sites specialize in. Paid offers are basically just short tasks you can do to earn rewards.

In Givvy’s case, the paid offers you can complete will usually ask you to download and play a mobile game or sign up for a certain mobile app (the more common one is where it will ask you to play a game).

Every offer will have a set of requirements or instructions you need to take note of. You have to make sure you meet all the requirements or follow all the instructions down to the T to earn the reward for it.

So, make it a habit to read the instructions carefully before you start working on any paid offer. Once you complete the offer, you will receive the reward. But some offers will take time before it will be credited to your Givvy account.

So, don’t worry if you don’t see your reward right away. Just make sure to take note of all the offers you’ve completed so you can contest it in case you really won’t receive your reward (I will discuss later how you can contact their customer support).

Option 3 – Giveaways

Givvy also has giveaways you can join to earn rewards. Some giveaways are free to join, while some will cost you a certain number of coins to join.

Their free giveaways can be claimed once a day. So, when you log in to the app, make sure to claim your daily giveaway. You will usually receive a certain number of coins for this kind of giveaway.

For giveaways like the ones shown in the photo above, you will have to pay a certain number of coins to get one entry for their giveaway. You can get as many entries as you want as long as you can pay for it with the coins you have.

As you can see in the photo above, when you join a giveaway, you will have the chance to win a significant amount.

But I urge you to practice caution when joining these giveaways because there is no guarantee you will win. It’s a game of chance, after all. So, it’s not exactly the most ideal way to earn from this app.

Option 4 – Referral program

Lastly, you can earn rewards by participating in their referral program. This is the part where you can invite other people to join the app.

Simply share your invite link with the people you want to invite. When they sign up using your link, they will become your referral. Both your referral and you will then receive 130 coins when that happens.

You will also receive an additional 240 coins when your referral earns his or her first 500 coins. The reward is not significant, but it’s a nice bonus to have.

I like the fact that you will immediately receive a reward once the person you invite signs up. Not a lot of GPT apps offer this kind of opportunity.

How do you get paid?

As you already know, you will earn a certain number of coins for every activity you complete on this app. It will be credited to your Givvy account balance.

You can then convert your coins to the currency you chose when you registered on the app. In my case, I chose US dollars as the default currency and the exchange rate is 119 coins is equivalent to $0.01.

You can then choose to withdraw your earnings via PayPal or Revolut. For PayPal withdrawals, you will need to earn $0.29 to withdraw your earnings, while for Revolut, you will only need to earn $0.1. It’s a very low threshold, so you can reach it with relative ease.

I like the fact that they offer payment via PayPal, which, in my opinion, is one of the most convenient payment options around today.

How much money can you make?

Most of the offers and surveys you can complete on Givvy will earn you around 50 to 100 coins. Some will allow you to earn more than that. Now, even though it sounds like earning hundreds of coins is a lot, it actually isn’t.

As you can see in the conversion rate above, 119 is only worth $0.01. You will literally have to earn thousands of coins to earn a mere $1. And to do that, you will have to answer a lot of surveys, complete a lot of offers, and invite a lot of friends.

However, you can boost your earnings if you can earn enough to get a spot at the top of their leaderboards. They have a daily and weekly leaderboard where you will receive additional rewards if you are among the top earners.

You will also receive bonus coins the longer you are logged in to the app and using it. So, if you want to earn a decent amount from this app, you have to strive to be among their top earners, and to do that, you have to invest a significant amount of time.

It’s a nice goal to set your sights on, but overall, I would still say this app has a very low earning potential. You will have to invest a lot of time to earn a decent amount.

Can you use it on a desktop?

Givvy is a mobile-only platform. So, it’s not available on desktops and laptops. The earning opportunities it offers don’t allow for desktop use since every earning opportunity will require the use of a mobile device.

So, you will really have to download their app if you want to become a member of their platform. The good news is that their app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Their app is also user-friendly. You will easily get used to how it works. The user interface is intuitive, and the app isn’t spammy. You will encounter ads from time to time, but not to the point that it will get annoying.

Who can join Givvy?

Givvy is available globally. This means you will be able to download the app and register as a member regardless of where you live.

Once you install the app, you can actually log in directly without registering. But you have to make sure you link your Givvy account to either your Facebook or Google account. This is to make sure your progress will be saved in case you need to reset your mobile device or uninstall the app.

As mentioned earlier, you can also set the language and the currency you will be using once you sign up as a member. You do have the option to change it later.

Can you get support?

One main drawback of this app that I’ve noticed is the lack of relevant information about how the app works and a lot of other things. Normally, in my experience, GPT apps and sites have a FAQ page you can refer to if you have any questions about the site or app.

But Givvy doesn’t have that. So, if you have any inquiries, you will have to get in touch with their support team. Fortunately, they do offer a way for you to get in touch with their support team using the Contact page found inside the app.

You can also email them directly at givvy.feedback@gmail.com. Overall, I would say they have a decent support system in place since they offer a way for you to communicate with their support team.

I just wish they had some sort of page that would discuss the basic features of the app. This would make the app a bit more user-friendly, in my opinion.

Final Verdict

Givvy is a GPT app that will pay you for playing simple games and completing micro-tasks. It has a couple of good features to offer, but it also has drawbacks you need to consider.

So, let me conclude this review with a summary of its pros and cons to give you an overview of what the site has to offer so you can decide if it is truly worth your time or not.

In my opinion, if you are looking for an efficient way to earn extra cash, Givvy isn’t an ideal option.

Sure, it offers an interesting and fun way to earn, but the rewards you will earn are quite low. So, if you want to earn a decent amount, you will have to invest a significant amount of time.

This makes their low payout threshold kind of irrelevant since it will still take a long time for you to earn a decent amount.

So, I would instead suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country. The sites on this list all have good earning potential and offer decent rewards, so you won’t have to spend a lot of time to earn a decent amount. Plus, you will also find a site you can join regardless of where you live.
