Getting free products in exchange for sharing your opinion sounds very appealing. And that’s exactly what Try & Review claims to offer. Instead of paying you cash, it promises free product testing opportunities where you can try items from well-known brands and keep them.
This can be attractive, especially if you enjoy testing new products. But there is an important question you need to answer first: Is it actually worth joining, and what can you realistically expect from it?
In this Tryandreview.com review, I will explain exactly how it works, how you earn, and whether it’s worth your time.

What is Try & Review, and what does it offer?
Try & Review is a consumer review and product testing platform founded in Singapore (but it is available in more countries – more on this later). And yes, it is legit because it really allows members to test products and share feedback with brands and other consumers.
Now, the question is, is it worth your time?
Well, the only way to know is to understand how it works. And to do that, we must take a closer look at the earning opportunity it offers, so you will have a clear idea of how much time and effort are required to earn from it.
So, here’s what Try & Review offers.
The earning opportunity – Product tests
To be clear, Try & Review does not offer earnings in the traditional sense. There is no cash payment for completing product tests. Instead, the reward for completing the product tests is free products. So, if you were hoping to earn extra cash, then this is not for you.
Once you become a member of the platform, you can log in to the member dashboard and go to the
“Tests” section to see all the ongoing product testing opportunities (refer to the photo above). When you see a product you are interested in testing, just click the “Apply Now” button.
Then, you’ll be asked to fill out a qualification survey. Make sure to answer the survey as honestly as possible. Once you are done with the survey, just wait for confirmation from the site.
If you get chosen, you will receive an email from them, so make sure to check your email inbox regularly. They don’t really tell you how long you have to wait, but based on my testing, it shouldn’t take more than a couple of days to hear back from them if you get selected.
If you don’t hear back from them for more than a week, that means you weren’t chosen for the testing opportunity. Most of the time, these product testing opportunities will mean you’ll receive the product by mail. The email will include the date the product will be shipped to your address. Shipping will be covered by the site, so you don’t have to pay anything.
But from time to time, there will be product testing opportunities that ask you to buy a product to test it. If this is the case, they will reimburse you for the amount you spent on the product, so you will still essentially get the product for free.
As for the type of products you can test, the platform focuses mainly on categories like:

The number of testing opportunities available will depend on your profile and location. When I was testing the platform, there were around 7 ongoing testing opportunities available. That’s a decent number, in my opinion.

How do you get paid?
As explained earlier, you won’t earn anything from Try & Review. All you’ll get are free products if you participate in its product testing opportunities.
As for the opportunities that will ask you to buy products, as mentioned, the site will reimburse/refund you for the expenses. Reimbursements will be done through Payoneer, so make sure you have a Payoneer account if you decide to become a member of Try & Review.

How to increase your chances of qualifying for product tests?
As I’ve mentioned earlier, there’s a way to increase your chances of qualifying for product tests. This is through its loyalty program called Try & Review Tribe.
It’s designed to reward members who actively contribute reviews and content. You automatically become part of it when you start contributing and earn your first badge. You earn badges by doing simple activities like:
- Writing product reviews
- Uploading photos or videos
- Completing surveys
- Participating in product testing
- Linking your social media account
In short, you’ll have to be an active member of the platform. The main benefit of being a part of the tribe is increased visibility and selection chances. So, don’t ignore the Review section of the platform because by writing more product reviews, you’ll have a better chance of qualifying for product tests.
Can you use it on mobile?
Try & Review has a mobile app you can download to apply for product tests and write product reviews even when you are not in front of a computer. The app works on both Android and iOS devices, so compatibility won’t be an issue.
The app has all the features of the web-based platform, so you don’t really need a computer to participate in the activities it offers. The user interface is also intuitive, so you can easily navigate it.
The overall user experience it provides is generally pleasant, in my opinion.
Who can join Try & Review?
You will see the countries it is available in when you select the language you prefer. This can be found at the top-right corner of the website. There are 19 countries listed in that section. However, in their FAQ section, it says it is only available in 17 countries.
I'm not exactly sure if this is just outdated information or if this is the right one. So, if you don’t live in any of the countries shown in the Language section, it might not be available in your country.
To sign up, you can use your email address. You can also use your Facebook or Google account to log in.
Once you are done registering, you’ll need to set up your profile, which includes providing links to your Facebook and Instagram profiles. You’ll also need to provide your home address, which is important because they will use it to ship the products you need to test.
Based on my testing, it takes about 5 minutes to complete your profile. Once you are done with this step, you can start applying for product tests.
Can you get support?
You can check out the Help section of the platform if you have questions. It discusses most of the basic topics you need to know. If you can’t find the answers you need, you can contact its support team instead.

Overall, I would say it provides decent support to its members, as it offers a couple of convenient ways for you to ask for help.

Try & Review is a legit product-testing platform that lets you get free products by testing them and writing honest reviews. It has a couple of good features, but it also has certain limitations you must consider.

In my opinion, Try & Review is not a bad product testing platform. If your goal is just to get free products, this can be one of the more decent sites to join, in my opinion. It’s very transparent, and the user experience it provides is relatively pleasant.
Just bear in mind that the product testing opportunities are not that many, so temper your expectations about how often you can get free stuff.
But if your goal is to earn extra cash, this isn't for you because it doesn’t offer cash rewards (or even gift cards) for its product testing opportunities. All you’ll get from them is free products.
So, if you want to earn extra cash, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a decent amount quickly.
Plus, most (if not all) of them offer cash rewards.
