Well, it used to offer payment via PayPal or Wise when it was still called PingPong, but when it became Hotjar, the payment method it now uses is Tremendous, which is still a convenient payment method, in my opinion.

It can take up to 7 business days for the amount to be credited to your Tremendous account. Overall, I would say the site’s payment system is quite straightforward.

Even though the site pays you a decent amount per session (€15 for a 30-minute session, €30 for a 60-minute session, and up to €200 in some special cases), I would still classify the earning potential of this site as a bit low due to the lack of opportunities to earn.

That being said, if you ever manage to complete an interview session, you stand to earn a decent amount.

Can you use it on mobile?

While the member dashboard can be accessed through a mobile device since it is mobile-friendly, the work that needs to be done will require the use of a computer. It says so on their website, so to answer the question above, NO, you can’t.

The only thing you can do on the member dashboard from a mobile device is to check if there are any invites available. That’s it. Everything else will require you to use a computer, webcam, and microphone.

Who can join Hotjar?

The site doesn’t exactly tell you which countries it is available in, but from what I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. So, you can sign up as a tester regardless of where you live.

However, based on my experience, the opportunities to earn will mostly be concentrated in countries like the US, UK, Canada, and other big countries.

To sign up as a member, you must fill out the registration form, or you can use your Google account. Once you are done with the form, you’ll have to provide some basic information about yourself so that Hotjar can determine which invites to send your way.
