ClickWorker is legit. It is a micro jobs website that pays you for small online tasks, and you can potentially earn as a member.
But job offers are limited depending on your location, and the rewards for tasks are not consistent. Its support is slow and, in my experience, not very helpful. It can be a decent secondary site to earn a bit of income, not a way to make a living.

Is ClickWorker legit and safe?
Yes, ClickWorker is legit, and you can potentially earn as a member. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.
- Job offers depend on your location
I have heard from members in other parts of the world that job opportunities are limited depending on your location. Even if the hourly rate sounds decent, you cannot decide how much you work.
- Rewards are not consistent
Some tasks pay €5, while some pay as low as €0.15 or so. ClickWorker says clearly in its FAQ that this is not a way to make a living.
- Follow every instruction
Each task has requirements and steps. One missed step means you cannot complete the task, so read the instructions carefully.
- Slow support
I have contacted their support a few times. I got an answer every time, but it is not the fastest, and the answers could be a lot better.
- Do not fake your country
You can only do tasks that are available in your region. If you try to fake your country, you will get banned.
My takeClickWorker does offer decent earning potential, but it depends on where you are located. I like that it has a mobile app you can use so you can earn on the go. But if you are located in a region where the job offers aren’t really great, the potential income will be reduced significantly. This can be a decent secondary site to earn a bit of income, though.

Micro tasksMain earner
This is the bread and butter of ClickWorker. Complete your profile first; the tasks you get depend on it. Each task tells you what you earn and when the task will be paid. Click start, and you see the requirements and the steps to claim the reward.
To qualify for more jobs, use the Assessments section. Base assessments check your basic qualifications for current and future jobs. Project-specific assessments check if you meet the prerequisites for jobs that are available now. Some assessments are repeatable, so you can retake them to improve your rating.
Paid surveysFew available
Surveys are listed together with the other tasks in your dashboard. There is no separate survey section. You answer a screening test first, so you do not spend time on a survey you do not qualify for.
There are not many surveys, because ClickWorker is not specialized in this.
Offers and promotionsVaries
ClickWorker’s partners sometimes post offers and promotions. You find them in the Offers and Promotions tab next to the All Jobs tab. ClickWorker says it checks the offers, but it is not liable for them. I did not have any available in my area, so read the conditions before you take one.
UHRS tasksExtra tasks
UHRS (Universal Human Relevance System) gives you access to further tasks, like image annotation, video annotation and speech transcription. You cannot sign up for it alone; you go through ClickWorker and answer several questions and instructions to get connected.

How much can you make?
ClickWorker’s website says you can earn well over $10 an hour, and that on average you will most likely earn around $9 an hour. That can be possible, based on what I observed. But it depends on how many surveys, micro tasks and partner offers you qualify for, and how quickly you finish a job.
The rewards are not consistent: some tasks pay €5, some as low as €0.15. Do not think you can quit your job and work full time on this website. ClickWorker itself says this is not a way to make a living. Overall, the earning potential is not that great, in my opinion, so do it with the right expectations.

ClickWorker pays in euros, even if you sign up from a country that does not use euros. It is not one of the fastest paying sites, but the threshold is pretty decent, in my opinion. For sites that pay faster, see the quick-paying sites with a low minimum payout.
How to join ClickWorker
Almost anyone can join as a worker, for free. You must be at least 18 years old, and you need a verified PayPal account to receive your earnings.
Fill out a few details and click the verification link in the email you receive. Then complete your profile before you start receiving job offers. You do not get a reward for the profile, but it only takes a few minutes.
The app is on Android and iOS. When a task allows it, you can work offline and submit it once you are connected again. That is handy for tasks like taking videos, which use a lot of mobile data.

Readers from the Philippines, Thailand, Bulgaria, Kenya and other regions found few tasks. I suggest sites with better options there.
Readers asked about PayPal in their country, a tax ID field and requests for ID. For account questions, ask ClickWorker’s support.
Readers report tasks shown as incomplete and blocked payments. Do not take more jobs until support has answered you.

Mikael: I would definitely not take any more jobs until I had a clarification for this if I were you. Their support can be quite slow, in my experience but hopefully, they will get back to you soon.

Mainly in the third world it is almost impossible to qualify for the surveys , micro tasks are best option. I hope with clickworker or microtask i will make some money after being desperate with all the surveys websites

You can find a list of the best survey sites in Thailand here.
Some of them will have surveys in English once in a while. But many surveys will be in the language of the country you live in simply because that makes it more likely for the companies there to get people to answer.
But one thing you can do is to use a free browser extension that automatically translates the surveys. It won’t be a perfect translation but it should be enough for you to be able to understand the questions.

I did the same job 3X because it shows on my screen that my data was 100% loaded, then when I check my balance that is supposed to be 13.50 Euros my balance keep showing 0,00 and on their dashboard shows that my task is incomplete. The same when I took the 1st test with them to see if I was able to work for them and on each answer that I gave it corrects me showing what I’ve answered and what would be the correct answer if I did a mistake. Now the funny part is that 2 of questions I answered in a way and it showed me that I answered in a different way…. I wrote them an email explaining and up to now I have no response.
I would love if someone who knows what else should I do…. like, don’t take any new job if I am not sure if I will be paid
I would definitely not take any more jobs until I had a clarification for this if I were you. Their support can be quite slow, in my experience but hopefully, they will get back to you soon. But do not spend any more time on it until you do as you then risk wasting your time.
Until then there are plenty of other sites you can join and earn on as alternatives. What country do you live in? Then I will be happy to give a few suggestions for great alternatives.

By the way, I did 2 videos showing that I was posting a 2nd time then I did another recording and on the video I am saying that it was a 3rd time.
I reduced the size of the video and I´ve sent to the person that I just received an email saying that I was supposed to wait until the system says thank you or something like this…. Yes, I´ve waited but it is not my fault if their system has a problem.
I have repeted the same job 3X but I just want to be paid for the job and my ballance is on 0,00 it took me a lot of time…. ove 3 hours…. I had to sort out a lot of photos that they asked for over 5 years of photos and this is not easy to go in to your files and sort photos that there are no participants and so on…. I mean it takes time.

I have a verified PayPal I’d to withdraw funds from clickworker. Which I made when I was in USA. Now in Nepal PayPal doesn’t supports the payment gateway.

As you can see the payment details in clickworker account, you will find a box asking tax I’d of a PayPal account, which I don’t have. But My PayPal account is verified.I can send and receive money anywhere globally. but I am still confused if I could receive my payments from click worker or not? Hi there, I am from Nepal . Let me tell you,I was in USA for 10 years I do have social security number but do not have tax I’d number. I have already created an account on clickworker and transferred some jobs as well. You know, I am confused whether I should keep transferring jobs or not because I am afraid of the payment it’s because I don’t have tax I’d no. I know most sites are very strict about where you come from so if you try to make it look you are from the US but do not live there, it can be a problem. But when it comes to tax, I do not know as tax rules are very different from country to country.
