I have tested this platform thoroughly, and let me just reveal it right away – Yes, MetroOpinion is a legit survey site since it will really pay you for answering surveys.

To answer that, we have to consider several things, and this MetroOpinion review will reveal the full details so you know exactly what to expect and can decide if it is a good fit for you or not.
What is MetroOpinion, and what does it offer?
As mentioned above, MetroOpinion is a survey site that will pay you to answer the surveys they offer. This survey site is powered by Cint AB, a popular market research company that mainly deals with digital insights gathering.
That it offers these surveys has both advantages and disadvantages. But one advantage is that you know it is backed by a legit company and, therefore, can expect to get paid.
So you do not have to worry about that part – it is a real survey site that pays and not one of the fake scams.
However, that does not mean it will necessarily be worth your time. To find out more about it, you must know all the details about what it offers.
Now, to understand how MetroOpinion works and what it offers, we first have to take a closer look at the earning opportunity it offers. This should also give you an idea of how well you can earn from the site.

MetroOpinion only offers one kind of earning opportunity, and that is through paid surveys. When you become a member of their survey panel, you will be invited to participate in surveys from time to time.
There are two ways you can check if there are available surveys you can answer. You can check your email and see if there are survey invites from MetroOpinion, or you can log in to their member dashboard and view all the available surveys.
If you go the email route, you will see a link to the survey and a description of how long it will take and how much you will be credited for completing it in the email you will receive. To answer the survey, you just have to click the link.
If you log in to the member dashboard, you can view all the available surveys in the “Surveys” section. Just choose which survey you want to answer.
When you start answering the survey, you will actually have to provide a bit of basic information about yourself first. Then, you’ll have to answer a set of qualifying questions so the site can determine if you are included in the demographic the survey is intended for.
Survey sites do this to make sure the responses they get will really provide valuable opinions/feedback from the intended audience. If you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey. If you don’t qualify, then you simply move on to the next survey available (if there are any).
Earning from this site is really straightforward. You try to qualify for surveys, and when you do, once you complete it, you will receive the reward promised. The only downside is that if there aren’t any surveys available, you won’t earn any reward.
And, in my experience, you should not expect too many surveys from MetroOpinion. But more about the full earning potential later.

How do you get paid?
For every survey you successfully complete, you will earn a certain amount, which will be in the currency of your country (I will discuss later which countries MetroOpinion is available in).
As mentioned above, the reward will be credited to your MetroOpinion account balance.
They do not have a full overview of the exact methods in each country, but overall, the available methods will depend on your country.
During my testing, the payment options available were gift cards, PayPal, and donations.
The most common payment option seems to be PayPal. But since PayPal is not available in all countries, there will be some places where you can, obviously, not use that.
Before you can withdraw your earnings, though, you will have to reach the payout threshold, and that will also vary depending on your country. The threshold will typically be around $5 to $10 (or the equivalent of that in your local currency).
Once you reach the threshold, you can withdraw your earnings. For PayPal withdrawals, there’s a 2% fee for making the transfer. So, don’t expect to receive the full amount when you withdraw your earnings via PayPal.
Their payment method is very straightforward. I like the fact that they offer a convenient payment method like PayPal. If you are interested in more sites that offer a convenient payment method, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal.
But if you live in a country where that is not an option and still prefer getting paid in cash, then you can check out platforms that pay via Payoneer here.
How much money can you make?
The amount of money you can earn from a MetroOpinion survey will range from $0.50 to $5, which is not a bad rate, in my opinion. However, the issue here is that the site really doesn’t offer a lot of surveys.
Also, be aware that even though you potentially can earn up to $5 per survey, as they claim, you will very rarely get surveys that pay that much.
Plus, you also have to keep in mind that you won’t earn from every survey you get invited to answer, as you will not qualify for all surveys. So, in my experience, it’s a bit hard to earn regular money from it.
You have no control over how many survey invites you receive. The best thing you can do is to complete your profile immediately to increase your chances of receiving survey invites.
And as you can see in the photo above, there are a lot of profile questions you need to answer. So, you need to set aside a bit of time for this. Also, you won’t get paid to complete your profile, but it is something you must do if you hope to earn from this site.
Overall, while the site does pay a decent amount for every survey you complete, the earning potential is still quite low since they don’t really offer that many surveys, and they don’t offer any other type of earning opportunity.
So, if there aren’t any surveys available, then you won’t earn anything from this site.
Also, even though you can theoretically earn up to $5 per survey, you need to be aware that surveys that pay this much will be very rare.
Can you use it on mobile?
MetroOpinion doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but you can still access their website from a mobile device. You just have to use a mobile web browser.
The good thing is that their site is optimized for mobile use. You will be able to click the links and navigate through the site easily.
You also don’t have to zoom in to read all the content. So, you will be able to answer surveys from your mobile device with relative ease.
Their site does have a few ads, but not to the point where it becomes spammy. That’s why I would say their website is user-friendly.
Who can join MetroOpinion?
MetroOpinion is only available in specific countries. If you don’t live in any of the countries where it is available, you won’t be able to register.
As you can see in the photo above, it is available in select countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
However, not all countries it is available could fit into the image above, and it is available in a lot more countries than you can see above.
In fact, it has panels in more countries than most survey sites, so even in countries where it can often be hard to find paid survey sites to join, you will likely be able to join MetroOpinion. And it, of course, also has panels in the countries where there usually are a lot of paid surveys.
To sign up, just choose your country and fill out their registration form.
As mentioned earlier, the currency the site will be using will depend on your country.
Once you are done with the sign-up form, you can log in to the site. I would suggest you complete your profile after this to start the earning process. The sooner you complete your profile, the sooner you will start receiving survey invites.
Can you get support?
If you have any questions about your account or the site in general, you can refer to their FAQ page first. Unfortunately, the FAQ page is no longer available before you join, which is a bit strange, in my opinion.
If you can’t find the answers you are looking for, then you will have to contact their support team. Unfortunately, their site does not have a contact form you can use, but you can email them at support@metroopinion.com for any questions.
Overall, I would say they have a decent support system in place since they offer a way for you to communicate with their support team.
Final Verdict
MetroOpinion is a legit survey site that will pay you for answering surveys. It has a couple of good features, but it also has some limitations you need to be aware of.
So, let me summarize its pros and cons to wrap up this review. This should give you an overview of what the site has to offer so you can decide if you should join this site or not.

Using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud, and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this, and you are basically stealing from the site owners and this can not be justified for any reason, in my opinion. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN, and they will block you, and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country.

MetroOpinion is a hoax ! and a cheat. After completing sufficient surveys to redeem the value of $16, my attempt to redeem was rejected and I was kicked out and could not log in anymore. Be warned ! Avoid this cheat. I never got my money from completing all those surveys. When I emailed their support, they just said I could no longer log in and refused to respond to my questions as to why? Effectively they scammed me of my earnings doing the surveys

I am totally agree with you and I’m saying this based on my experience with them. They do not respect their engagement in terms of payment. Instead 1-4 working days to make the payment will take around 4 weeks. This fact says a lot .

When you contact they said is not their responsibility for payment. Need to contact Cint AB and this will go in a never ending ping-pong situation. Cint AB just close the request and mark as ‘solved’ despite the fact they didn’t done the payment.
