10 top survey sites for China
Let me just clarify that this is not a complete list of free Chinese online earning sites. Instead, it is a list of the sites that will be worth your time. In other words, this list will focus more on quality rather than quantity.
I will keep updating this list, so make sure to bookmark this page and check back from time to time for new opportunities.
#1 Pawns
- What you do
- Shares your unused internet, plus surveys and games
- Cash out from
- $5
- Paid via
- PayPal · Payoneer · Bitcoin +2 more
Pawns offers both passive and active ways to earn some extra money online in China.
You can earn passively just by installing it on your devices and sharing your unused internet. You can earn actively by taking paid surveys, playing games, and more.
If you join through the link below, you will get a $1 joining bonus into your account right away. Once you have earned $5, you can redeem via PayPal or Bitcoin.
#2 Triaba China
- What you do
- Surveys · China panel and OpinionApp
- Cash out from
- $10around ¥65
- Paid via
- GCodes
Another survey site with an exclusive panel for Chinese residents is called Triaba. This survey site will allow you to earn by simply answering surveys. You will earn between ¥2 and ¥35 or more for each survey you complete.
It doesn’t offer any cash rewards, but the payout threshold is quite low. You can redeem rewards once you’ve earned $10, which is equivalent to around ¥65.
What’s good about this site is that it offers a very simple way for you to earn extra cash. It also has a mobile app you can download called OpinionAPP, so you can earn even when you are not in front of a computer.
#3 Madai
- What you do
- Surveys
- Cash out from
- $5around ¥35
- Paid via
- PayPal · Amazon gift cards · Bitcoin vouchers
Madai is a survey site that will let you earn rewards by answering surveys. There are a decent number of surveys available at any given time, so you can earn regularly.
You can get paid via PayPal or in Amazon gift cards. You can also redeem Bitcoin vouchers. The payout threshold will be $5 (or the Yuan equivalent).
#4 Surveyeah
- What you do
- Surveys in Mandarin · China panel
- Cash out from
- $10 gift cards$20 PayPal
- Paid via
- PayPal · Skrill · Western Union +2 more
Surveyeah is a survey site that is available more or less globally. It has an exclusive panel for China, so if that is what you are after, then this site is another good site to join. It only offers one way for you to earn, which is by answering surveys.
It has a decent number of surveys available, but you will have to be a bit more patient because the payout threshold is quite high if you want to withdraw your earnings via PayPal ($20). The threshold is lower, though, if you choose to redeem Amazon gift cards instead ($10). The other payout methods they offer will require you to earn $50. So, it’s not the ideal payment option to go for.
All in all, Surveyeah is a good site to join because it offers a very simple way to earn. Their site is also very user-friendly, so you will easily get used to using it.
#5 ySense
- What you do
- Surveys, paid offers and more
- Cash out from
- $5 gift cards$10 PayPal
- Paid via
- PayPal · Payoneer · AirTM +2 more
Another GPT site that offers plenty of ways for you to earn is called ySense. This GPT site will allow you to earn by taking surveys, doing paid offers, and more.
It also offers multiple payment options like PayPal, Skrill, and Payoneer. You can also convert your rewards to gift cards. If you want to get paid via PayPal, you will only need to earn $10. For gift cards, the threshold is a lot lower ($5).
ySense offers a way for you to earn rewards regularly, which is really the strength of this GPT site, in my opinion. So, if you are looking for a site that will allow you to earn regularly, this is one of the better options in China.
#6 Honeygain
- What you do
- Passive appShares your unused internet
- Cash out from
- $0.50 crypto$20 PayPal
- Paid via
- PayPal · Bitcoin · More options through JumpTask
If you are looking for an effortless way to earn extra cash in China, Honeygain is one of the most convenient options out there today. This site will allow you to earn by simply installing their app or software on your device. It will then use your unused bandwidth and share it with its clients for web intelligence and content delivery.
That’s how you earn from this site. It’s basically a passive form of income that you can just set and forget until it’s time to withdraw your earnings. And speaking of withdrawing your earnings, you can withdraw your earnings via PayPal once you’ve earned $20.
As you can see, it is a very convenient way to earn extra cash as long as you don’t mind sharing your bandwidth. If you join through the invitation link below, you will get a $5 joining bonus into your account right away.
#7 TimeBucks
- What you do
- Surveys, slideshows, videos, offers, social media, captchas
- Cash out from
- $3
- Paid via
- AirTM · Wise · PayPal +5 more
If you are looking for a site that offers plenty of different ways to make some extra money online in China, your best option is TimeBucks. This is not a survey site but a Get-Paid-To (GPT) site. You will be able to earn in multiple ways, like answering surveys, watching online slideshows, watching videos, taking paid offers, doing social media tasks, solving captchas, clicking ads, and more.
It has a relatively low threshold of $3. Once you reach the threshold, you can withdraw your earnings via AirTM, Wise, PayPal, Visa, Skrill, Litecoin, Solana, and Revolut. The payouts will be processed automatically every Monday to Friday, so it will be quite convenient, in my opinion.
All in all, what makes this a good option is that it offers multiple ways for you to earn, which will allow you to earn regularly.
#8 TGM Panel
- What you do
- Surveys; small reward when screened out · China panel
- Cash out from
- ¥85PayPal
- Paid via
- PayPal
Another survey site with an exclusive panel for China is TGM Panel. To earn rewards, all you have to do is answer surveys. The good thing about this site is that even if you fail to qualify for a survey, you will still be rewarded, albeit in a much smaller amount. But that’s better than getting nothing.
You can then withdraw your earnings via PayPal once you’ve earned ¥85, which is a relatively low amount. Their site is very user-friendly, so you won’t have a hard time using it.
Overall, TGM Panel is a good option mainly because it will still reward you even if you fail to qualify for a survey, and it pays quite well for the surveys you take.
#9 OpinionWorld
- What you do
- Surveys · China panel
- Cash out from
- ¥50 for Alipay, varies for gift cards
- Paid via
- Alipay · Gift cards
OpinionWorld also has a specific survey panel for China. It has a decent number of surveys available, and it pays a decent amount for every survey you complete.
You can earn cash from this site through Alipay, which is a third-party mobile and online payment platform. You will only need to earn ¥50 to withdraw your earnings to your Alipay account. You can also convert your rewards to various gift cards. The threshold will depend on the gift card you want to redeem.
Overall, OpinionWorld is also a decent survey site to join because you can earn a decent amount without having to invest a lot of time.
#10 Ipsos iSay
- What you do
- Surveys in Chinese · China panel
- Cash out from
- ¥20some rewards higher
- Paid via

Ipsos iSay has a decent number of paid surveys in China.
You can join the specific Chinese panel and take surveys in Chinese there. It is easy to use, and you can see a list of the available surveys as soon as you log in.
Once you have earned ¥20, you can withdraw. Just be aware that some payout options/gift cards have a higher threshold.

Thanks for sharing. Surveytime has changed a lot recently and not really a platform I recommend anymore. I will get the list updated asap to reflect this and add a few new options also.
Ipsos isay is only accepting American numbers
No, Ipsos is available in around 100 countries.
Had to stop trying to do surveys in China because they’re all in mandarin – nothing I found was in English, so a dead end for foreigners to work on them
In that case, I suggest you use other online micro tasks to earn some extra cash instead.
plesas i want to know more about the micro tasks so i can earn.
You can see a list of the best micro tasks and guides for them here.
Surveytime, now in China is not registered, verify the Chinese phone is not supported. But being able to log on to his website is frustrating.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. If you have any technical problems with it, you need to contact their support.

I got such message above when I tried to find a paid survey after I signed up on ysense.com. Looks like China is not supported by ysense.com yet.
