Novelah, as the name suggests, is a mobile app that will let you earn rewards by reading local novels and by working on the other earning opportunities it offers. And yes, it does look like a legit app because you can really earn rewards from it.

However, that doesn’t mean you should go ahead and download it immediately. To find out if it is worth it, the first step is to understand how it works. The only way to do so is to examine the earning opportunities it offers so you will have a clear idea of how good it is and how much time and effort is needed to earn from it.

Option 1 – Collecting Coins

One way to earn from Novelah is by collecting coins. This opportunity is fairly easy. All you have to do is log in to the app, and you will immediately see all the coins you can collect (refer to the photo below).

Simply click the coin, and it will open a pop-up screen offering to double the coins you will receive if you watch a video ad. It’s up to you if you want to do it, but you can also just skip it and collect the coins instead.

If you decide to skip the offer, you’ll only receive around 100 coins. The coin icons will replenish occasionally, so you have to be on the lookout for it while you are using the app. It’s a simple way to earn, but the earnings from it are quite limited.

Option 2 – Reading Novels

As mentioned above, you’ll also be able to earn by reading local novels. This means the novels you’ll be reading are written by people who live in your region.

To earn, simply pick a novel to read and start reading it. Then, a progress bar that will look like a coin icon will appear in the upper right-hand corner and start loading when you scroll down and continue reading.

Once the progress bar completes one rotation, you will receive a certain number of coins (around 40 to 80 coins). You’ll be able to keep earning by reading the novel. Once you finish one, just open another novel to continue earning.

It’s also a very simple way to earn, but you won’t earn a lot of coins from it. Just think of the coins you will receive as a bonus, and the real reward is the novel that you were able to read for free, in my opinion.

Option 3 – Playing Games

You can earn additional coins by playing the featured games. To access this opportunity, just click the Money icon that will appear on the right side of the app.

Then, you’ll see something similar to the photo above. Simply pick a game you want to play and install it. Once it is installed, you must go back to the Novelah app, go to the My Games section, and open the game from there.

This is a very important step you must not forget because this is the only way for Novelah to track your progress and award you the corresponding number of coins. You see, every game will have a certain number of tasks you must complete to earn rewards.

Once a task is completed, you’ll be able to claim the coins promised. Once you’ve completed all the tasks, you should move on to the next game because you won’t earn any more rewards from it.

There are a decent number of games featured at any given time, so you won’t run out of opportunities to earn. Most of the games featured are puzzle games, so if you like this kind of game, you’ll enjoy this opportunity, in my opinion.

You can earn bonus rewards by completing Novelah's daily tasks. To view the daily tasks, click the Invite icon and hit the Offer link at the top. Then, you’ll see something similar to the photo below.

These tasks will usually just ask you to read novels, watch short videos inside the app, and basically become an active member of the app. So, it won’t be that hard to complete as long as you keep using the app.

Think of the rewards you will earn from this opportunity as bonus rewards for doing what you are supposed to do in the app.

Option 5 – Referral Program

Lastly, you can earn more rewards through Novelah’s referral program. All you have to do is invite people to download, install, and sign up as a member to earn. To do so, you must share your referral code with the people you invite and remind them to input it during sign-up.

When they sign up and input your code, they will become your referral. But for you to earn the reward, your referral must read at least 5 chapters of a novel for at least 7 consecutive days. When this requirement is fulfilled, you’ll receive a total of 180,000 coins as a reward.

If they fail to meet this requirement, you’ll only receive a total of 110,000 coins, provided they input your referral code. Now, while it might look like you are earning a lot from this opportunity, you will realize that the reward this opportunity offers is very low, and later, I will explain why.

How do you get paid?

As explained above, all the earning opportunities the app offers will reward you with coins. Now, the question is, what can you do with the coins you’ve earned?

Well, you can use it to redeem various rewards depending on which country you live in. The most common option available in all countries is PayPal. As shown in the photo above, you’ll need to earn at least 15,000,000 coins to make a $PayPal withdrawal that is worth around $20.

It’s a very high threshold, in my opinion, so it will take quite a long time to redeem this reward. The other local payout options, based on my experience, have lower thresholds, so they are the more realistic options, in my opinion.

Overall, I would consider its payout system to be relatively simple. I like the fact that it offers a convenient payout option like PayPal. If you are interested in more sites and apps that offer a convenient payout method, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal as well.

How much money can you make?

I will tell you right now that you will not earn a lot from Novelah. As shown above, you’ll need to earn at least 15,000,000 coins just to make a $20 PayPal withdrawal. So, even if you manage to get 10 referrals (which is already quite hard to do), you will still be way off the threshold.

This is why it may look like you are earning a lot of coins, but in reality, you are actually just earning a few cents from its earning opportunities.
